I'LL NOT SAY THANKS AS I DIDN'T ASK YOU TO HELP ME.

Imperial City at Trust Hospital in evening,

After a long day of work Seren packed up her things as she was leaving her office. She exited the entrance and was looking at her phone. She was reading some messages. Just then suddenly someone from the back held her wrist and called her name, "Seren".

She looked at the back to see who was the person but was surprised a little as she saw a familiar face, " Mr. Kelly?".

EARLIER........

Louis was waiting for Seren to finish her shift so that he can help her move her luggage to their house. Even though Seren rejected him but he still came. After a while Louis noticed Seren exiting the entrance while looking at her phone. He called out her name but maybe she wasn't able to hear his voice. He called her twice but she didn't respond so he ran after her. Soon when he reached closer he held her hand to stop her while panting heavily and gasping for breath.

Seren asked as Louis was panting heavily, "Mr. Kelly?".

After Louis had inhaled some air he replied, " I was calling you but you didn't seem to hear me".

Seren asked, " What are you doing here Mr. Kelly?".

Louis replied, " Actually I was waiting for you".

Seren asked, " Didn't I say that I will go to your house by myself? Then why is Mr. Kelly waiting for me?".

Louis scratching his head a little said, " Uh.... I didn't have anything to do and was bored so I thought that I may help you a little to move your luggage. Also I was worried if you weren't able to find our house so I came".

Seren replied, " There's no need to help me. I am fine by myself".

Louis said, " I'ts fine if you don't need my help but can we at least go together? I don't like to be alone. I have also brought my car".

Louis was a social person and was always used to have people around him. When he was abroad that time his friends were there to accompany him. Here he had his family but was living alone just for the sake of his disguise. He would get bored alone so he would either accompany Alex for some work or spend time with Jason. But today as both were busy so he had nothing to do. It was weekend too so he wasn't able to go to the office and bury himself in work. With no option left he decided to go and look for Seren.

Seren sighed as she replied, " So what should I do with my car if I ride yours?".

Louis after thinking for a moment suggested, " How about this? You can keep your car parking here and we drive my car today. If you need to go to work then I can drop you to the hospital next morning. Please !".

Louis's pleading worked on Seren but still she maintained her cold self. Seren had learnt psychology in her intern days of career as an interest. She knew that humans have a certain type of fear or trauma. It can be even a slightest thing that can cause them unstable mentality. Being a doctor she immediately understood that Louis was a friendly man and so he didn't like to be alone hence she agreed to his request.

Seren replied, " Fine. Let's go".

After sitting in Louis's car, Louis asked Seren to put on her seat belt but fortunately it was stiff and Seren was unable to pull it.

Seeing Seren struggle Louis asked, " Do you need my help?".

Seren shook her head as she said, " No need. I'll do it".

But still after some time Seren wasn't able to understand how the seat belt worked. Louis looked at the struggling soul as he let out a soft chuckle without making a sound. He leaned closer towards her and pulled out the seat belt and handed it to her as he said, " It works like this" and went back to his position.

Seren buckled up the seat belt and Louis was staring at her making sure that she had buckled up properly.

Seren noticed that Louis was looking at her and so she replied, " I will not say thank you as I didn't ask you to help me but you did it out of your will. So please don't expect anything from me Mr. Kelly".

Louis was a little startled by Seren's words. He thought in his mind, ' Did she misunderstood me thinking that I was waiting for her to thank me?".

Louis decided to just change the topic as he knew that this woman was cold like ice and asked her address and she told him. While driving ..... Seren's phone rang, it was Kevin who was calling.

She picked up her call as she said, " What happened?".

Kevin on the other side asked, " Boss the patient on which you did surgery just now is having seizures. What should we do?".

Seren replied as she was calm, " Is the patient with myocardial infarction? The patient's name is Mr. Arthur in his 30's right? What are the symptoms?".

Kevin replied immediately, " I see tornadoes de pointes and increasing pulmonary artery pressure".

Seren replied, " Inject 20 milligrams of magnesium in his IV drip. His body was in a weak state to begin with, so he had trouble with electrolytes right after surgery. This is a rare case".

Kevin ordered the nurse to do so and within some moments the patient was stabilized. Kevin reported, " The patient is stable now boss".

Seren replied, " Write a thesis on it and ask the interns to note down. This rarely happens so one may not know the cause and might just think that there's a problem with the surgery. Also about where we should do the assignment I'll tell you later. I haven't decided the place yet".

Kevin said, " Yes boss" as he hung up the call.

Louis who was driving heard everything between Kevin and her. Even if the phone was not on speaker but one could still hear it from close. He was impressed by Seren's professionalism. He liked the way she was so calm and composed even when it was a rare case to happen to the patient. He glanced at the woman beside him who was reading something on her phone. She was so engrossed and focused that she didn't even notice someone has glanced at her.

Soon they reached her place. Seren along with Louis entered the elevator as she pressed the button to 7th floor. As they reached 7th floor, she strode towards room 707 and inserted her password. She went inside her apartment and Louis followed her. He saw her house was plain and simple but a little interesting.

When Louis was looking around Seren said, " Wait here. I'll pack up in some time".

Louis nodded as he roamed and was looking around her house. While roaming he found a room which was a little open. Thankfully Seren was in her bedroom so Louis decided to go in that secret room. As he entered the room, he saw that it was designed in purple theme. There he saw a piano which had photocards of seven people on it. He looked around and found out that there was a shelf which had many albums, lightsticks and merch in it. There was even a wall where the same people on photocards were sketched. On an another wall there were some tags and some phrases written.

The phrases on the galaxy themed wall were written as, " Love myself. Love yourself. Peace. ; When you guys partied, I gave up sleep for my dreams ; Don't let others words become the measure of your worth ; Go on your path, even if you live for a day ; I'd rather die than to live without passion ; We were born to be real and not perfect ; Even if I fall and hurt myself, I run towards my dream".

At the end of the wall it was written, " I'm the one I should love in this world. Shining me, precious soul of mine. Now as I realized so I love me. Not so perfect but so beautiful".

Louis was immersed in reading all those phrases. He was a little surprised to see this room cause Seren's apartmnet was plainly designed just as Alex had his but this room was something different. Maybe this room was where she expressed her true self.

Louis went out of the room as he heard Seren's steps coming. When he saw Seren he just pretended to be looking around here and there. Seren came back with her suitcase as she said, " We can go now".

Louis thought that the things inside her secret room were precious so she was going to take it with her but she was back with just one bag hence he asked, " Is it only this much?".

Seren replied, " Yes".

Louis asked again, " Don't you need anything more? Are you fine with just one suitcase?".

Seren replied , " There's no need for me to take nothing but my basic needs. As we are just getting divorced after two years so it's better to only take few things. I don't want to burden myself for shifting the luggage again".

Louis coudn't say anything as he knew that their marriage was just a deal between them. So it was natural for Seren to think about future and take actions based on it.

Soon they left the place after making sure that Seren had everything with her that she needed.
