Chapter 16 Knocked Out and Taken Away

Glen had transformed into a grey wolf due to the intense pain, twitching on the ground. If he wasn't rescued in time, he might die from excessive blood loss. Kaylin didn't want to meddle in his affairs anymore. Nothing good came from saving a wolf anyway. She already had her hands full with Frankie.

"Why didn't you just kill him?" Kaylin asked. She didn't understand. To keep him alive like this was forcing him to suffer a pain worse than death. How could Frankie still laugh like everything was fine?

"We have a rule. We cannot kill our own kind. But if I cut off his arms, the cause of death will be classified as death due to excessive blood loss."

Kaylin was speechless. She could never understand their thoughts! Even though Glen would've died from blood loss, Frankie was the one who had wounded him!

Frankie urged her, "Why don't you go and check on Ashton?"

"Oh!"

There was a lot of blood flowing out of Ashton's mouth, but Kaylin couldn't find any injuries on the wolf.
