Chapter 1: Destiny Encounter: Who is this handsome man?

( Hello! I'm Daniella Slayer! I attend Princeton Day School! I never got luck regarding men. I almost forgot; I have a friend named Suzanne. Suzanne is my best friend. I've known her for years. My parents go on journeys a lot. They don't come home very often. For that reason, I live alone. I think I finally met my destined one, Jonas, or maybe not?)

I'm the prettiest girl in the entire school. Guys are attracted to me and girls hate me. Every day, I would receive ten love letters a day at the very minimum. People listening to this story would think I'm very popular but the reality is so much harsher than that. What those guys are attracted to may not be what you think. Reality could be so deceiving. This is a perfect example of that.

" Slayer san! Please, go out with me! I've loved you since the first time I saw you. You're my dream girl! Please, go out with me!"

Julian Sly is an average guy with an average life. He's among the top thirty of the class in terms of grades. I've always seen good in people no matter who they were. I never judged anyone based on his or her grades as I believe we're all equal.

" Okay!"

" You won't regret it! I'll make sure you don't".

I never judged anyone by the cover they tried so hard to show me. I always believed that those who expressed their earnest love for me were sincere. For that sincerity, I always give it a go and see how those relationships would turn out. Because of my down to Earth personality, my feelings have been played out a lot and in the process of it all, I always ended up being heartbroken.

" Who was that girl? What are you playing at?" Sylvana Joe, a classmate of Julian Sly asked him with no further ado.

" I'm not playing! Daniella Slayer is one of the prettiest girl in our school. I want to have her. All the prettiest girls shall be mine".

" You meanie! You played with that poor girl's feelings. She really believed you love her, you know".

" What do you want me to do? I'm a womanizer. It's not my fault if every girl is attracted to me".

What those two-faced people didn't know as they were amusingly playing with my feelings was that what's hidden in the dark always came to light.

" Daniella Slayer?"

Sylvana Joe shouted and Julian Sly irremediably turned around. Seeing my expression and guessing how angry I was, he thought of fooling me again with his hypocrisy.

" Slayer San! How long have you been there?" He was sweating a lot as the question came out of his damn mouth.

" I think she heard us just now". Sylvana Joe stared at Julian Sly with a guilty expression drawn on her face.

" Slayer San! I can explain. This isn't what you…"

He thought so hard his hypocrisy act would work against me. He thought I would be played by him again. He didn't except that his perfect face, the one who has every girl fooled would be slapped by me.

" You're a piece of trash! Who did you take me for? I'm not your plaything. You're the worst guy I ever met. You better stay away from me, from now on. By the way, congratulations. You two look good together. So long!"

I left on the spot as they both stood there like idiots. This was one of my many failed relationships. Due to all the unfaithfulness, I have great difficulty trusting and believing in others, especially guys.

" Daniella! Daniella! Daniella!"

This is my childhood friend and best friend Suzanne Woe. We've met each other when we were both six years old and it's been ten years since. She always has my best interest at heart and she's the one I trust most above all.

" Suzanne! When did you arrive?" I expressed my joyfulness upon seeing my best friend.

" I've been here this whole time. What were you thinking about this whole time? You were spacing out!" She asked very curiously.

" I was simply thinking about stuff. There's nothing more!" My response was very simple but, Suzanne didn't seem to believe me at all.

" Thinking about the past?" She surprised me with her sudden question.

" Why would I be thinking about the past?"

" I know you better than you know yourself. You can't hide anything from me. You have to forget what happened before. This time, it will be totally different. Jonas Water is so nice to you. He's attentive and sweet towards you".

Just for a reminder, it was Suzanne who introduced Jonas to me. Upon meeting him, I started believing in someone again, and gradually as time went on, I fell in love with him. So to say, he's my first love.

" May I know who you girls are talking about?"

The one who just showed up is Jonas Water, my boyfriend, and the love of my life. He's very kind and affectionate around others. He's also very caring. It was that side of him that charmed me and made me fall for him.

" When we talk about the wolf, we see his tail". Suzanne said, smiling maliciously.

" Hello, Jonas!" I greeted him very shyly.

" Hello, Daniela! What were you saying about me?"

" We were saying how cool and kind you were with my best friend, here. She never complains to me about you".

" That's because I love her so much. She's my muse and my future. She's my everything! I can't imagine my life without her".

Jonas Water's demonstration of love flushed Daniella's cheeks red-pink.

" Wow! How romantic? Daniella, say something!"

" What do you want me to say? I can't tell him that I'm happy". I said in a whisper.

" Wow! What a smile! That smile of yours is only for my eyes to see. I hope you won't show your smile to anyone else, but me". He said in a flirting way.

