Evander continued, "If you don't listen to me, then you will regret it."

Thorn said, "Yeah, sure, if you could even do anything."

Athena came between them and said, "Guys, don't fight."

Evander screamed, "Don't tell me what to do!"

Thorn shouted, "Don't demand anything from her!"

Evander looked furious and ran away from the group. Athena sighed and said, "I shouldn't have pissed him off."

Thorn said, "It's not your fault, Athena."

Athena replied, "But I still feel very sorry."

Thorn said, "He was being a pain in the ass. He'll come back later, don't worry."

Meanwhile, Evander was running down the hall when he saw a place to sit. He sat down, fuming. "Stupid Evernight, stupid Ravenwood, stupid group," he muttered, still angry. Then he saw something gold. He took it, and it transformed into a tiny fairy, fluttering around him.

"Hey, hey, why do you look so mad?" the fairy asked.

Evander replied, "Because of that dumbass Evernight."

The fairy flew around him and said, "People are smart in their own way."

Evander said, "I'm just mad because he's a pain in the ass."

The fairy, still flying around him, said, "People who try to blame others are usually the ones to blame."

Evander protested, "But he is!"

The fairy asked, "Tell me why you're so mad at him."

Evander replied, "Well, he's annoying and always tries to pick a fight with me!"

The fairy suggested, "Maybe we should let go of all the anger and start being happy."

Evander asked, "Happy?"

The fairy explained, "Happiness is when you like something and it makes you smile or just feel good. Everyone feels happiness."

Evander asked, "Really?"

The fairy joked, "Only if you're not a Frost." She laughed, but then stopped and looked at Evander. "Wait, are you a Frost?"

Evander nodded.

The fairy quickly apologized, "I am so sorry, I didn't mean to offend you."

Evander said, "It's okay."

Athena, Thorn, Flint, Flate, Rowan, and Felix saw Evander and said, "We have something that can get us back."

Flate added, "Yeah, it only needs a thing or two to get fixed."

Evander asked, "Can't they see you?"

Athena asked, "See who?"

The fairy laughed and said, "They can, but I've set my sight on you, so right now you look silly talking to yourself."

Evander looked mad at her, and she giggled, "Don't be mad," and flew around him.

Thorn then said, "Who agrees we should take Evander to the healer's room?" He raised his hand, and Rowan did too, but they both got kicked by Athena.

Evander protested, "I am not crazy."

Thorn said playfully, "Yeah, sure."

Evander asked, "So how are we going to fix it?"

Flint replied, "To the mix room."

Evander said, "Okay, let's go there. Fairy, follow us."

The fairy replied, "Okay, okay." They looked at him weirdly but still walked with him.

Some students walked up to them and said, "Hey, mate, do you guys want a broom race?"

They almost wanted to say no but didn't get the chance since the girl took Athena and Felix's hands, while the boy grabbed Evander and Thorn, and another boy took Flint, Rowan, and Flate. Suddenly, they were all at the race starting point.

Athena whispered, "How are we going to get back now, guys?"

Evander replied, "One of us should make the potion in the mix room." They discussed and agreed that Evander and Athena should be the ones to make it.

The girl walked toward them and said, "Let's start!" She then counted and said, "Hmm, don't we miss two more people?" Rowan, Flate, Felix, Flint, and Thorn shook their heads. She then said, "Whatever, let's begin!"

Athena and Evander walked towards the mix room, but then suddenly a professor came and said, "Hey, do you guys have time?"

Evander replied, "Well, we are quite busy."

The professor said, "There is a Shadowcrest party room for the students' eighth-year party."

Athena said, "Yeah, sounds fun."

The professor continued, "Would you guys like to help decorate the room?"

Athena quickly said, "We are sorry, we can't."

The professor said, "I thank you guys then."

Evander firmly said, "Look, professor, no. We can't. We are busy now, so get out of our way and let us do our thing."

Evander and Athena ran towards the mix room. Athena said, "Kettle?"

Evander replied, "Check."

Athena continued, "Blades of the wizard gold plant."

Evander took one of the wizard plant blades and said, "Check."

They gathered the rest of the ingredients, mixed them together, and waited until it turned the right pink color. They dropped the time watch into the mixture. Felix, Thorn, Rowan, Flate, and Flint walked in just as the potion was ready.

Evander said, "Okay, let's take each other's hands." They did, and he spun the time watch. After a moment, they found themselves in Professor Nightshade's office.

She looked at them and said, "What the bloody hell... you know what? I don't even want to know. Get back to your dorms."

They walked towards their room, and then Thorn said, "You know, you are sometimes an ass."

Evander retorted, "Well, you are more of an ass."

Thorn asked, "Why are you such a brat? You have everything—lovely parents, you're rich. Instead of being a brat, you could actually do good things for people."

Evander's tone turned bitter, "Lovely parents? Only my mom cares about me! My dad doesn't even give a sh*t about me. All he cares about is education and if I get an A at everything. Don't talk if you don't know anything about me!"

Then Evander ran off, leaving Thorn standing there, frozen.

Thorn pondered to himself, "Maybe I should apologize. He looked really mad, and maybe I shouldn't have talked about his parents. Well, I'm going to Mimi's for the apology gift then."

Thorn flew with his broom to Mimi's, landing gracefully. He cast a spell to lock it invisibly with good protection, ensuring nobody could take it. Then he entered Mimi's and sighed. The witch behind the counter greeted him, saying, "Well, well, what's the matter?" Thorn replied, "What do you give a Frost when they're mad?" The witch pondered for a moment before responding, "Well, you give them..."
