47 Some Villain

Fuyuki, Japan,

Shinto District (Ruined),

Golden Lightning arched to the skies above, and surged all over the roads of the Shinto District.. even if they couldn't rightly be called roads anymore thanks to the explosions that had erupted not moments ago.

"Face me, King of Knights!"

Nagao Kagetora, a warrior from the Warring States period, the ruler of Echigo and one recognised as well as worshipped as a God of War for her prowess, leaned forward with a massive grin etched across her face. The Lancer class servant put an arm over her knee as her grip on her beloved spear tightened,

"Don't disappoint me!"

There were few things in life that thrilled her as battle did and fighting such renowned figures.. What more could she ask for?

".....I'm here as well though..." The Lancer summoned in the first batch of servants, Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, couldn't help but deadpan at how the enemy Lancer had completely disregarded his presence... He was standing right next to Saber though.....

Kagetora's gaze lingered on Diarmuid only for a moment before, "Let us battle, Saber!"

""......""

Both Artoria and Diarmuid found themselves at a loss of words for the enemy's behaviour... What kind of warrior was this?

"Doesn't work?" Kagetora stood back up, tilting her head slightly as if she was confused, "I was imitating mine Master....." The War God of Echigo didn't understand.... It really did rile people up when he did it... Why wasn't it working for her? She crossed an arm under her chest, placing the other on her chin, "Or is it that you're much too braindead to understand insults?" Kagetora's smile resembled a person the two servants before recognised all too well.

"Lancer, you don't seem like one who enjoys the suffering of innocents. Why serve that man?" Artoria questioned resolutely, raising the now completely unhidden Excalibur to her side just in case her instincts were right.... They warned her of constant danger.

"Hmm..." Kagetora only hummed, a smile seemingly frozen on her face, "What does the suffering of innocents have to do with me?" She asked rhetorically, appearing completely serious..

"....Ready yourself." Diarmuid raised his two spears, already having gotten her answer.

"Ah..haha, I was joking."

Their 'conversation' didn't go on much further after that thanks to a loud creaking sound emanating from Bob's 'corpse'. The golems that had previously been maintaining their distance drew nearer as well, coming out of the walls and windows of any buildings nearby..

".....Bob!" Kagetora stared at the three headed dragon in pleasant surprise, "You're still alive?"

Bob was alive....

It rose to it's full height, just a little bit under a hundred metres and stared down at Saber and Lancer. The beast's eyes shone as it raised it's head and..... roared.

The echoing roar was loud enough to throw back everything around it (minus the servants), flinging away debris and dust. It was a golem of Roman's design so naturally, it would have some hidden attribute to it... The regenerative property it exhibited was one Roman did as well, back when he'd been attacked by the unidentified Saber.

"What?" Artoria's eyes widened ever so slightly, "I was certain that...." She was certain that her blow had felled the creature... This.. was surprising. Still, the British King didn't even take a moment to regain her bearings, quite used to seeing all sorts of her creatures thanks to her past.

"This is great. Isn't this great?" Kagetora addressed her enemies with an eerily massive smile...

"....We may be in a bit of a bind." Diarmuid had a difficult smile on his face, golems all around, a servant with Divinity to the back and a literal dragon to the front.....

"I like these odds.."

Diarmuid of the Love Spot looked around, choosing his targets in silence.

It was at this moment that the 'battle' took a turn.

Kagetora raised her head to the sky before her gaze landed on Diarmuid and as if she were in a trance, the servant blankly shot forward, appearing right next to him in an instant and shoved her foot into his guts. The strength behind the hit sent the Lancer Class servant crashing back, hitting the ground multiple times as he tried to reorient himself but failing miserably as the War God of Echigo appeared right behind him again, jamming red spear right in his stomach, impaling the Lancer through the back.

Diarmuid coughed out blood with wide eyes.... Was he this outclassed?

He wasn't, just that Kagetora had both Divinity AND was in Japan.

"I respect mine Master more now."

Kagetora spoke blankly, grabbing the spear with her other hand and turning around before, using most of her strength, she threw Diarmuid over her head, sending the servant shooting into the distance.

Once he was seemingly out of sight, the self proclaimed Avatar of Bishamonten, raised a hand, manifesting another more ornate lance. She then threw this lance in the same direction as she'd thrown Diarmuid earlier.

