"Alexis, are you sure about this?" A man said with a voice that was as sweet as honey as he held Alexis in a hug. He stood at six foot with a muscular build, although his arms didn't complement the rest of his body that well, he wore green cargo pants, a black t shirt and a brown jacket, his skin was ran from hours at a time out in the sun, his hair was black and a buzz cut, his pronounced jaw line was covered with stubble, and his eyes were a soft blue like the ocean. "I'm sure hon" Alexis said, her voice was warm and caring. She stood roughly at five feet and eight inches, her black hair cut into a tomboyish way, her figure was slim and agile, her skin was a pale white. She wore a black t shirt with the letters "ODST" in white, in the background was a drop pod, she also wore black cargo pants and a dark green zip up jacket, in her left hand was a dark green duffle bag, her eyes were a Icy blue. "We'll be in cryo for only a few months, and when I wake up I'll call you" Alexis said before kissing her husband softly, she then smiled at him before he said "promise me one thing..."

-august 23, 2552. Epsilon Eridani system, on bored UNSC "defiance"

Alexis woke up leaning forward as she coughed cold water out of her mouth, others along side her did the same. Her vision cleared she began to see the steel of the UNSC 'defiance'. Looking to the right of her pod she saw a lean man who's heritage was Hispanic, his hair was a messy black mess, his name was Fernando. He gasped before saying "that's some wake up call" in a husky voice as he opened his eyes to reveal his chocolate brown eyes, Fernando stood at five eleven. "Loba I thought you said you've done this a dozen times!" A man said in a corse voice chuckling as he approached the ground with ODST armor on that stood at six six, he was also Hispanic, black fluffy hair and brown kind eyes which can calm a person with a single look, which is probably why he was squad lead. "Jefe, what's the word?" A white man with blond hair said next to her in between coughs and grunts, he was the slimiest of the group and probably the least handsome, slim chin and his hair was stringy, but he was a good shot, which was why he was the designated sniper of the group. "ONI decided that they need us David" Carlos said back as he gave him a look before saying "they need our skill set for a mission, which I'll explain later. Gear up and meet me in the pod room in four hours." As he turned around. When he started to walk out of the room he mumbled "and make your prayers"

"I wonder what his deal is" Francisco said as he stepped out of his cryo pod and stretched. Alexis followed suit and moved her head back and forth, popping her neck as she said "if ONI is involved we're probably getting into the shit" causing David to laugh as he hoped out of his pod and said "no crap shadow. Anyways, when are you gonna tell me how you got that name?" Alexis just glared at the boyish man causing him to say "alright keep your secrets" "well you heard the man, let's get ready for a drop" Francisco said as he headed out of the room followed by David. "I have a bad feeling about this" Alexis thought before heading out with the rest of her squad.

-4 hours later, UNSC "defiance" pod loading room.

"Alright listen up, because I'm only gonna say this once. ONI has requested team zelo's assistance in enacting the cole protocol, the AO? The city of new Alexandria on the planet reach, which is current under siege by covenant forces" Carlos said as he pressed a button, popping up a map of the city, he pointed to a area marked in orange on the edge of the city and said "this is our DZ, once when we landed we'll link up here" as he pointed at a plaza. "We'll make our way though the city about fourteen clicks north of that position and go to ground level, there will be a military compound that is currently abandoned, our mission is to destroy the weapon inside" Carlos continued before Francisco said "what's the weapon?" "Classified trooper" Carlos responded causing the ODSTs to look at each other. A few moments passed by till the briefing was over, all the troopers grabbed their weapons and entered their pods before the lids closed and they spun around, then suddenly the feeling of falling hit Alexis.
