Chp.21- Miss you

After that long day I finally reached home. I openeing the door went inside changing my shoes. Reaching the main hall I saw Qiang sitting on the sofa reading documents serioulsly, without disturbing him I tiptoed quietly to my bedroom to get freshen up. After washing up and changing into comfy clothes I came outside to find Qiang still reading documents.

But this time instead of ignoring I went and sat on his lap crossing my legs at his back embracing him in a warm hug leaning my head on his shoulder curve. "When did you return?" He kept the documents aside and returned the hug wrapping arms around me. "Just now" I kept the answer short and shifted more closer, I could feel his hard chest touching my body giving out the warmath I needed most at this time.

"You seem tired" Worriedly he said rubbing m mopy back slightly "Acting spoiled the moment you arrive." He brushed my hair giggling.

"I won a fight today" I replied in a lazy voice since I was feeling sleepy from all the drama because of which I didn'tget to sleep in school. He immediately pushed me away grabbing my arms "You had a fight in school?" He ispecting me all over turning me left to right finally stopped.

"Are you done?....It was not a physical fight" I assured him again going into his embrace. "And don't you dare investigate the matter behind my back, alright?" Warning him I closed my eyes. If he investigate it and do something about it it will only cause another uproar, ruining my efforts at school.

"Okay I won't, are you happy now princess" he giggled assuring me. I got goosebumps all over hearing him call princess "Hey I ain't some princess I'm a devil." I stated proudly nuzzling my head on his chest. "Sure" he laughed at me. And soon even without knowing I fell asleep.

The next I woke up it was already night, dark outside with only moon shining in sky. I was in my bed, covered in blanket, I must have fallen asleep back then I rubbed my wyes and got up. LiQiang was not beside me but I could still feel warmath on his side of bed it means he was here but where did he go in middle of night?

My stomach grumbled loudly breaking the silence in the room. I rubbed my belly lightly, I'm hungry I need food. I got up half asleep going out of the room. There I saw LiQiang standing in the dark main hall with the moonlight shinning upon him, he was looking so damn handsone even at midnight. If this was a novel going on he sure has every gene that a main lead can possess. Ahh my poor self.

"Sure I will be there till afternoon" He nodded to the person on other side of the phone. "Hmm, I will see about that when I reach there" he rubbed his temples in frustration sighing. I not disturbing his call that seemed to be very important. I went and turned on the light of kitched finding anything to fullfill my continuously growling stomach. Opening each drower and cabinet in kitchen I searched everywhere to find something instant to eat cause I was in no mood and energy for cooking anything.

"What are you doing?" Qiang came from behind leaning at the wall watching me. "I'm hungry" I squealed slothfully.

"Take a seat I will preapare something for you" he holding my arms and pulling the chair made me sit at the table just watching a heavenly man putting on a apron and cooking for me. God this scene is everygirls dream and its finally coming true. I smiled from ear to ear moving my head in rythm of the song going inside my head.

After waiting for exact 20 min he extended a bowl full of ramen which looked so delicious and mouth watering. I could have just stared at it if my hunger was not controlling my body right now so I just started digging in my food.

"Ummm....Xiaofang, I am going tomorrow to another country for some business and won't be home soon." He sighed while telling me. "Hmm" I nodded swallowing the ramen in my mouth. "You aren't surprised or sad or no 'I will miss you'?" He shurgged staring at me with wide hopeful eyes.

"Okay...I will miss you, stay safe, don't forget to text me, eat properly...bla bla bla bla." I sighed giving up. "Its not like you are going for long why does he need to be so irritating" I mumbled to myself taking another bite of noodles.

"No I will be gone for like 1 or 1 and a half year this time." He said in a very serious tone. I gagged hearing that and drinking water from my glass looked at him "Really?" I asked suspiciously. I correctly remember that in Xiaofangs memories at this same time he went to other country for business and for like only 2 weeks but to not let Xiaofang escape she was grounded at the mansion for those whole 2 weeks.

I eyed him suspiciously. He without even blinking in a serious tone rubbed his temples "I'm not lying, it is a very big mess this time so I might need to stay there for longer." Seeing him so worked up I couldn't help but believe he wasn't lying. Getting up and keeping the bowl in the sink held his arms. "Lets go sleep now you have to depart early morning tomorrow" I dragged him with me th urning off the lights.

While Xiaofang was dragging Qiang to sleep. He was smiling devilishly inside. But that smile vanished in seconds and only coldness remained in hsi eyes as the night went by.

I getting up in the morning on my alarm. Streached my arms. It was already 8:30 am and the sun was up and I had 2 hrs for school. I looked around but didn't find Qiang. I felt something sticky on my head so I touched it and pulled a sticky note taht was sticked on my head. ' I didn't wake you because you were sleeping soundly. I heard your brother is coming back don't forget to go and meet him. I will be back soon wait for me, Will miss you' was what written on the sticky note. Even though it was not a big deal. But it was first time someone has written something like this for me so i kissing it properly kept in the drower beside bed.

"Since brother is coming back i should go Zhang's house for few days. But first lets go to school" I got up getting ready for school.
