Fate Wills It So

Do not ask which creature screams in the night. Do not question who waits for you in the shadow. It is my cry that wakes you in the night, and my body that crouches in the shadow. I am Aemond and you are the puppet, along with all that exists, that dances to my tune...

The Fall

Today was the day. 4 years of hellish torture and anguish had led up to this moment. Graduating highschool.

A huge waste of time if you asked me-"Oohh shit!" As soon as I stepped out the house, sleet met me and I almost slipped. Good thing no one saw that….right?

I scan my surroundings closely observing the little details for any 'rats' scurrying. I didn't find anything after 3 minutes so I just went back to what I was doing before.

Trying to walk to my car, so I could drive to school and get this day over with. I had grind day after day for 4.0 gpa and I WAS gonna get that diploma and go of to LSU and become a greekologist

Some Ice wouldn't stop me, ice could never stop me.

3rd POV

As Jamari regained his balance and trekked his way through slippery ice, he looked over at his street to see a unusual sight.

A drunk guy stumbling into the street.

"Is that Mr. Derphinatltisplahorianilismisticulequisksnaiaoandjddodlxlxsjowpskjdiod ?"

He asked himself quietly as he recognized the man. His neighbor, who was always nice to him and even bought him God Of War Ragnarok when it came out.

"It is.." He says once again as he continues observing the drunk man as he struggles to get up on his feet. A glance to the end of the street reveals to Jamari that a truck is barreling its way down the block on a fast break.

'He's going to get hit.' He thinks to himself.

His body goes into autopilot as he....turns around and goes into the house.

"I wonder how many likes this'll get." He says to himself, thinking about recording the man in his final moments.

But he rushes to his front door, he forgot something, his foot quickly loses traction and he slips dramatically, "ohhh no, my body, im slipping." He says quietly and strangely. As he flops to the ground his head bounces of his cement steps and kills him instantly.

———

'I deserved it, I guess.' An incorporeal figure shrugs unconcerned about his death. He surveys the surroundings, and all that meets him is darkness.

"⅄O∩ H∀ΛƎ ᙠƎƎN ƆHOSƎN!" An impossibly understandable voice says to him. Panic at the unknown fills his soul but that is stomped out by....something.

"For what?" Jamari asks calmly. Not understanding how he isn't freaking out right now. "Reincarnation?"

"⅄ƎS, ᗡ∩Ǝ ⊥O 'ƆƎᴚ⊥∀IN ƆONᗡI⊥IONS' ⅄O∩ H∀ΛƎ ᙠƎƎN ƆHOSƎN¡" The voice says, "⅄O∩ WI˥˥ ᙠƎ Ԁ˥∀ƆƎᗡ IN⊥O ⅁OᗡHOOᗡ WI⊥H ⊥HƎ ⅁ᴚƎƎ⋊S, ᗡO WI⊥H ⊥H∀⊥ WOᴚ˥ᗡ ∀S ⅄O∩ WI˥˥, I⊥ W∀⊥⊥ƎᴚS NO⊥ ⊥O WƎ¡"

"So…ill be a greek god!? Wow!" Hoy rushes into his veins and is yet again stomped out.

"⇂ WISH, ƆHOOSƎ NOW¡"

A couple seconds go by before, "Fate Manipulation."

"∀ƆƆƎԀ⊥∀ᙠ˥Ǝ¡ ԀᴚƎԀ∀ᴚƎ ⅄O∩ᴚSƎ˥Ⅎ ℲOᴚ ⅁OᗡHOOᗡ"

A flood of power rushes into Jamari's body as he is flung into a white portal.

——

When I had opened the eyes of my new body. I had the most…..beautiful thing ever. I saw everything and anything, the beginning and the end, everything that could happen. Atleast until the end of the Titanomachy. I guess that was all I could see until it was over, perhaps I just needed more training.

How the fabric of the universe bended and constructed, invisible to all except me. My infantile hand, a hand significantly larger than my old one, reached for a singular string of reality and while I could touch and feel the infinite possibilities I could manipulate with it, I could not move it.

'….No matter, soon I will be able to.' Disappointment didnt even register to me. I knew that as a baby, such feats where impossible to me.

I was immediately distracted by my sudden falling, simple turn of my chubby head alerted me to another baby falling beside me, and while the darkness of Cronos's throat and stomach, I could see fine.

'Huh! "The Fall", how poetic.'

——

After an unspecified amount of time, we finally reached the pit. By then I had already become used to my unique sight.

"A….baby, another one?" Demeter asked curiously. Her hair shot out and grabbed us carefully.

Holding two babes in her arms, she made her way to her sisters, coming up on a cave of opened skin only lit by a small fire in the middle.

"Sisters, we have more guests." She announces. At her words, two figures appears out of the dimly lit cave.

The first out is and auburn hair colored woman with blazing embers for eyes that contained all the warmth in the world.

The second was another beautiful woman with dark indigo colored hair and amethyst for her pearly eyes.

"Two more? I had only sensed one. Are you sure Demeter?" The fire eyed girl asked.

"Can you not see them Hestia? They are our younger…brothers." Demeter replies.

"Brothers? Twins as well, it seems father condemns more to this cave." The purple eyed woman says.

Demeter passes one of the children to the girls, Hades to Hestia and Aemond to Hera.

Hera contemplates while holding her younger brother, "Perhaps more company would not be so bad." She mutters to herself.
