Moonshine family (1)

Lunara led them all to a tree in the center of the city. It was the biggest tree around and on the top, a huge platform was built.

Around the tree were many smaller platforms and on those platforms houses of different structures were built. Suspension bridges and stairways were connecting them. They walked for an hour till they managed to reach the top, because they went so slowly it took so long. They just had to look around, because the scenery was just unbelievable beautiful, the higher you got.

The highest platform was gigantic. On the left side was a huge mansion with other smaller houses surrounding it. Almost on every building was a moon symbol attached. The right side looked almost the same, instead the sun was chosen as symbol on every building.

Lunara looked at Rosch and waved them to the left side. As the group walked towards the huge gate that would lead into the Moonshine Family, guards stopped them for a second. But as they saw Lunara, no further questions were asked.

Instead, they looked surprised, which made Lunara even more nervous.

They went further inside till they reached the mansion. The guards in front were shocked and one of them run inside to tell the people inside that someone was coming, but Lunara didn't want to wait and went in.

She passed many shocked people on the way, as she finally reached the main hall. In it she saw her father on the main chair, like a king, she got angry and dashed forward screaming.

"I thought something bad happened. Why didn't you come and save me? What is going on here?", Lunara was stomping in front of her father, who was a refined older male. He looked to be in his early forties. Had short silver hair and eyes. His skin was whiter than Lunara's, which wasn't the healthiest kind of white, more because of sickness or stress.

The older silver haired Elf looked so surprised that he didn't react at all. At the same time he didn't realize that he didn't say anything letting Lunara shout even more.

"Daughter you are still alive? I... I didn't know. Your...", Lunara's father said in disbelief, as he saw the Goblins in the back.

"Did you DIRTY animals touch my daughter? You want now ransom or something like that, NOW?", Lunara's father shouted completely enraged.

He gestured the guards to take action and in a second the group got surrounded.

"Stop it father. My son is with them and he made it possible for me to come back here!", Lunara's shout shocked everyone and her father instantly got even more angry. Because all the males in the group were of a different race. He must be some kind of hybrid.

He really wanted to kill them washing the sins, he had on his hands for not protecting his daughter, away. But to his surprise she seemed to really love and protect her bastard son.

"Tell me exactly what happened. I need all informations.", her father wanted to know.

"We were attacked by Goblins, it was our wedding day. Luthor wanted to show me a beautiful place, but Randan, the chief of the Goblins, attacked and killed most of the guards and Luthor. I saw it happen before I was knocked out. After that I was made the chiefs female and got my son Roschar. ", she told her father, while holding Rosch's shoulders. She told him more and everything Rosch did to make it possible for her to come back into the elven village. She wanted to impress her father, to make him hate Rosch less.

But he ignored it, talking about something else, much more important for him.

" Something isn't right. Luthor came back alone and told that you all were killed by monsters. He only survived through luck.", her father told Lunara, while pressing his hands together in anger.

He gestured a guard to come to him and told him something. After that Lunara's father walked back into the second floor with Lunara and the group.

They got to a door that was decorated more like a home, and not oppressive and cold like the first floor were meetings are held.

The door opened and they went in, only the guards of Rosch had to wait outside. It wasn't proper for them to go inside a noble's home with a group of guards, Lunara told them.

Inside was everything decorated warmly, with colorful paintings and crystals.

They had a table, but the chairs were cushioned, which Rosch liked very much.

At the table was a female Elf sitting, doing nothing almost lifeless. She looked like Lunara just with little wrinkles on her face, but not many and most look like they came not from her age, but from different reasons.

"Mother! I missed you so much.", Lunara shouted dashing to her mother. She was shocked, but instinctively opened her arms to the voice that called her.

"Luna... Is... That really you?", her mother asked, with a shaking voice. She grieved for over a year after hearing her daughter died and after that she wasn't the same. She looked very thin almost like a skeleton.

Lunara jumped into her arm and her mother instantly cried. It was tears of happiness and relief. She never believed that she was dead, but time was telling her otherwise.

"You came back. You really came back. They told me you died, but I as your mother could feel it. You are alive.", Lunara's mother said happily. But after looking at the group of females and one male she almost snapped. It was Rosch, his silver mixed hair instantly put pictures into her head that enraged her to the limit.

"You hybrid, what do you want? I will pay everything, but after leaving the village you will be hunted. Don't think you are her child.", her rage didn't stop, but Lunara stopped her telling her, what Rosch did.

After hearing the story, she was a completely different person. Lunara's mother jumped up and run towards Rosch hugging him almost unconscious. Her switch from hate to love was terrifying, just like Lunaras. She apologized and started to kiss his cheeks.

" Roschar Moonwalker, that is my mother, your grandmother, Milisiana Moonshine and the male at the door is my father, your grandfather, Vilcet Moonshine.", Lunara told Rosch who those people are, even though Rosch has already guessed it.

Rosch was surprised that his grandmother would react like that, but her aura and behavior, everything felt just like Lunaras, as if those two were twins.

"Look at that. My grandson, finally a grandchild that I can see more often. He even resembles us. Look at his handsome face and his eyes and hair that have silver mixed in it. He surely is one of us, even his shorter pointed ears are so cute.", Milisiana said, completely changing from the angered woman to a loving grandma.

She didn't let go of Rosch and held him tightly as if she would lose her family again.

" But mother, what do you mean with a grandchild that you can finally see? Where is Luschila? Where is my daughter.", Lunara said getting all worked up. She instantly thought the worst outcome possible, at the same time Rosch was shocked, he didn't know that he had a sister. His mother never talked about her elven family. Maybe she thought she would never come back here.

"She is with her father. After Luthor came back crying about your death, he said he needed time and went with Luschila away. At first, he came often because Luschila was probably crying, but after some time he found a new wive and lives there since then. Now she comes sometimes, maybe once a month.", Milisiana said almost completely in tears.

Lunara was enraged. It was an arranged marriage. She didn't have anyone she loved and didn't want anyone, but Luthor came to her telling her about the benefits and how much he loved her. He would make her happy and so forth. At that time she believed him but now, something wasn't right and she felt it.

" You think their is something fishy, too right?", Vilcet said a bit enraged, to his daughter. She nooded but knew without proof they couldn't do anything.
