Due to the ongoing investigation into the killing of the third elder, the academy was decided to be launched a month later.

A week has gone by since York arrived in poor neighborhoods.

Also, his relationship with Mark and Katherine has improved as the former talks more with York and treats him like a genuine friend while the latter doesn't blush anymore whenever she sees him.

After his relationship with Mark and Katherine was stabilized, York began to contemplate what he should do from now on.

He knows that there will be massive wars in the future and to survive in this world he has no choice but to become stronger.

For some reason, York could not harness the power of inscriptions in his battles in his past life, so he shifted his focus to inscription weapons, especially the sword, which gave him the ability to survive in many situations.

Pulling his thoughts back he decided to do some physical training first, his memory didn't come with just the sword techniques, it also came with a proper training routine to help build up the user's body to handle the strain the sword style possessed. Although his body now was just a class 1 inscription master, it didn't stop him from training as his intuition told him that it would help him in the long run. He would probably start to train the basic movements of the sword when he got his hands on a stick of some sort before he could get an actual practice sword.

First, he did some stretches and started to jog to increase his stamina. He never thought of the distance and just continued jogging until he ran out of breath and couldn't continue. He barely ran for 1 hour before he was on the floor panting as his clothes were drenched with sweat.

After a few minutes of rest, he was back on his feet when he noticed Katherine and Mark returning from the market. They were talking about something before he called out and grabbed their attention.

"Mark! Katherine!" York called out with a small smile.

Mark and Katherine perceived that it was a genuine smile from the bottom of his heart. Although they worried about York's face showing no emotions in the few days he spent with them, they liked the fact that with them he was capable of expressing more emotions.

That night, the hut was filled with a merry atmosphere.

The next morning.

Ares was in the palace of the Sun City Lord, Edward Wesker, waiting for a response to his request yesterday.

Finally, after a few days, he decided it was time to try to maximize profits by selling his property.

Edward Wesker looked at Ares for a few seconds before asking: " Are you sure you want to sell this property? Isn't it an inheritance your parents left for you and your brother?"

Ares shook his head: " York has received his inheritance part, the rest is mine to dispose of as I want. Other than the house, I'll sell everything at auction."

" Huh... Young people these days always think about making a quick profit instead of thinking about the future." the Sun City Lord sighed.

" Well, you can do this auction or whatever you want, I'll give you my guarantee so that the sale will be reliable and legal."

" You don't have to worry about this, I'll make the necessary preparations based on your request. You can just leave and come back tomorrow to supervise the auction."

" Thank you, my lord," Ares said with a small bow.

Ares left the palace of the master of the city for his second stop, which will be of help to him later.

That afternoon, news broke that the young heir of the McLean family, Ares, would sell his family's property through auction, in a way that gives any poor or rich person the opportunity to acquire such property.

Thus, the residents of Sun City entered into a noise, between skeptic and enthusiasm, the negative atmosphere that was hovering over the city of the sun began to dissipate, giving way to the atmosphere of anticipation and excitement.

Elsewhere, inside a lavish suite, Ares was sitting on the couch taking a small sip of tea.

He looked at the opposite figure asking for confirmation about Ares' suggestion: "So, you want to cooperate to sell me your family's property in return you want me to owe you a favor?"

" Yes, everyone knows that you want to expand your influence within the city, after all, it will be a good opportunity for you."

Finally, Ares put up the teacup and asked:
