ch 59- Anything for you

Rabon Fooz (in king's body) POV-

I took that big sword to my tree house and looked at it sincerely. It was just some childish thought of a boy in love that if he learns this weapon she would hold his hand too.

After a long time, my routine changed. Every morning I would set traps and after that rather than sitting free under some tree. I would swing the sword till afternoon after that I would go to the village for the exchange and then practice again after reaching home.

After a few days, the caravan of the girl had shifted to the village. I used to go and look at her sometimes between training but now it was impossible. But it didn't affect my training as I kept training every day.

To my surprise, I would often meet the girl as she was teaching the small kids in the village. I would sometimes stop to admire her beauty but then the people in the village would yell at me slurs as they considered me an outcast. It was embarrassing every time she saw me yelled at but I had thick skin so this was nothing to me.

Time never stops for anyone and five years went by like nothing. But I was able to find something about me, my talent for that great sword. I had completely mastered the sword in five years. I had never fought any human but I had once killed four tigers with it. I used to see the girl the same as usual but now we were talking whenever possible. I was not sure if she liked me but even if this much contact with her was enough for me.

Two years later I was still practicing the sword. The old man had recognized me and even told me that I had surpassed him. But this was not the thing I was most happy about. She told me that she liked me... Yes, my hard work had paid off.

A year later we both thought about getting married. The people in the village were against it as they thought how a wild, filthy animal like me was comparable to a fairy like her. And in a sense they were right but she never looked at me like that. She told me she didn't care what other people thought.

A year down the marriage and we had a beautiful daughter. She was just as beautiful as her mother. I had a family for the first time in my life. But with this great happiness came a piece of sad news too. One day some royal guards from the kingdom arrived to take back my wife. I was confused by this event but my wife clarified everything to me.

She was the princess of the kingdom and had to be exiled because of some circumstances. Now that his father was on his dying bed he had recalled her and wanted to apologize for his mistake. She was both happy and sad. She was the only daughter of the king so it meant that she would be the new queen of the kingdom. And she knew what kind of dangers it bought with such a position.
