157 Hot?

"Since that's the case, let's make another bet."

As Arkhan said that, his lips curved with a mysterious smile.

"If I can succeed without spending a single soldier, you extend your time as my servant by ten more years. If I lose, the original ten years are null and void, then you can go wherever you want. What do you think?"

*Ba-dump! Ba-dump!*

Nidhogg's heart suddenly pounded intensely.

"...Are you serious?"

"Of course, I never joke about such matters, right?" Arkhan said casually.

Nidhogg clenched her teeth tightly, her pitch-black eyes crazily flickering.

Arkhan looked at her expression with a smile, appearing calm and composed.

After a while, she took a deep breath and said with a decisive tone.

"I refuse."

"Oh?" Arkhan raised an eyebrow slightly. 'Is this dragon lady getting smarter?'

"I want to change the bet!" Nidhogg pointed a finger at Arkhan's nose. "If I lose, I'll be your servant for a hundred years! But if you lose, not only will the original ten years be void, but you'll also be my servant for a hundred years!"

In a rare opportunity like this, she couldn't just let it slip away!

Cancel the deal? There's no such simple thing!

She intended to reclaim all the grievances she had suffered over the years from this man in full. Betting on the dignity of the Dragon of Despair, there was no way she could lose!

Arkhan paused for a moment, his expression becoming somewhat strange.

"Hmm... are you really, really, really sure about this?" He asked carefully, even repeating the 'really' three times to make sure.

'Hah! Finally scared, huh?' Nidhogg's eyes flashed with a hint of satisfaction. "Wasn't it you who proposed this bet? What, scared now?"

"Since you put it that way, then..." Arkhan shrugged. "I accept this bet."

"You better not back out if you lose." Nidhogg raised her delicate fist threateningly. "Or be prepared for the consequences!"

"Don't worry. If I agree to something, I will definitely do it. After being with me for so long, you should know that." Arkhan said with a calm smile.

"Hmph, that's about right!" Nidhogg smiled triumphantly.

'Is this too over the top for me...? Well, whatever, she proposed the bet herself, and it's not my concern...' Arkhan shook his head, picking up the teacup on the table.

"Hmm? Empty?"

He looked at the empty cup, slightly puzzled. Almost as soon as he finished speaking, two teapots appeared before him.

""Let me do it!""

Thrud and Yulina said in unison.

'I knew it would be like this...' Arkhan's mouth twitched slightly.

"I was the one who spoke first this time!" Yulina glared at Thrud discontentedly.

"So what?" Thrud snorted. "Last time, MY LORD asked me to deliver a message, and you intercepted me halfway."

"Because you were clumsy! What if you delayed MY MASTER's business?"

"Huh? Are you blaming me? Who almost knocked over the ink bottle while wiping the table that time?"

"That was just an accident!" Yulina blushed with embarrassment. "And do you even know how to make tea!"

"Hmph, what do you think a Valkyrie is? It's just a simple skill, a piece of cake for me." Thrud disdainfully snorted, proudly patting the teapot in her hand. "The tea I make is a thousand times better than yours obviously!"

"You said the same thing when you made the cake last time. What happened? Can you even call what you made a cake? I bet it could be used to build a city wall!" Yulina sneered.

"But Lady Artoria still ate it!"

"When have you seen Lady Artoria unable to eat something?"

"Enough!"

Arkhan slammed the table abruptly, and the two women fell silent. He sighed, unsure if it was just a clash of personalities or if Valkyrie and Dead Apostle were naturally incompatible. From the first day they met, these two had been eyeing each other, always competing in various ways.

Scenes like this happened practically every day.

Arkhan took the teapot from both of their hands and poured half of his cup portion from each teapot by himself.

"This should do, right?"

Thrud and Yulina exchanged a glance, snorted at each other, and turned away.

"Quite lively in here..." Artoria said as she walked in with a basket, her amber eyes scanning the room. "Are you discussing something important?"

"No, nothing." Arkhan chuckled. "By the way, how did you get here?"

"I had the kitchen make some snacks and thought I'd bring them over for you to taste." Artoria said while uncovering the basket, revealing delicate cakes in front of him.

"You always make things easier, Lily." Arkhan couldn't help but sigh in his heart. Having such a well-behaved student was truly fortunate.

"I'm just doing what a student should." Artoria smiled. "Hurry and eat, Teacher, they won't taste as good when they cool down."

"Well then, I won't be polite."

Just as Arkhan was about to reach out, Nidhogg beat him to it and grabbed a piece of cake first.

"Ohh! Is this human food? Looks good. Wonder if it's better than Yggdrasil's roots." Nidhogg sniffed it, her face showing a hint of genuine interest.

"Wait—" Artoria's eyes widened, but before she could finish, Nidhogg already swallowed the cake.

"Yummy, not bad... Hmm...? Why do... I feel... So hot? Head's spinning... Ehh..."

Nidhogg's pretty face suddenly took on a rosy tint, her black eyes clouded, and her breath became heavier.

"Uh... It's hot..."

Unable to bear the heat, she tugged at her clothes, tearing the dress in half and exposing a breathtaking body.

"Nidhogg..."

"Miss..."

Thrud and Yulina were dumbfounded, not knowing what to say.

"So hot..." Nidhogg's gaze was unfocused, sweet breath escaping her lips. Soon, she turned to Arkhan, taking steps towards him. "Arkhan, help me, please. I'm really hot..."

Arkhan snapped out of his daze, waving his hands.

"Wait, calm down..."

But Nidhogg seemed not to hear him as she tackled him to the ground without hesitation.

*Thud!*

Arkhan struggled to resist, but with his strength, he was no match for Nidhogg.

Watching the swaying breasts with the stiff pink nipples in front of him, Arkhan closed his eyes.

"Nidhogg, snap out of it!"

"You're too noisy..." Nidhogg frowned, then lowered her head, pressing her moist lips against his.

'What the hell?!' Arkhan's eyes widened.

After what seemed like ten minutes, their lips finally separated, a thin string of saliva connecting their lips.

"Hahh, a bit cooler now, but still not enough..."

Nidhogg reached out with her delicate hands, attempting to remove Arkhan's armor. After several failed attempts, frustration grew on her face.

The Key of Domination that was used as his armor seemed to be angry as it started to twist and distorted.

Arkhan's mouth twitched; he knew things were about to get really complicated if this continued.

"Sorry, Nidhogg."

A crimson feather fell from the sky, landing on Nidhogg's head. She whimpered, and soon, her body went limp, falling into Arkhan's embrace. Her eyes were closed as she slipped into unconsciousness.

He removed his cloak and carefully wrapped her naked body.

"Artoria Pendragon!" Arkhan shouted in a strict tone while standing up.

"Well..." Thrud pointed at the wide-open door. "Lady Artoria has already run away."

"..."
