Han Xuelian patiently digested the information the Grandmistress divulged. However, Chi Yulan's unorthodox methods of eliciting information were rather concerning. The woman didn't have a single fearful bone in her body, nor any consideration for the repercussions of her actions.

The Grandmaster sighed wearily, pinching the bridge of his nose. Chi Yulan had certainly added to the brewing troubles awaiting him. Inhaling a deep breath to allay the anxiety coursing through his nerves, the Grandmaster absentmindedly twirled a strand of Chi Cheng's hair around his finger.

"Do you realise what you've done, Grandmistress?" Han Xuelian remarked sternly, eyeing the Grandmistress with disapproval.

"If you're concerned about this sparking a feud with the Shan Clan, then you have nothing to be concerned about." Waving a hand dismissively, Chi Yulan reassured him. "I have taken a safety measure to ensure that Shan Liying won't be tattling to her clan about this."
