91 Tidal Disruption Event

Amaterasu's Divine Temple,

"From fools who know not of the workings of the world, a display foolish courage."

Amaterasu looked around, noticing not at the intricate designs of her domain and temple but at the filth that dared intrude upon what she declared hers to sat their meagre meaningless curiosities, when had she become so lax as to allow such preposterous acts?

The magician she'd granted an audience only seemed to be humming with his head resting on a hand, observing her in a curious and amused silence.., "Soo are all Gods like this? What's wrong with a couple of people just walking around?"

"Silence, I've entertained your insolence long enough as well."

"Love the attitude, you'd almost think you did that of your own choice."

".....I said silence."

"No."

"...."

It would be a complete and utter lie if the Goddess of the Sun declared she hadn't seen insolent fools before but this... It went well beyond that, who in their right mind would talk to someone like her so casually?!

"Heh..." She grinned widely, displaying her sharp fang-like teeth, "Young god, have you not yet realised what your actions could cause?" Her glowing tails playfully swayed about behind her figure, even if he'd aged himself using the human's useless tricks, his mind couldn't possibly be the same nor could his wisdom!

"Are you thin-"

"Precisely so, if I could reach you in a distant future what prevents me from reaching to the time you were born?"

"You do th-"

"Even if as a God such a thing would have no effect on the current you, what of your wealth? What of your influence? It would all disappear in a flash!" She held up her hand as her surroundings simply melted away.

The Beast's Crown seemed to buzz, even if it was white and made of light, there was nothing brilliant about it.. nay, the six massive horns changed their surroundings passively.. Depraved, reviling and disgusting, painting the layer of reality in their immediate vicinity a twisted dark, one from which no light seemed to escape.

"Aren't you supposed to be Japanese? Even I wouldn't cut someone off like that."

He totally would.

"You remind me of a certain person, except the one brain cell desperately trying to keep you together."

He was probably talking about himself.

"And no, I'm not talking about myself."

.....

Roman met the Goddess' grin with one of his own, and raised a hand to her, "You do that I drag the White Titan here."

"You think that thing can defeat one such as myself?"

"It did beat you." Tamamo no Mae had insisted on that fact, then going on to say Amaterasu was considerably stronger than the Scourge of God but still lost anyway probably because, "Cause you're dumb."

"D....D-Dumb..."

"Also needlessly arrogant."

"Confident!"

"With zero originality to boot."

"Wha?"

"Why did you even come out of your cave? You useless fox."

"....."

With a blank face, Amaterasu raised her hand and brought it down, her claw-like fingers tore through space and set the entire temple ablaze, enveloping in a coat of brilliant flame.

"Maybe it wouldn't be this effective if stars weren't deemed inferior."

All that brilliance and 'bravado' simply ended up sucked into the Beast Crown, leaving even the Goddess of the Sun with many questions.. How? He was supposed to be fundamentally below her! No Beast could hope to approach her level of power, that was a fact, a law!

Chuckling at her lost look, Roman held up a finger, not having once moved from his 'spot',

"Tidal Disruption Event."

Tidal Disruption Event, the term used for when supermassive black holes destroy and devour stars. It had already been observed by humans and because it was an event fundamentally isolated from the celestial body called Earth, it's influence, nature and effects were undeniable and isolated.

Even if humans described it using Physics, or broadly said, Science. The event happened in truth and the actual nature in a verse like fate was unknown, just as all Types worked on laws of their own, born of their own celestial bodies, Roman theorised stars and all events/occurrences in space did as well.

In that case the truth behind a black hole was unknowable, in Fate at least.

Bottom line was, Black Holes tearing through Stars and utterly destroying them was a commonplace event, with the former immediately destroying the latter upon first contact.

Of course that would mean the planet had no chance at all of resisting it's destruction if Roman didn't control the extent to which his own created ones affected their surroundings, him concentrating them also meant that the gravitational force they exerted was far stronger than it should naturally be.

"Tidhal Dish- what now?"

Seeing the Nine Tailed Goddess attempt to imitate his words and accent made the Magician chuckle in amusement once again, it made sense she didn't know considering there wasn't exactly a 'God of Black Holes'.

"See? Dumb."

"Grr..."

Amaterasu's tails violently struck molten ground as she growled, her hair standing on end, "Control your tongue!"

"Haven't we been over this already? I don't even like fighting y'know. Stop antagonising me." The Evil God tried to maintain a civilised conversation, ignoring the rising temperatures in favour of running his mouth with a shit eating grin, "You really wanna show your people their beloved deity being pummelled into the ground?"

"Didn't you just say you don't like fighting?"

"That don't mean I'm not gonna."

A few moments passed in silence before Roman groaned, dissipating his Divine Authority as well as the Beast Crown, returning his hair back to black and his eye back to gold, "Just send me back already." He stood up, grabbing his cane and slightly glaring at the Goddess.

Responding in kind, or at least what she perceived as responding kind, Amaterasu retracted her own Authority, only leaving behind the disgusting and intimidating aura of a nation destroyer.