" Stop that! You're embarrassing me!"

" Daniella! May I talk to you in private?"

" Excuse me for a minute, Suzanne! I'll be right back!"

" Suit yourself!"

I left with Jonas unbeknown of what he wanted to talk about which couldn't be said in front of my best friend.

" What do you want to talk about?"

" Let's go on a date!"

His response left me speechless and embarrassed.

" A date!?"

" Yeah! I truly love you and I know you feel the same way towards me. I want to make you happy. I want to be the one to give you joy and erase all that sorrow and pain in your heart. I want to be with you forever".

I silently listened as he professed his love for me once more. I could see the sincerity in his eyes and that he meant everything he said to me.

" Where do you want to go?"

" Let's go see a movie, tomorrow!" He said radiantly.

" Okay! I'll be happy to go see a movie with you tomorrow". I grinned amiably.

" I'll come to pick you up at 11 a.m".

" No! Let's meet at the nearby park at 10 a.m".

" Okay! I'll be waiting patiently! Daniella, I love you!"

Every time he said the word " I love you", I was so nervous that I don't know how to act around him. I love him but I didn't have the chance to say it back to him ever since we started dating.

" Stop saying something so embarrassing!"

I got back with Jonas to where Suzanne was waiting for us a few minutes later.

" See you tomorrow Daniella!"

" See you tomorrow Jonas!"

After bidding goodbye to me, he turned to Suzanne and did the same.

" See you later Suzanne!"

" See you later!"

Suzanne stared at me with a confusing look. She didn't understand what exactly Jonas meant by the words " See you tomorrow".

" Daniella, what did he want?"

" He asks me out. We're going to see a movie tomorrow. We're going to meet at the nearby park by 10 a.m".

" Fantastic! I'm going to dress you up! You're going to look like a princess".

Suzanne has always been my fairy godmother. She's the one who helps me when it comes to choosing an outfit, especially an occasion of this caliber.

" Thank you, Suzanne! You don't have to go that far. I'm fine this way".

" Quiet!"

Suzanne is a perfectionist. Unless she's satisfied, she never lets me go. She loves clothes so much that in the future, I either see her as a designer or a businesswoman as her career.

" Perfect! If he sees you looking like this, he won't be able to resist. Trust me!"

She finished dressing me up. I was wearing a red dress which she specifically chose for me. She also helped me with my hair. She made me a special look. As I looked at myself in the mirror, I almost couldn't recognize myself. She transformed the plain me into a stunning princess like the one you usually see in fairytales.

" Daniella, when the movie's over, you tell him your feelings, got that?"

" Got it! I'll do as you say!"

Looking at the time, Suzanne panicked." Oh no! It's already 9:30! You need to get going right away".

" Come with me!" My sudden demand surprised her.

" What are you saying? How could I tag along on your date?"

" You didn't understand me! Come with me to the park where I'm supposed to meet Jonas. I'm way too nervous to go there on my own. Please! Please!" I begged her and she give in to my demand.

" Alright! I'll come!"

" Thank you!" I grinned joyfully as she accepted my demand.

Meanwhile, in the nearby park where Daniella was supposed to meet up with Jonas, a girl named Mira Green showed up in her stead.

" Jonas! I need to talk to you about something important".

" Sorry! I'm waiting for someone! We'll talk later if you don't mind". He declined to listen to her.

" What I want to tell you is extremely important. It has to be today". She said with insistence.

" I can't listen to what you have to say. Try to understand!"

" You're waiting for Daniella Slayer, aren't you? What is so good about her? Why her? Why has it to be her? What about me? I love you! I love you so very much!" She professed her love for him.

" You love me? I never noticed!"

The love confession took him by surprise and it took him a moment to digest her revelation.

" I'm not surprised! I always watch you from far away. That was enough for me, but when I learned you were going out with Daniella Slayer, I decided to confess my feelings to you".

" Sorry! I only have eyes for Daniella! I'm sorry! I can't respond to your feelings!"

" Please! Please! Please, give me a chance!" She hugged him in a desperate attempt to let her feelings across.

" Let go! Let go of me!" He tried desperately to break through but couldn't.

" Jonas! Jonas!" Daniella showed up at that unexpected moment and saw them in that unexplainable situation.

" Daniella! It's not what you think it is! It's a misunderstanding".

Daniella didn't give him the chance to justify himself as she slapped him." How could you? Why did you invite me to go to the movies with you if you had plans with someone else?"

" No! It's not like that! It was a coincidence!" He said as a justification for Mira's presence in the park.

" I was very dumb to have trusted you. I'm an idiot! An idiot! I believed your words like an idiot. It's my fault! I let the same thing happen twice! Stay away from me!"

