Small chapter today, I'm about to wrap up this volume and start a big adventure, look forward to it.

Carla:"Ugh, you are so mean to your newlywed wife."

Saibai, Ringo:"And you parents"

Leonora, Soe:"And your parents-in-law"

Elise:"And the rest of your family."

Cad:"...I think you guys are watching too much Mexican drama."

I say while looking at the adult group that was sitting at the table, they are now exhausted and with labored breathing after going to the heavy mana environment of the Spirit Forest, as I decided to call.

Even though I'm doing a deadpan look at their shenanigans I can't deny the amused to see a serious person like Soe getting in on the play.

Carla, Saibai, Ringo, Leonora, Soe, Elise:"Hehehe….urgh….."

Even if they can't move they still have the energy to make stupid jokes….sniff I'm so proud of them.

We didn't stay too much in the 'Spirit forest', I sent a message to Carla so she could bring the rest of the adults so they too could get bathed in the abundant mana of the other world.

That included Rarity's parents, it's looks like they ended up becoming great friends with the rest of the adults.

The worst one is Hondo as he is just an Earth pony, he can't use magic. In Equestria only Alicorn and Unicorn use magic, Earth ponies are normal ponies and Pegasus ponies…well…is in the name.

He is stretched in the ground trying to control his breathing.

Cookie:"Hah…Thank you young Cadmus…hah."

Cad:"You're welcome, but concentrate on the meditation for now, ok?"

She nods grateful and closes her eyes again. I'm helping Cookie, who is a unicorn, manage the mana in her body so as to not negatively affect her baby, as a Unicorn pony she knows how great is the benefit of an abundant mana place.

Of course, she was immediately worried about the baby, but before she entered the forest I had already talked with Celestia and we prepared for her arrival.

Speaking of Celestia she is still in the Spirit Forest, Ivy is with her as she also wanted to explore more A.K.A. find something to kill.

Ivy said that after we came back with subjects, she stopped acting all regal and ran somewhere to explore.

We are now back in Equestria forest, the adults are with tired, but happy, faces as they can clearly feel their bodies getting stronger even if they still can't properly feel or control mana, so now they are just relaxing close to the food table.

Kids being kids are full of energy, running around the clearing, and playing with Ahri, even Rarity joined after I made Theodora go play with the rest.

Theo wanted to argue but I had none of it, in truth, she want to join but is too embarrassed to admit it.

I want to join too, I never understood why all those MCs have to say that they are annoyed to just forget all their problems, play around, and generally have fun, sounds dumb to me, to be honest.

I won't join right now because I'm the only one here that can help Cookie, and the baby is the priority right now, but as soon as I finish here I will jump right in there and run around doing stupid things, just because I want and it's fun.

A few hours later.

Hondo:"It was really nice meeting you guys, and thank you for the opportunity, Cadmus."

Cookie:"It was a lovely day, I hope you can repeat it someday."

Leonora:"I whole heartily agree with you."

The adults are all hugging it out already having plans to meet again, the kids….

Mikan:"Do you really have to go Rarity-onesan?"

Irine:"NO, I don't want to, Rarity will come home with me and we will keep playing."

Rarity:"Oh darling, you don't know how happy you make me for saying that but I have to go back with my family, soon I will have a little sister to take care of."

Mikan and Irine are hanging Rarity's legs as she has a happy, gentle smile on her face about the confirmation she manages to make strong bonds in these few hours.

I as always am watching all of the unfold with a satisfied face, while enjoying the calm, warm breeze.

Celestia:"It seems that they became good friends."

Celestia approaches me saying friends with some meaning behind her words, although we didn't talk much, aside from Ivy, she was the person that I spent the most time with as we both like to sit in the back and observe people.

Cad:"They are all good people, it isn't hard to see how they manage that in so little time."

Pretending to not understand her hidden meaning I comment.

Celestia:"You're right, it is a shame that they have to cut ties so abruptly."

Cad:"Not quite, I already gave them a means to communicate with each other, the only one left is Rarity, as the little girls would like to speak with their big sister from time to time."

Oh Existence woman, just ask already.

Celestia:"I see, so you already made sure that everyone can keep in touch?"

You really want to do it in a roundabout way huh? I don't mind compromising, but it will not come free.

Cad:"Everyone that matter, yes."

At my clear jab, she puffs her cheeks like a squirrel.

Celestia:"You are mean, is that a way to speak to a princess?"

Cad:"Whatever do you mean."

I say looking at her with a clear mocking smile on my face.

Celestia:"You….*hmph* I don't want to talk to you anymore."

Cad:"Ok."

I shrug and make my way to the portal, ready to get back to my world, as I walk I could clearly hear a soft, sad, sigh, from her.

Cad:"We will be able to talk through that, I already promised Rarity to bring her to my world someday so she could see the clothes, maybe you could come together as a guardian.

I say while throwing her a neckless, much like the one that I gave Sephiria.

Celestia:"....Thank you."

She answers with a big happy smile on her face

Cad:"Just one thing, I don't like those roundabout ways, if we are to be friends, I expect honesty from you, the same honest and direct approach that I will have with you, ok?"

She nods seriously at what I'm saying and I can see the clear joy in her eyes when I said that we are friends. Long-living creatures that have the respect of others are some of the more lonely creatures that one could meet.

As I get closer to the portal, me being the last on to go through it, Rarity is in there waiting for me.

Rarity:"Cadmus, I, uh, Thank you, for everything, I don't know if I could properly relax without your advice, since I knew I was going to be a big sister I was nervous and wanted to be more mature so I could take care of her."

Cad:"Don't sweat it, and hey now you have some experience in being a big sister."

Rarity:"*giggle* True, I just have to train how to properly control them now."

