Anna Wakes Up (2)

Mr. & Mrs. Swift who saw the way Anna was looking at them decides to introduce themselves to her.

"Dear, we are Vivian's parents." Mrs. Swift says.

"Yes dear we are, am Vivian's father Edwin Swift and she is her mother Elizabeth Swift." Mr. Swift introduced them formally to Anna.

"Yes dear we are her parent, remember her? She was the one who talked to you when you were still in an induced coma." Mrs. Swift explains to Anna.

"Yes... oh yes, Vivian sh-she…"

"She is no more." Mrs. Swift said.

Anna "…"

"It's been months since my baby left us, but don't worry we are going to keep the promise we made to her and that's to take care of you, to give you a good life dear and we want to know what happened to you too, because we have not been able to find any lead on your parent, we did all we could and even the young man that brought you guys here also did his best but we couldn't get any information regarding your family." Mrs. Swift said to her.

"And the fact that we also didn't know your name add to it too and made it even more difficult for us to know anything about you dear." Mr. Swift added.

"Oh yes, what happened to her? What is it that happened to her?....yes! She and Leo were in the garden, he was playing and then Jen called her, they were talking to Jen then they heard a gunshot and they went inside through the back door only to see their parents kneeling with their hands behind their heads and they were four men pointing a gun at them…" she stopped.

"Then what dear?" Mr. Swift ask when he saw she stopped midway through.

"Yes tell us everything that happened so we can know how to start helping you." Doctor Vince added.

"And then Dad saw us and he signal for us to run away to me, we did and obey him and when we were able to leave the house and manage to…" she stops again this time with tears filled in her eyes.

"Dear, are you sure you are feeling okay?" Mrs. Swift asks her.

"Yes, it's just that when we manage to leave the house i-it-it exploded with Mom and Dad inside and tho-those men they left and started chasing after Leo and me, we ran a little but the Leo suddenly hugged me and when I turn around to look at him i-I…" She was unable to complete her sentence as her tears split over and flowed down her face like a river escaping a dam.

"oh my goodness dear." Mrs. Swift who was hugging Anna kept weeping uncontrollably.

"And then I realized he was bleeding I checked his back and saw that he was shot." She said and kept sobbing uncontrollably in Mrs. Swift's arms.

Mr. Swift "…"

Doctor Vince "…"

They both couldn't believe this was what happened, both she and her brother saw their parent exploding into ashes in front of them and then her little brother died in front of her eyes later.

What a tragedy, and unfortunate one.

"Leo…oh my God Leo h-he is no more but his brother, where is it? I want to see Leo." She said while crying her heart out.

"Anna your brother is still in the morgue don't worry." Doctor Vince said.

"Yes dear you will be able to see Leo and bury him later too but for now you will have to gain more strength but for now just strength okay!" Mrs. Swift said.

"Yes dear you will have to rest now and recover first then we will find those responsible for what happened to your family and we will need your help in other to do that so dear please rest now." Mr. Swift said to her.

"Yes, you will have to rest now dear because you have already spoken too much already and stress is not good for you right now." Concerned doctor Vince said.

"Dear, you don't have to worry because I will make sure whoever is responsible for everything that happened pays for what he did." Mr. Swift assured her.

"Am sorry for what happened to your parents dearly." Mrs. Swift said.

"My condolences dear and please don't worry like I said those responsible for this will pay for what they did." Mr. Swift also said.

"Don't worry dear we are all here to help you okay." Doctor Vince says while smiling at her.

"Yes dear we are all here for you so you don't have to worry." Mrs. Swift added.

"Thank you all so much." Anna who looked calm compared to how she was earlier thanked them all.

Both the Swift couple and Doctor Vince smiled at her.
