11 Reuniting with an old friend

Eschios pov:

The first thing I did when I woke up, was to bathe, then stay at my home, the Temple of Selene, and roll around while doing nothing.

My sisters, thankfully, noticed my need for peace and left me alone. Hooray.

Well, I'm free from my stalker, Apollo. It can't hurt to have some free-time-relaxation for myself.

Mother brought me delicious food every day, which was good. She seemed to be much more caring and protective of me now.

Once, I fell off my bed, and she entered my room with a dragon. A friggin dragon. Not being able to help me when I was suffering must have pained her a lot, since she's never been this protective.

Also, my patron god is now Apollo, like how it was decided when he stopped chasing me. Feeling the power of Apollo in me was quite disturbing, but I got used to it after some time.

Apollo being my patron also gave me many benefits.

I was now stronger when the sun was up, like a power-up of some sort, and any type of poison could not inflict harm on me. I don't know about Hydra's poison, though. Creatures affiliated with the sun could not any more hurt me, as I found out when Uncle Helios' horses accidentally breathed fire on me. I also became more profound in music, poetry, and medical knowledge.

The sun god Apollo did not bother me anymore, but instead helped me with various things, like energy refills when I'm below the sunlight. He seems to want to turn my image of him into a better one, but it's not working. My trauma won't be healed, no matter what happens.

It took me months to convince mother to let me out, but my persistence was worth it. Being outside while not having to look out for anything was very enjoyable.

...Until people started to worship me as a hero

"Mr. Eschios! Please kill this monster!"

"Sir Eschios! Those beasts are ruining our crops! Please help us!"

Heracles has to take care of his family, Theseus is too young, Caenis is too cruel, and Castor of the Dioscuri hates humans. There were no other heroes to turn to other than me, Eschios. Because of that, I had to kill so many of those demonic beasts.

I don't even know how many demonic beasts I've killed anymore... Let me rest, damn it. I think I've wiped out almost all of the beasts in Greece by now. I've also killed the Empousa, whose abilities I was perfectly immune to.

Well, thanks to my help, many towns and cities welcomed me, even though I wore my scary armor and mask. Although they welcomed me, I always rejected the invites to the banquet. Can't have more people seeing my face.

Anyways, that's it for what happened recently. What am I doing right now? Running to see my dear friend Heracles. While I was running for my life, he got laid and started a family. I'm going to go to his house and give him a bit of a slap for breaking our bro code.

Well, the real reason is that I need to check on his family. There's been no news about Heracles going crazy and killing his wife and children, so that means that Hera didn't have him go crazy yet.

Even if I can't stop Heracles from going insane, I'll at least try to save his family.

And... here I am. Huh, it's a nice house. Beautiful garden, a nice design, and a large size.

Knocking on the door, I cleared my throat and shouted for Heracles.

"Heracles, come out or I'm going kick down the door!"

But the one who opened the door wasn't Heracles, but seven little kids, who seemed to be at the age of only four. They must be the children of Heracles.

"Well, hello there, kids, I'm uncle Eschi-"

"WAHHHHHHHHHH~!"

"FATHER! THERE'S A SCARY MONSTER!! HELP!"

Guys?

The kids started to cry when they saw me with my scary-looking armor, mask, and cloak. Uh... what should I do...? I can't take off my mask now, but having these kids cry like this, It's a bit...

And just as I was thinking of a way to calm them down, I felt a violent look coming my way, and dodged a gigantic club being thrown at me.

Wow, so this is the welcome I get, huh?

And along came Heracles, swinging his club at me with full force. Wow, and boy he looks bigger. Does he ever not stop growing?

Dodging all of his attacks, I called out to him.

"Hey, hey! Calm down, this is Eschios!"

"Eschios?"

"Yeah, it's me, dumba$s. This is the welcome I get as a visitor?"

"Sorry…"

Apologizing, Heracles took me inside his house, his children clinging to his sides, still scared of me.

I imagined a future with me being their cool uncle, but that was just a dream, it seems.

After being introduced to his wife, Megara, I talked to Heracles in private and asked him how he was doing, if anything was wrong, etc. Also, it seems Megara was pregnant with their eighth child, so I congratulated them. Heracles already got married and had children while me, Jason, Asclepius, and Castor were still single as of now...

I feel betrayed as a member of the single-men squad.

After those questions, I asked the most important question.

"Do you want to go on a journey with me? You know, have some free time off from your duties as a husband, and just enjoy nature. We can also do some heroic things "

With the excuse of a journey for fun, I'll drag Heracles away from his family, so that a curse on him won't be affected. And to protect his family, I will ask my sisters to take care of them as guardians. My sisters may be silly and weird sometimes, but they're all goddesses who are each very powerful.

However, my offer was rejected. Well, it was expected that he would reject the offer. His children are all very young, and his wife is pregnant with an eighth one. If I was in his position, I would do the same, too.

So I had to use the B-plan, which was to have my sisters watch over Heracles and report to me if he starts acting weird. Since they are goddesses, their speed are incredible, although slower than me. It'll take around few minutes for them to reach me if I'm far away, so I'll have to run as fast as I can to Heracles' house after.

After chatting with him for a few minutes, I said goodbye to him and his family and went on, but not before getting my nephews those good old puppies as pets. Nice, cool uncle title achieved.

After visiting Heracles, I again did various requests people asked of me, like how I did in some of my memories of my previous life when playing a game called Skyrim.

All of the requests were pretty easy, and I was getting bored until I got some challenging requests which fueled my excitement.

The request to kill the Clazomonian sow and the Crommyonian sow. This is going to be interesting.

Here begins my Skyrim life

A/N: Alright, time to introduce Eschios' first Noble Phantasm

*{Concealment of Beauty}

Rank: A

It is the Noble phantasm made by Hephaestus to hide Eschios' beauty.

The mask, armor, and cloak Eschios received conceals his beauty, as well as his entire status as a servant when wearing it.

The cloak can also allow Eschios to shapeshifter when he wants to, with his mask helping him to imitate the voice.

The armor gives Eschios immunity to any attacks below C-rank, and to the attacks above the C-rank, it reduces the damage by 30%.

For EX ranks, the damage is reduced to 10%.

However, it has its downside, as it randomly lowers one of Eschios' status by one rank, like A+ rank Endurance to A-rank Endurance
