Magnificent Sight

Karna was born into tragedy.

His birth was merely an attempt by his mother, a one-time affair. Once he was born, he was seen as nothing but 'an unnecessary and troublesome existence'.

As a result, he was abandoned and thrown away.

Eventually, Karna was picked up by a charioteer and raised.

Throughout his life, he faced countless sneers and cold glances due to his lowly status. But despite this, he never harbored resentment toward his mother at all.

Why?

Because Karna understood she had her own struggles and she was the one who gave him life, he thought that no matter what kind of person his mother was, he should not hold contempt or hatred for her. If there was anything he had to hate, it was himself alone.

Fortunately, Karna had a father who cared for him, granting him an indestructible golden armor and extraordinary strength beyond ordinary mortals.

Though Karna's path in life remained challenging thereafter and he may have been persistent and ruthless, he was also full of majesty, which earned him the title 'Hero of Charity' from the people.

Yet, he was ultimately forsaken by fate.

Confronting his half-brother, Arjuna, Karna faced an unprecedented crisis. Except for his father, no one stood by his side.

Still, he remained completely calm.

And so, just before the final battle with Arjuna, a Brahmin came to him. {T/N: Brahmin is the highest caste or varna within Hindu society that serves as priests, spiritual teachers, and communicators between the common people and gods.}

Karna knew the Brahmin demanding his golden armor was none other than Arjuna's father, the king of gods and god of thunder, Indra. Yet, he didn't expose it. Instead, he calmly took off his armor, undoubtedly no different than his own flesh, and willingly gave it to Indra.

Surprisingly, this action led Indra to be charmed by Karna's exceptional majesty and gallant figure and thus, granted Karna his divine and god-slaying spear, Vasavi Shakti.

However, even this divine weapon could not replace the importance of his indestructible golden armor.

In the final battle, due to his curse, the wheel of Karna's chariot was suddenly stuck in a rut. Without the protection of his golden armor, he eventually perished under Arjuna's arrow, becoming the tragic hero of the Mahabharata.

Despite all of those misfortunes one after another, Karna still harbored no resentment in his life. If anything, there were only regrets in his heart. For this reason, he longed for a fair and full-fledged battle.

And at last, he finally had this opportunity.

Karna's long white hair danced in the wind as golden crimson flames enveloped his body. He ascended slowly, like a rising sun, casting a bright light that illuminated the land as if turning the world into an endless day.

Everyone was mesmerized by this magnificent sight, not only for his dazzling appearance but also because they sensed his noble and resolute will, akin to the sun.

"Feel the mercy of the King of Gods, you will be destroyed with this one strike!"

"Watch, Indra! I will burn it all!"

Karna chanted his ultimate Noble Phantasm, full of vigor.

"Vasavi Shakti, the divine spear bestowed by Indra who acknowledged Karna's noble will... No wonder it's called a god-slaying spear, capable of defeating all gods with just one blow..."

Arkhan expressed his admiration unabashedly as another roaring flame, a peculiarly shaped greatsword appeared in his hand.

"Well then, it would be too regrettable not to give it my all."

This was Karna's sacrifice, unleashing his final attack, capable of annihilating one existence, either living beings or non-living beings, including magical beasts, mythical creatures, gods, humans, barriers, armies, cities, or bounded fields. Nothing could withstand its might, except for the world itself.

In fact, Arkhan could have chosen not to confront this attack. He could have evaded it with the power of Cosmic Juggernaut and then easily defeated Karna afterward.

But as he said, to betray Karna's noble will would be too regrettable.

*Crackle—!*

The molten gold-like intense flames soared into the sky from Arkhan's greatsword, ruthlessly burning everything.

Unlike Karna's divine fire, which showcased the grandeur of gods and the indomitable spirit of heroes, this greatsword's flame represented pure destruction, the complete incineration and termination of all things in the world!

"Thank you..."

Feeling the power that made the whole world tremble from Arkhan, Karna muttered gratefully and finally showed a satisfied smile on his face.

Karna pointed Vasavi Shakti toward Arkhan and shouted with all his might.

"Vasavi Shakti!"

Arkhan stared fearlessly at the spear bathed in crimson blazing lightning, raising his greatsword in response.

"This is the heavenly fire that burned Sodom, the sword of flame that guarded Eden."

"Witness the final destruction of the world."

"Shamash, unleashed!"

As the form of the greatsword changed and became more peculiar yet majestic, endless flames surged out from it like a blazing cloud, rivaling the heat of the sun, as if to set the entire world on fire.

"Might of An-Utu!"

As Arkhan shouted and slashed his greatsword upward, dazzling blazes of lightning fell from the sky, its terrifying and vast magical energy surged like relentless waves!

This was an all-out attack, the indomitable hero's resistance against the world!

Two completely different powers collided in an instant, freezing time for a moment, then—

*BOOOOOOOOOOOM—!!!*

The earth-shattering explosion resounded, as if the whole world trembled for an instant, crimson flames and lightning intertwined, the brilliant light turning the boundless darkness into eternal daylight, as if a storm of magical energy crazily swept in all directions, ruthlessly crushing everything around.

*Rumble—!!!*

Feeling the surging power, the faces of Vlad and Kama fighting nearby changed simultaneously, both choosing to retreat back without thinking.

One side was the god-slaying divine thunder, the other was the flames that incinerate the world, both in rebirth and in destruction, then neutralizing each other, leaving only endless chaos.

Such a magnificent scene, even in the Age of Gods was rarely seen, everyone witnessing this scene couldn't help but be filled with intense horror and amazement.

"Even the legendary gods would probably be no match for this..."

Witnessing this magnificent spectacle, Vlad sighed softly, realizing at this moment how great the gap between him and the truly powerful Servants was.

On the other hand, Kama pursed her lips, her eyes flickering slightly, revealing a hint of fear and a hidden sense of relief.

Meanwhile, Kiara's lips curled up with a hint of an ambiguous smile as she watched this magnificent sight.
