10 "A new turn"

~Luna's POV:

"Han Noah!"

"Yes! Noah, from your high school! Do you remember me now Luna?" He asked me with a gentle smile.

I remembered. He was someone who had been always cheerful & kind to me! Besides, I never thought I would actually meet him someday after high school.

"Do you know him Miss Kim?" Alex asked me sharply. He somehow looked a bit agitated.

"Ofcourse she knows me! Hey Luna! why aren't you saying anything!! Don't you know me?" Noah was restless.

"Yes! I know you! How have you been Noah?" I smiled gently to him.

"Ahh thank God! I was really panicked that maybe you really forgot me Luna! Glad you still remember me" He was grinning.

Somehow, Alex's face darkened. He was constantly tapping his feet. Maybe he was a bit annoyed.

"Luna! Can I join you two for sometime?" Noah asked.

I took a glance at Alex, his facial expression was weird. I thought maybe it's a bad idea to let him join here.

"Okay I will join", Noah suddenly took a sit beside me.

"Hey! I didn't tell you to join me Noah!" I was a bit gassed.

"That's fine Luna! I know you will decline me! That's why I didn't wait to hear that".

"Hey Man! I think you should have some manners!

You shouldn't interrupt two people when they were in the middle of talking something important!", Alex told him with extremely cold gaze. The atmosphere there was getting dense.

"Oh really? Do you know since how long I have known her? I bet you are someone she met recently! I know her from our high school! I am the first guy she ever dated in her life!", Noah was too hyped up.

"What?" Alex looked really annoyed. Even I was a bit surprised with the sudden prattling of Noah.

"Miss Kim! You are someone who rejected me first time in my life! I thought maybe your standards are too high! But sadly, it's pretty low!" Alex said me in a sarcastic tone.

"Hey you prick! Who are you calling low standard huh?? Do you know who I am? I am the owner of Han Publications! I bet you know about the leading & the most notable publication house of Seoul! Our platform is always trending with the works of all renowned authors! People basically die to get their works published from our platform!! And who are you calling low standard you rude prick--"

"Then I bet you don't know how enormously famous is Choi Industrial complex-not only in Seoul but worldwide! I am the heir of Choi Industries! Do you have a slightest idea of our business community you mannerless jerk!-"

Both of them were bickering getting all hyped up.

"Both of you shut the hell up!!" I yelled.

All the people inside the cafe were quite enjoying the drama going around.

"But he only started this Luna! He insulted me first!" Noah complained.

"Miss Kim he rudely interrupted our meeting first! We were in the middle of an important conversation before he disturbed us!" I saw Alex all worked up for the first time in this life!!

"Oh really! I disturbed you! Do you know her facial expression was all pale while sitting with you! She looked so uncomfortable! Luna always used to smile around me in high school! Her aura is like a goddesses!! And you are already giving a creepy aura you prick!", Noah continued.

"Yeah it's natural for people to always smile around clowns," Alex firmly replied.

"What did you say you prick-"

"If both of you doesn't stop bickering right now, I will be leaving within 1 minute!!", I threatened them with a deep voice.

Both of them stopped their arguement and was glaring at each other.

"Noah? Why did you unnecessarily blabber about our past high school life?", I asked him angrily.

"But I didn't say anything wrong Luna--I am the first guy you ever dated! I liked everything about you Luna! Your cold attitude, your anger, even I liked when you used to pick nose while sitting alone!", Noah again started blabbering.

"Hey you jerk what are you even telling!" I was dying in embarrassment. Alex was laughing at us!

"Pfftt! I didn't know the all mighty heiress of Kim Merchandise used to pick her nose too!! That's really surprising!", Alex was clearly mocking at me.

"Hey what's wrong in that? She was just a high schooler! What's wrong in picking nose in boredom? Almost everyone do that! Even I used to do it too-", Noah was trying to defend me.

"Noah if you don't stop running your mouth I am going to kill you now!" I glared at him.

"And Mr. Choi you too stop blabbering with Noah!"

"Okay!"- both of them nodded their head like obedient child.

I couldn't believe, how could Noah blabber like that infront of Alex! I was terribly embarrassed.

"Noah! I was having some important conversation with Mr. Choi! If you don't have anything urgent to tell me right now, I would appreciate if you leave!", I asked him in a gentle tone. Although I was really annoyed with his blabbering.

"But- okay! Then can I visit your cafe tomorrow? It's been 12 years since we have met again Luna! Please?" Noah was acting unnecessarily cute so that I won't decline his request.

"How did you know about my cafe?", I asked him.

"It's so famous Luna! Almost every celebrities of Seoul has visited your cafe! It's always in the magazine covers!" He was smiling.

"Ugghhh fine! Visit me tomorrow after 12 pm. Now can you please leave?", I asked quite sharply.

"Okay! See you tomorrow! And you prick! Don't pester Luna with your creepy vibe! Luna! you be careful around him! I will leave!" He stood up from the seat and walked away slowly.

Alex was watching everything with quite constrained eyes.

"Miss Kim! why did you agree for that clown to visit you tomorrow?" He asked me.

"Mr. Choi, that's my personal matter! Please forget about all the chaos that happened here!

What you said was- you visited Dr.John & met me here was purely coincidental right? You didn't do anything suspicious right?" I questioned him.

"Ofcourse Miss Kim! Why would I lie to you! If that clown didn't come & disturb us then maybe we had spent quite good time chatting here!", he replied slowly while tapping his feet.

I tried to believe him, although I didn't have any option rather than believing what he was saying.

I just smiled a bit at him. "If it's so then it's fine. I got my answer, I should leave."

"Ahh Miss Kim! Even today too I didn't get the chance to speak to you much precisely. Can I meet you some other time again? He asked in a polite voice.

I was reluctant to give any answer though! But some curiosity provoked me.

However, his actions were still suspicious for me!

"Okay!"- I replied coldly to avoid further persistency.

While walking towards his car, Noah gently looked behind at the cafe shop.

Through the glass walls he could see Luna & Alex talking with each other.

The expression in Luna's eyes while talking to Alex was quite normal, rather than the general cold expression she gives off to anyone while talking. The way she was expressing her emotions to him, Noah never had a chance to experience something like that!

Noah was watching them with sad eyes, he smiled painfully-

"Luna! I wish if you could look at me with those eyes! Even if it's just once! But I - I really wanted to experience that!

I miss you Luna! I really do!" He mumbled.
