The man in the mirror

As I was thinking about the kiss something strange happened my eyes .. they were turning eerily black. I thought I was hallucinating so I stepped closer to the mirror looking into my own eyes. And yes I wasn't hallucinating the white part of my eyes has turned completely black. I was shocked and I began to freak out.

"What the fuck is happening to me?" I said to myself but suddenly I saw a figure in the mirror.. it wore a dark long coat and it's face was covered. I quickly turned around but I didn't see anything . I turned back to the mirror and my eyes has cleared out and it's normal again but the figure was still standing there.. it looked exactly like the way I see in my nightmares and now I was terrified I tried to run out of the bathroom but my feet was stuck to the floor.

The figure began to come closer .. I could see it in the mirror. I tried to scream but I couldn't make a single sound. Just when I thought I was doomed the door of the bathroom opened and a pretty girl walked in . She looked at my terrified expression and simply rolled her eyes and began to do her business.

To my greatest joy I could finally move again and I quickly bolted out of the bathroom.

I was walking to the class when I mistakenly hit someone .

" Am sorry" I said still lost in my thoughts and I made to walk past her.

"Hey you are that new girl.. my name is Ricky"

I was finally snapped out of my thoughts.

"Nice to meet you Ricky , am..."

"Yeah I know , your name is Ariana" she cut me off.

" So where are you heading to? I didn't see you in the cafeteria. Aren't you hungry?" She asked me.

"Am actually starving but I didn't really see anyone to lead me there because am new" . I replied as a matter of fact.

" That's easy, you should have just asked anyone to take you there I mean who wouldn't love to be the new pretty girl guide?" She said laughing.

" Wait you think am pretty?" I asked with wide eyes 

" You're gorgeous honey but you look you unapproachable so they were kind of scared of talking to you incase you will you ignore them". Ricky said laughing.

" What? Me? Unapproachable? " I asked shocked.

"Yup.. you need to have seen you face in the mirror when you stepped into the class this morning. You looked like a beautiful beast ". Ricky said with a serious face.

But I was lost in thought already when I heard the word mirror. It reminded me of my experience in the bathroom.

" Hello.. Ariana... Are you there?" Ricky said as she tried to get my attention.

"What did you say? Can you please come again?" I asked.

"Do you want me to take you to the cafeteria for a quick snack? Lunch is almost over " she replied looking at me suspiciously.

"Sure.. lead the way Ricky".

Meanwhile in the cafeteria.....

The students were eating their lunch noisily .

Some female students were staring at a certain handsome raven-haired boy who was eating with his friends quietly.

" Dude.. I dare you to ask the new girl out" one of the boys said.

Now there were four boys sitting on the table.

We have..

Xavier- the talkative one .

Hunter- the flirt.

Aleric- the serious guy.

And finally drayce..the quiet one.

Xavier dared hunter to ask Ariana out because he has been talking non stop about how gorgeous she is.

"Remember you have a girlfriend already hunter" . Aleric said . He was tired of hunter's indecisiveness. The guy changes girlfriend every two weeks. And the present one his dating is now up to a week old.

" Dude I've never been serious about a girl in my entire life. She's the one for me. Like if she agrees to date me then I will never look at another girl again" . Hunter said looking very serious.

There was silence on the table and suddenly aleric and Xavier burst into laughter. They laughed so hard there held their tummy.

"What have gotten into you? " . Xavier asked as he tried to stop laughing.

"Maybe he hit his head" Aleric replied.

And another round of laughter started.

Even drayce had a hint of smile on his face.

" Dudes am serious about this. Drayce you believe me right?" Hunter asked drayce with expectant eyes.

Just when he was about to answer he shut his mouth and was staring at something or someone...

" Dude what are you looking at? Am asking you something serious and you are...." 

He turned towards the direction of daryce's eyes and he saw Ariana walking into the cafeteria with Ricky and he shut his mouth too.

" Am not really into girls but I've got to admit it.. this girl is gorgeous" Aleric said staring Ariana.

" Are you telling me? She's this beautiful without any makeup so what would happen when she puts on a makeup?" Xavier asked.

"Then Hunter will faint every time he sees her" . Aleric replied.

And another round of laughter started again.

Hunter didn't even pay them any attention and drayce was fully smiling now.

"Ricky... Why are they staring at us like that?" I asked her.

I noticed the raven-haired boy and his friends were looking at me and Ricky. And now they were laughing at us.

"I don't know" Ricky replied.

The uneasiness was visible on her face.

"They are mocking me Ricky". I said as we grabbed a few snack and sat at an empty table...
