7 chapter 7

Remy left Jeanne's house and stopped for a moment to take a deep breath before starting to run towards his own house. He was determined to improve his body as much as possible and was dedicated to his daily exercise routine. Quickly, he reached his house.

Upon entering, he noticed that the door was damaged and the thatched roof had some cracks. Without being deterred since he was used to his house, Remy went to the floor and started doing push-ups, as he had done the night before. He was determined to surpass his previous record of 7 push-ups. With each repetition, he felt his strength increasing and his determination strengthening. After a few sets, he finally managed to do 10 consecutive push-ups. Satisfied, he got up and started doing push-ups on the floor again.

Remy was determined to reach his goal of doing 30 push-ups, even though his muscles were already a bit tired and sore from previous infections. He continued, despite the fatigue and pain, striving to do his best with each repetition.

At the end of his workout, Remy was all sweaty and out of breath, lying on the floor to rest. As he regained his breath, he thought about new ways to train and challenge his body, considering the possibility of starting to practice some kind of weapon fighting style.

However, he quickly realized that his options were limited, as the only weapons available to him were hoes and sickles, fieldwork tools that were within his reach. Nevertheless, Remy did not let himself be discouraged and continued to look for ways to push his limits, readily accepting the challenge of finding new ways to train and evolve.

With his body covered in sweat after his intense workout, Remy got up from the floor and decided to continue his physical effort, heading towards the lake, which was illuminated only by the moonlight, as night had fallen.

Determined to work on his legs, Remy started running around the lake, feeling the night breeze on his face as he focused on his movements. As he ran, he pondered how he could make his legs even stronger and more agile.

That's when he had an idea: to tie rocks to his legs to increase resistance and muscle strength. Remy believed that this challenge would help him push himself and reach new levels of endurance and speed.

Although the idea of tying rocks to his legs seemed promising, Remy realized that he did not have a rope or any other way to properly secure the rocks. He decided to postpone this idea for another time and focus on other forms of training.

After finishing the run around the lake, Remy was completely sweaty and exhausted. He felt satisfied with the physical effort he had made and realized that he had reached his limits of endurance and speed at that moment.

He decided to take a shower to refresh himself and regain his energy. As he washed, he thought about new challenges to add to his daily exercise routine and ways to improve his body and mind.

After the shower, Remy felt renewed and energized. He realized that he was becoming increasingly determined to push his own limits and consistently reach his goals.

With that in mind, he decided to continue practicing his daily exercises with dedication and perseverance, always seeking ways to challenge his body and mind to grow and evolve.

After the shower, Remy felt tired and decided to rest to recover his energy. He headed to his house and lay down on his bed, letting his body completely relax.

As he rested, Remy thought of a way to train with a weapon, and remembered that he had seen some martial arts movies that involved the use of weapons like spears and swords.

He didn't have access to real weapons, but he thought about getting a stick to practice and simulate the movement of a spear or sword. He thought this would be an effective way to work on his coordination, agility, and strength, as well as being a challenging activity.

Remy has no previous experience with this specific task. He will base his next steps on his observation of some videos and movies that depict similar situations. Although he cannot be sure that his approach will be successful, he is willing to try because he is determined to reach the peak of his potential and achieve his goals. He is aware that this will require a significant effort from his body, as he is preparing to face more intense challenges in the near future.

Remy opened his eyes slowly, still sleepy. He felt something poking his face, and when he looked up, he saw Jeanne, with a radiant smile on her face.

"Wake up, Remy! The sun is shining outside, and today is a perfect day for you to teach me!" exclaimed Jeanne, jumping excitedly on the grass bed.

"Easy, Jeanne, I just woke up." Remy spoke still drowsy, but Jeanne, being too excited, grabbed his hand and pulled him, and Remy was surprised by it. He almost fell, but Jeanne managed to hold him.

"Easy, Jeanne, I just woke up," said Remy in a drowsy voice when Jeanne pulled him excitedly. He almost fell, but Jeanne managed to hold him. "Sorry, I'm just excited," said Jeanne, feeling bad for almost hurting Remy because of her excitement. Remy, however, understood Jeanne's excitement and said, "Okay, let's go." They left Remy's house together.

"How about we race each other?" suggested Remy to Jeanne, who responded enthusiastically, "Okay, but know that I can run until here without getting tired once. Don't fall behind!" Jeanne let out a cute giggle, and her blue eyes shone with excitement. She felt her blood boiling with energy.

"You should be the one worrying," replied Remy, infected by Jeanne's excitement. He spoke confidently, knowing that he wasn't sure if he would win, but was curious to see the result of his training of only two days. Even if it was a short time, Remy was certain that he had improved in a surreal way.

Remy positioned himself with his legs spread shoulder-width apart, with his feet firmly planted on the ground and his arms stretched out in front of him. He placed both hands on the ground, aligning them with his shoulders and leaving his fingers well supported. With his right leg back, Remy left it extended and supported on the toe, while his left leg was bent, bringing it close to his belly.

Jeanne, surprised by Remy's attitude, imitated his movements with skill. She also placed both hands on the ground, supporting them in the same alignment as Remy, with her right leg back, extended, and supported on the toe. Her left leg, like Remy's, was bent and brought close to her belly.

"I'm ready. I'm not going to lose, hehehehe," said Jeanne, confident in her ability. She let out a cute giggle, keeping her gaze fixed on Remy. He, in turn, responded with the same confidence: "I say the same thing. Let's see who falls behind." They then agreed to start the race, and both looked forward, ready for the competition.

"When I say let's go, we're going," Remy said to Jeanne by his side. Jeanne nodded in agreement, feeling her fingers in the ground. Remy let out a sigh and glanced out of the corner of his eye at Jeanne, who was eagerly smiling to begin. Although he felt a bit sad about what was likely to happen, Remy didn't show it on his face.

Remy had some knowledge about Jeanne d'Arc's story in Fate, but only vaguely remembered the beginning of her journey. He knew, however, that something terrible was destined to happen to her. Although Remy wanted to help Jeanne's parents, he knew his chances of being taken seriously were almost nonexistent because he was just a child. He pondered about telling them what he knew, but hesitated to do anything that could lead to accusations of witchcraft and death. Remy didn't want to be burned at the stake or horribly tortured, and so remained silent, keeping his knowledge to himself. He felt powerless and frustrated, but knew he couldn't do anything but wait and see how things would unfold for Jeanne and her family.

The weather was calm, with the wind gently swaying the nearby grass. Remy's red hair swayed softly, while Jeanne's golden hair also moved with the breeze. The birds' singing could be heard, and the sun was high in the sky. Both were quite determined to see who would win.

When a bird flew by in the sky, Remy shouted, "Now!" The two began to run at the same time, causing the earth beneath their feet to fly into the air.