Behind her, Bob roared mightily, slamming down it's claws at Artoria just as the Saber tried to aid Lancer.

Diarmuid, who was weakened by his earlier wound, had barely stopped himself from being thrown even further away when the spear lodged in his stomach dissipated...

"What th-"

He barely had time to react before another one, coated in lightning, threw him even further back....

Still...

"What's the meaning of this?"

The lightning coated spear that had hit him just then had just inflicted blunt trauma rather than pierce right through him.... It was as if...

"Separating us was the goal?"

It didn't take long for Diarmuid to put two and two together.... it didn't make much sense though.. In their weakened states, couldn't the other Lancer have just finished him off right there and then?

Lightning flashed across the heavens diverting his attention.

"What a troublesome enemy.."

Diarmuid couldn't help but voice out his thoughts.... What was the point of numbing his pain? And... How far had he been thrown exactly? He couldn't even hear the sounds of the ensuing battle anymore! What was that stupidly monstrous strength?!

It was at this moment that he found his thoughts interrupted by the haggard breathing of someone who by the looks, or rather, sounds of it, had run long enough for them to have trouble even breathing, "Lancer!"

Diarmuid, immediately recognised the voice and smiled helplessly, slightly displeased by the arrival of.., "My lady.... please leave." He spoke with slight difficulty, trying to stop the blood flowing freely from the gaping hole in his stomach....

Sola-Ui looked at the injured Diarmuid, and paling in worry at his condition, the dark haired woman ran to his side, kneeling down beside the servant, "Enter a contract with me, hurry! You'll die at this rate!"

She looked around, panicking for a moment, before her eyes shone, she'd had an idea.

"This...Look at this.."

Sola-Ui showed Diarmuid the back of her hand, or more specifically, the three red marks on the back, "I got them from Kayneth..." She spoke brightly, trying her best to convince the servant all the while completely forgetting that Kayneth seemed to have fallen to despair after seeing her pretty much beg for them, in her own strange, haughty, way.

"....Is this why....?" Diarmuid looked towards the source of the mist enveloping the city, had he known of this woman's arrival and sent him here knowingly?........ "What kind of villain would do that?" The Lancer chuckled to himself, estranged by the eccentric behaviour of the magician that was his enemy.....

He pitied the ones who tried to predict the way Roman would act.

-

"Y'know Saber."

Kagetora spoke with a bright smile, blood smeared across her clothes and face as she swung her katana continuously, sparks flying about her...no, the clashing figures of her and Artoria.

Each swing the King of Knights made with Excalibur was met with a swing from the War God of Echigo and when their two blades clanged, sparks would spew out as if the swords were fireworks. No doubt this was happening because of the sheer strength and speed behind their movements...... 'Movements' invisible to the naked eye.

"What is it, Lancer?"

Artoria asked stoically, meeting a swing from 'Lancer' with Excalibur.

"You could bend the knee to my Master. Abandon your pride for personal gain... If the Grail War is as I've been informed, only seven of us need die for his wishes to be granted. T'would no doubt be a shame for one of your calibre to fall needlessly."

Kagetora spoke her thoughts bluntly, sparing no thoughts towards politeness.... It wasn't that she truly minded battling till one of them died but, extending this offer was common courtesy in her times. She'd done the same for Rider, the girl had rejected instantly though and subsequently been felled.

"....What?"

"Is it worth it to serve a man who'd see his own flesh and blood die for others? I fail to comprehend the logic behind that.... Why?" Kagetora stopped fighting, tilting her head oddly and jumping on Bob's middle head... "Good boy."

"How can you of all people not understand that?" Artoria lodged Excalibur in the ground, resting both hands on it's hilt.

"All I do understand... is that his goals are much like risking.. nay, killing my own father for a man that throws trash at me every time I pass by his home.." ..... Not that Kagetora had any particular thoughts on killing her father.

"I-"

Before Artoria could answer, a series of explosions covered the ground floor of the skyscraper Roman had been standing on, blowing apart the supports along with everything else..... With a massive creak, the skyscraper started falling over.

"...."

Kagetora idly glanced at the falling building, noticing a certain man dressed in black running off with a woman in his arms.... Both of them appeared to be injured.