Daniella ran away from the park in tears. She was heartbroken which she truly felt for the very first time. Jonas wanted to explain but she was way too far in the distance for him to explain anything.

" Daniella, wait! Let me explain!" He wanted to go after her but was stopped by Suzanne.

" Don't follow her! How could you? I never thought you were like that. I entrusted my best friend to you. You invited her to go out with you, but you were meeting someone else. How stupid I've been? She was even going to confess her feelings to you today".

Hearing that, Mira felt bad for the inconvenience that had taken place because of her.

" You're an idiot! I better catch up with her, or she's going to do something very bad, something she'll regret". Suzanne speeds up in order to catch up to her.

" Jonas, I'm sorry! I didn't know this would happen!"

...

" Jonas! Say something!"

" Leave me alone! Can you do that?" He left the park soon after.

" What have I done?" She muttered as she felt guilty.

In the land of Angels!

The land of Angels, a world separated from time and space is the realm where Angels live in mass. Twenty-five planets comprised it.

" Shin! Happy birthday!" A beautiful angelic girl named Estrella Kingston approached a young man with a cake.

" Thank you! I appreciate it! You always wish me my birthday every year. You should stop doing that! I don't want it to be an obligation to you". The Angel Shin Valentine thanked her.

" What are you saying? No one is asking me to do this. I'm doing this because I want to. We're childhood friends. It's only natural and I'm not doing this out of obligation".

" You're very kind, but it has to stop. You can't hang out with me all the time. You have to find yourself a life partner and get married. Think about it! I'm going to scrutinize the horizon

" Wait! I'm coming with you!"

" Don't follow me! Stay here!" He said without taking a glance at her.

" Why?"

" You have to stop following me around all the time. I'm going alone!" He flew away, leaving her behind.

" Wait! Don't go! Don't leave me!"

Planet Earth

" Daniella! Daniella! Where are you?"

Guessing she would have gone to her house, she arrived there as fast as she could and started looking around for traces of her.

" Daniella! What are you doing up there?"

After searching for her everywhere, she saw her on the rooftop and got scared.

" Suzanne, thank you! Thank you for being my friend! It's the only thing that wasn't a lie. I'm sorry! I can't take it anymore".

" I know you're hurt, but please, don't end your life because of it. He's not worth it! Please, don't jump!" She begged her friend to come down.

" I'm glad to have met you. Thank you for everything! Thank you for everything you've done for me up until now! I'm very grateful! Thank you! Goodbye!" She bid her farewells and was getting ready to jump.

" No!" Suzanne screamed.

At the same time, the Angel Shin Valentine landed in the human world, most commonly called Earth Planet.

" This is the human world! Why did I come here?"

( There is an amenable number of stars in the sky tonight. It's a beautiful starry night and also my last. How would I've liked for things to turn out differently? Suzanne, I'm going to miss you and also my parents whom I haven't seen in years).

" No! Someone! Please! Please, someone, save her!" She screamed tearfully as Daniella jumped.

The angel scrutinize the sound and flew directly to it. He saw a girl who was about to hit the ground.

" What's that girl doing? She's going to crash".

" Ms! Watch out! Out of the way!" There was an old lady on the way and Daniella was about to crash into her.

People of the neighborhood gathered to see what was going on. There was a ton of them.

" Now, I know! I know why I came here! I came here to save an innocent soul".

" No! Daniella! Daniella!"

" I will save you!" The angel flew to where Daniella was with an amenable amount of speed.

" Someone, please! Please, save my friend!"

" Young miss! Please, calm down! I'm sure she'll be safe. God won't let her down. She'll be saved". One of the neighboring ladies tried comforting her.

Suzanne look up to the sky and saw something unbelievable and unreal.

" Someone? There's someone in the sky flying with wings. I think it's an angel!" Suzanne muttered.

" An angel? Where? There's no one in the sky!" The neighboring lady looked up but saw nothing.

( Am I the only one who can see it?)

The angel flew up to Suzanne and based on how she was staring at him in disbelief, he realized that she could see him.

" You can see me! Don't worry! I'm going to save her! I won't let her crash!" He promised her.

" Thank you!"

The neighboring ladies didn't understand who Suzanne was talking to as they couldn't see a thing.

" You're safe!" He catches her in the nick of time before she hit the ground.

The neighboring ladies saw Daniella held by something but they were unable to see the one holding her. Only Suzanne could see the whole scene.

( Who's this handsome man holding me?)

" Wings? An angel?" She lost consciousness.

The whole neighborhood witnessed something inexplicable. A girl in levitation of her own. That strange phenomenon took place the night of the starry sky.