Cad:"They were already giving headache."

Rarity:"Ugh, I love the girls, I really do but…."

Cad:"They can be a handful, almost all kids are like that, you'll get used to it."

Rarity:"Yeah…..*ahem* So my fine gentlemen, as sad I am to see your part this is not an adieu but an à bientôt(see you soon.) *giggle*."

She gets a little melancholic as our goodbye draws near and after recomposing herself she say her goodbye in a "proper lady" way while dramatically putting the back of her hand on her forehead but not managing to hold herself she laughs at the end.

Cad:"*chuckle* Indeed, and while it breaks my heart to not beat able to escort my lady back to her lodging I am content to know that she will be able to make safe passage as she is in good company."

Rarity:"....."

Cad:"....."

Rarity:"HAHAHAHAHAHA"

Cad:"HAHAHAHAHAHA"

We look at each other in silence for a while before bursting into laughter while holding our stomachs, it is good to see that she is more comfortable with me and the rest of my family to just let herself go now.

Rarity:"I can't believe that I wanted to keep acting this way, is so silly."

She comments while wiping the tear on the corner of her eye.

Cad:"I wouldn't say that, I think it just lacks some fine-tuning, who knows, someday it can be part of your charms?"

Not going to lie, Rarity in the cartoon was in my top 5 favorite characters, her flamboyant but elegant persona added to her heavenly singing voice always captivated me.

And although it wouldn't change our friendship if she wasn't that way for real it doesn't mean I don't want to see it with my own eyes right?

Rarity:"Perhaps."

She answers while raising her eyebrows with an amused smile.

Cad:"Here, take this, your parents already have a way to communicate with the other adult, this way you can talk with the other girls."

This time I give her a cellphone, it's a simple one, not a smartphone, it's only function it's to connect to other phones of the same time across dimensions.

Rarity:"Thank you, Cadmus."

We hug and after I talk with her parents and confirm that she will come to my world at a later date, I finally go home.

A few days later.

A few days after our picnic the girls have been talking with Rarity almost every day and it seems that she is starting to learn how to handle them.

I also have become a confidant for her, just like Theodora and Yui.

After the thing with Takaya, it looks like Eden Chronos went into hiding and it's now harder to find them, the bases that we knew about had only information of the ins and outs here on Earth.

Meaning anything from outside of the planet was still a mystery, even the important people they were inside the government either vanished or were found dead. I assume it was because of importance and loyalty.

Speaking of loyalty, after I send the video and other information about her mental conditioning AKA Brainwashing, Sephiria, stopped responding for a while.

She just contacted me today saying "What do you need?", I don't know what she saw, as I haven't seen the material myself, but she sounded angry.

So I could say that everything is going normally, I'm still in control of Shuie Clan as Issei is on vacation with his family, wich didn't bother me much as I don't like to do things halfway so it gives me time to end everything before handing the group back to him.

Or it was going normally until…..

Cad:"Raise your head."

Senzaemon:"Please."

Cad:"For Existence's sake, just raise your head already, how can we have proper conversation with you like that?"

Yes, Nakiri Senzaemon, the guy that wanted my skin for the last few years for 'splitting his family apart' is now in front of me doing a dogeza and asking for help.

When I said that, he flinched.

He slowly raises his head and looks at me, I can see that there is not much light in his eyes.

Most people would feel pity, the guy looks like he lost his soul or something, unfortunately for him, I am an asshole and I couldn't care less for a smuck facing the consequences of his own actions.

Cad:"So, what is it?"

Let's get this over with, I have work to do.

Senzaemon:"I….No matter what I do, Ivy won't talk to me."

He hesitate for a second but as I was rushing him with my look he had to resign himself to just say it.

Cad:"And what does that have to do with me?"

I asked showing that I don't really care about his sadness.

Senzaemon:"Please, Cadmus, I know I did wrong, I just want my family back, I promise that I won't be doing such a big decision before consulting them again, I now see that they are more important to me than the Nakiri's name."

With a pleading look, he complements himself, trying to be as genuine as possible, for these last few years, he had been in anger blaming, not only for the rest of his family not wanting to talk with him, outside of social events.

But also because of the hit they took because of Erina's father's death, he had a lot o important, scum people, in his pockets and after his death, they either tried to fill his role or to make things difficult for Senzaemon.

There were a few attempts of hostile takeovers that Senzaemon had to fight on his own, Soe and Leonora have both companies apart from the Nakiri group, so if it goes down they will not lose much as it is not their main source of income.

Mana, Erina's mother is still on her grand tour in search of food and still hasn't been back home or talked to Erina in all these years.

Cad:"*sigh* I won't make Ivy do something that she doesn't want to, and be aware that both Erina and Alice already know what you did, they are kids but aren't dumb, the only thing I can do is tell her what happened here, now, she will make her decision."

WIth a sigh, I inform him of the only thing I will do for him.

Senzaemon:"...Thank you."

Still, in resignation, he still thanks me as this is the best he could ever ask for. Truth be told, Ivy has no intention of forgiving him, his behavior was so akin to her family back on our planet that she was prepared to cut all ties with him.

One of the reasons she didn't is, even if Soe says he is fine, he is not, it's his father and it would hurt him a lot. the other reason is that even if the decision was like her prior family his behavior is not.

Cad:"Hah, tiresome."

I comment while watching be escorted out of the room by Ryu.

Tearju:"Here Cadmus."

Cad:"Thank you Tear."

For now, Tearju is working as my secretary, although she is normally a clutz, she is a well-organized person and her managing skills are top-notch, it is only temporary as I manage to get a job as the biology teacher for her in my school.

She is really happy about it, biology is her passion.

For now, let's finish my work and go home, tomorrow is my date with Carla and I want to make everything right.
