Scars!

Alex's POV:

"As you wish, sir!" Doctor Oh answered me with a greedy smile on his face.

I smirked at his response. I know I am a brutal person, but this doctor agreed to my decision abruptly to let his patients die pathetically! I feel pity for those who trust doctors as deities!

"Are you sure about their condition? I hope you didn't forget my condition- I won't order you to kill those who can recover! Only the hopeless ones will be sent to paradise!" I asked him sharply.

"Not at all sir! These three won't recover that's for sure! So obviously they will end up dying anyhow... And I guess their family members must be tired of their bills now!" Doctor Oh tried his best to convince my mind.

"Okay, so here you go!" I took the cheque and handed him promptly.

"Thank you, sir! So, do you want me to perform my task now?" He almost snatched the cheque from me while inquiring me gently.

"Of course I want to see it now! It helps me to calm my dark soul!" I stood up from my chair while replying to him in a hoarse tone.

Mr. Shin was standing behind me while fretting. He seemed very disgusted about my decision.

"Umm sir, can I ask you something?" Doctor Oh asked me in a timid voice while we were leaving his chamber.

"Go ahead!"

"Sir, you have been visiting here for the past 5 years! Why are you always targeting those people named Choi Deok? Is he your foe?" He asked me while frowning his eyebrows.

"Well, it's my personal matter. If you have asked me any other day I would have treated you harshly, but today I am in a very good mood. So I will answer it-

Choi Deok was my brother..." I was very calm and composed while stating my answer.

Both Doctor Oh and Mr. Shin seemed very shocked with my answer as I could perceive that they were gasping at me from behind.

(Phone ringing)

I took out my phone agitatedly to look out who is bothering me now and to my surprise, it was Luna!

I answered almost immediately, "Hello, Miss Kim?"

"Umm, yes Mr. Choi! Sorry to bother you, but I had some urgent matter!" She sounded a bit polite compared to her usual cold and dense attitude.

"Go ahead?" I slowly walked away up to a distance from both of them.

"Actually, Mr. Ri just notified me that we need to conduct an urgent survey of our raw material industry in Jeju Island within 3 days! So, if it's possible for you--"

"I will go." I quickly exclaimed even before she could complete her words.

"Huh?" She resembled a bit puzzled.

"I said I will go with you. Just notify me of the date I need to leave from here!" I answered her cheerfully as it appeared to me as our first short trip.

"Ahhh, th-thank you Mr. Choi! I didn't expect you would agree so soon, however I will let you know within today! I will hang up now!" She disconnected the call pretty soon.

I smiled after she hung up. Only she can affect me so much in this whole world! She is... undoubtedly special to me.

I turned back and saw both of them were probably eavesdroping on me, it bugged me a bit.

"Mr. Shin we need to head back to our office now! I have piles of work to complete before leaving!" I commanded him in a cold voice as I was in a hurry now.

"Then sir, you won't watch the task?" Doctor Oh inquired me as he was disturbed to see me leaving soon.

"It's fine, you can send them to paradise and after completion of your task, let me know! Mr. Shin, let's go!" I walked away hastily towards outside. Mr. Shin followed me quite devotedly.

As we were leaving by the car, Mr. Shin was completely silent while being seated next to me with a frown face.

I was quietly gazing outside the window, it was a cloudy weather. Unknowingly, I rolled up my suit and there was a huge scar on my right arm. I was staring at it with my poignant eyes...

SPLASSSHH!

"Uwaaaaaaaa! Aaagghrrr!"

"Shut up you worthless brat! Or else I will throw boiling water on your face next time! You disgusting shit!"

She threw a bowl of boiled water on my arm fiercely which scorched my skin!

I was groaning with an unbearable pain from that burnt area while lurking on the ground! I..felt..my skin would just peel off from my body... 

"Ahhhhh mom! It's burning! It's burning aaahhhggg!" I was crying helplessly.

"You should have thrown acid on him mom! It should have completely burnt as well shut his mouth off!" He was sneering at me while I was prowling on the ground with the pain...

"You are right Deok! I should ask the servents to bring some acid! This brat constantly brags me to get him out off the room, though he knows it very well that he should adapt himself with the confinement! No matter how much you beg, I won't let you get out of this room! You broke my precious flower vesseI and you deserve to be locked inside! And if you won't shut your mouth, I will really throw acid on you!" She shrieked at me infuriatingly.

"Pl...ease.. please give me some ice... Uwaaaa.. my hand...my hand! It's burning...ahhghhh" I slowly tried to stand up holding the windows as a support with my wobbling legs while begging before them.

"Mom, don't pay attention to him. Keep him locked inside the dark room. He deserves to die there, so that I can be the heir of the Choi Industries!" Deok glared at me with a devilish grin on his face.

"Ohh my! I can't believe my small 12 years old Deok is so smart from now! Don't worry baby, I will definitely kill this brat so that you will be the next heir! Let's go! Let him die in torment!" She walked away from the window ruthlessly after cussing at me. Deok was still standing at the window while smirking at me.

"De..Deok!" I grabbed his hand with a last hope to save myself from that burning torment. "Deok...please...please get me out of this room...please get me some ice...I will die...My skin will peel off! Please....have mercy..." I was bawling before him by grabbing his shirt.

"That's what I want big brother! I want you to die a painful death! So that I can live your dreams and also become the only heir of the Choi group! I will even go to the art school of France! You always wanted to be a great artist right? So I am gonna live your dream too... Your death will be really beneficial for me and mom! And I am gonna tell mom not to send any food for you tonight! You might starve to death, that will be a good idea! Enjoy your time here my big brother! And next time, I will get her some acid to burn you down..." He shoved off my hand while replying to me and walked away without even looking behind once.

"Deok!....Deok!.... Don't leave me...Ahhhhggghhrr! Please get me...some ice...I beg you please... help me...Deok!"

"Sir? Sir?"

I flinched with the loud call and saw Mr. Shin was calling me anxiously. Soon I realized, I was lost in my past...

"What?" I grumbled at him in a cold voice.

"Sir, what's that big scar on your hand? It's looking very scary!" He murmured while rolling his eyes anguishedly.

I smiled at his concern towards me while rolling down my shirt to cover the scar.

"Pfffttt! It's nothing! The scars I have in my heart has forced me to become a ruthless person!" I smirked poignantly while looking outside the window.
