ch 49- Mistakes

Rabon Fooz's POV-

Only one day is left until the tournament starts. I'm not particularly excited about it. Fighting is not my forte anyway. The thing that shocked me the most was how good Givi fought. I was supposed to be her assistant but it looks like she doesn't need one.

I was chilling at the mansion when I got a message on my phone. I was called by the boss to the main building. I could have just ignored it but he personally called for me so there was no escaping it.

I put on my formal clothes and sat inside the car which was waiting for me outside. The driver was the usual one who always came to pick us up and drop whenever we went to school.

"How you doing today" I tried to strike up a conversation. I waited but no reply came from his mouth. I also stopped asking him anymore as he didn't seem like the talkative type. We were halfway through our journey when the signal turned red.

"I used to be Mr. Garz's personal driver. " He said out of nowhere.

"I heard that you were his disciple. I took this job because I want to see what he had in store for us in the future. " He said with a sadistic smile.

"What the hell are you talking about. " I asked when he started acting weirdly.

"What will you do? .... Who will you choose?... This is so much fun...*KEKEKEKEKEKE*... It's going to be fun for sure. " He said while

laughing hysterically.

I was scared shitless by his behavior. This man was not sane. Was it safe to travel with such a guy? How can the Garden approve such a guy?

The light turned green and the car started moving. He stopped talking and went back to his usual self. His hat tipped just the right amount to show a creepy smile on his face. The smile which I used to think was one of professionalism was none other than a mentally ill person's smile.

I took out my phone and started doing random shit so that he doesn't look at me. Or maybe I didn't want to look at him. The rest of the journey was

accompanied by awkward silence which was an everyday occurrence before but now felt eerily weird. I just wanted to get out of this car as soon as possible.

We reached the destination a few minutes later but those few minutes felt like years. I got out of the car as fast as possible and made a run for the

building. I entered the building through the glass doors. When I finally felt safe again I turned around to look at the car.

The car was still there. But the driver was missing. I gasped and looked around me to see if I could find him again. But to my horror, there was no one

in the vicinity. I ran towards the reception.

"Hey did you see where the driver went? " I asked her sweating from my

forehead.

"Sorry, but I wasn't looking" She replied.

I got frustrated and began to think maybe he was afraid that I would complain about him so he ran. This was the only theory that seemed plausible. Then I suddenly remembered that I could just ask the head about him.