"Ah.." Roman clapped his hands together once and pointed them at her in a moment of realisation, were all Gods this retarded? If so, he was going to have a much easier time with what he intended to do in the future, "I'll take away everything from you."

Amaterasu felt he wasn't addressing her alone with that last line.

"Intrigued.. but not worth it, I suppose I should let you leave before the rutting old man and the one eye think it's a good idea to intrude upon my lands."

Amaterasu waved her hand disinterestedly, removing Roman from her presence by force. Unknowingly, her gaze lingered on the glitching and torn spot the former human had been standing.. This was most interesting.... A human with such audacity, and such a mind, interesting indeed..

W-When did someone last call her...dumb?

The fox-eared Goddess considered ruining all he'd built for a moment before immediately removing the thought from her wind... They may think her dumb but she wasn't! Nada! Who knew what would happen if he sic'd that darkness on her.. She couldn't perceive what was happening, only that any semblance of contact ended with whatever made contact torn asunder, erased.

New York, America,

Unidentified Restaurant,

"Hmm hmm hmmmmm~"

Surrounded by countless decapitated corpses, a pale haired girl hummed to herself in seeming joy.. With an aloof expression on her face, she 'cutely' poked her cheek, her pupils moving to observe her surroundings, "Can't be right?"

One could even say Francesca Prelati looked adorably, if not for the fact that the carpet on the floor was soaked with blood, the walls were painted with it and the windows were shattered, as was most of the furniture.

"Throwing America into an internal conflict..." The Government would try to mobilise their magi department and wage a shadow war on the Scladio now that their intentions were made clear and her operation 'failed' providing Galvarosso Scladio with the incentive necessary to openly oppose them...Though, the french magus couldn't help but feel dissatisfied, what chaos would a shadow war bring?

"And from what I've 'heard', Roman Trambelio isn't one to act so.... unassumingly." Sure he did play in the shadows like herself but when everything fell into place, he would do absolutely outrageous things.

What was destroying a city, seizing a faction and destroying another if not brazen?!

Folding her feet, the magus closed her eyes in thought, the only thing she could understand from this was, "He isn't done with this country yet." She smiled happily, the next act would be the 'brazen' part of his movements.

Question was, what was going to be?

Invasion? Attack on the government? A natural disaster to throw everyone into a panic?

Probably one or all of the above.

Francesca shuddered, placing both hands on her cheeks, "I can't wait~"

-

"You're back already?"

"Greetings, I trust you are unharmed?"

Kagetora tilted her head, slowly sheathing her naginata in an attempt to hide the fact that she was about to assault the local government believing they had something to do with her Master's disappearance..., "What happened?"

"Nothing much.." Roman fixed his collars and ran a hand through his hair, grinning to himself, he owed that Goddess one.. That and he'd locked on to that specific point in space time should the need to revisit her arise.. Him siphoning the time period's magical energy would be an event lost to time.

"Then, shall we proceed?" Heartless questioned with a strange glint in his eyes, he honestly couldn't wait for what was coming and Roman had his undying support if his ambitions were true and not just words.

"Let's head to the docks."

"I gotta take a dump first..... What?" Kagetora was confused by the sudden questioning gazes of the two men, "Taking a dump feels great, you two are just stingy!"

She stomped off.

".....That never happened."

"What never happened?"

A bit of expo if you didn't catch on,

Roman's six horned Beast Crown appears as six massive horn like structures made of white behind him and his version of the Nega type skills Beasts have to reject something around them has been consciously augmented by him.

His horns are each localised black holes that act only in a fixed range around him, they exist passively like Tiamat's Nega Genesis or 6's Nega Messiah and are much more simpler, using the fundamental superiority of Black Holes that exist as the ultimate destroyers in his perceived reality to tear everything that comes into contact with the field apart. Of course this is made more true than it should be because of his own now ancient Divine Authority which gives him the right to bend reality to his will.

In case that's too complicated, black holes destroy everything. Roman's Beast Crown is a Black Hole acting in a fixed range/field determined by him. He changed it to suit himself via Magic making it a virtually impregnable defense and unbeatable offense.

Roman as Angra Mainyu and a Beast is dangerous but him being a Magician that lost parts of himself to the Root makes it far more worse than it would have been.

A TDE in actuality spaghettifies stars but here it's perceived as destruction which it kinda is and it's occurring simultaneously in a field surrounded by not one but six black holes.

For those concerned, Roman's Nega skill is named Nega-Creation due it's raw destructive nature and power but it's a name he'll never ever tell you and cane you in the balls if you say it.

Anyone ever get the urge to read about an mc that's a complete arrogant piece of shit? None of that initial arrogance that gets knocked down a few pegs after getting humbled but rather one that never budges from his stance. The kind of person that would crash into the same wall again and again until they break down or it does.

-

Also, just a preference for multiverse fanfics that may double as a hot take, I prefer when they leave the love interest in the world when leaving it. Sue me.
