Chapter 8:* Enemy from past part 2

I can smell Alpha's scent and he is coming near but there is also a familiar scent with him. I can remember it from somewhere and just then my mind clicked. It was Alexander, the bloody vampire. But how come he is here and if sees me he is going tell everyone who I am.

I started to squirm and Anna nudged my side,'' Hey why are you looking so nervous?"She asked me worriedly.

I quickly replied to her, "I am not feeling well suddenly".She waited a few minutes before replying "Okay, you can go upstairs and take some rest in a room I will make some excuse".Feeling grateful for her kindness I thanked her and hurriedly tried to sneak away. I was very careful in escaping and quickly went upstairs. After a few hours, I can hear everyone going home and I feel relaxed. I looked outside for any guard and there was none so I jumped outside and run fast without looking back. As I reached my room I was out of breath. I sit down on a chair started thinking about what I am going to do because I can't avoid him forever. He is going to stay here for some days.

*NEXT DAY*

I was eating breakfast in the kitchen with Anna when a guard came to us and said to me to come to alpha's office. Many thoughts come to my mind as he never called me and it was the first time. Maybe he realized his mistake and wanted to reconcile. I went with him and when we reached the office his beta was standing outside the door. he said the guard to leave us as he can carry from here and signed me to follow him.

Xavier was standing at the window looking outside and he turned around when he sensed my presence.

"You can leave us, Liam", he said the beta and gestured me to sit down.

Suddenly the environment becomes tense and it seems like he called me here for something else.

''Where were you last night and don't lie to me about that?"He said to me in a serious tone.

"I came to pack house but I was not feeling well so I came upstairs to take a rest, "I said with a neutral expression on my face." You can ask Anna about it if you don't believe me".

He was watching me with calculating eyes and his gaze was making me squirm on my seat.

"Okay, but who gave you the permission to leave without my knowledge".He said with an edge in his voice.

Feeling tired of all this I finally said to him"Why are you doing this to me? What I have done to you? How can you be so heartless? and I understand that you don't want me and I am okay with that fact but I really tired of your attitude with me"
