Amnesia

Rev slowly opened his eyes, the view of his ugly, rotten wooden celieng became clearer.

he finally woke up, he was asleep for almost a whole day,

'Arghh damn it'

His head ached, as his brain slowly recalled what happend last night.

Rev wasnt much of a drinker, he never enjoyed drinking, but last night he forced himself to try and enjoy himself, not because of some peer preasure, but because he is convinced, his days are numbered.

not that he had friends to be preasured by anyway.

so he stole alcohol from the closest bar.

Truth be told, he couldnt buy alcohol yet, as he is 17 years old.

Last night Rev tried to kill himself, and jump off a rooftop.

of course, in the end he cowered away... or at least thats what he thought.

Bits of memory started pouring in his mind.

'..that damned rooftop yea, i remember that, But.. but how the hell did i get back here?.. theres.. there is something..something important...'

an uncomfortable feeling spread through his body, but he didnt pay attention to it.

Rev walked over to his kitchen but couldnt find anything edible, so he made himself some coffee, sat down and tried to relax and fully wake up.

the sun was just setting, painting the sky crimson red.

'Arghh, how the hell did i end up in this mess...'

Rev was around 180 cm tall, with black hair, and brown eyes, he has a slim build, he was born into a decent family,he didnt have everything the world has to offer, but he was honestly alright, with an average life,he was raised on moral values of black and white, good and bad, so he was even somewhat of a good person.

But one thing he did lack, despite coming to accept it only recently, was brains.

Rev was simply... lacking in that department, bad decision, after bad decision, after another bad decision.

'Hell, if only life wasnt.. so damn fast, mayby i would have time to think things through'

He could feel his memories coming back, as they did his heart rate grew wilder and wilder, slowly, the deadly realization, the 'important something' he tried to remember earlier, grew more and more clear, but just before that thought could fully form, a shattering glass sound came from the second room, next to his bedroom.

despite having 2 rooms, the apartment was in terrible condition, the wooden floors were creaking, and everything was close to falling apart, the apartment didnt have much more time before that.

Rev's body tensed, he slowly got up, grabbed a knife, and silently paced to the source of the sound.

His eyes widened, his mind blacked out, his eyes trying to digest whats in front of him.

just a meter away, a small dragon with silver, hard scales, throughout his tiny body.

his eyes were closed, and despite their size, he had small menacing silver wings.

dragons are extremly rare, with only around a thousand exists, but a small, baby dragon, is incomparably more so,as their way of reproduction is unknown.

The dragon looked in pain, as if he was dying.

Rev knew nothing of dragons, so he simply picked it up, and placed it in his upper pocket, in his black coat.

He was too tired to think about what the hell did he just casually put in his jacket, he wanted to know where the did that thing came from, but there were more pressing matters for Rev,the thought, he has yet to complete. 'Something... something is off'.
