Chapter - 3: Oni Kind

But the abilities seemed very useful especially "Death Resistant Body" and "Eroded detachment" which could be used both defense and in support although the latter was yet to be fully clarified, especially the part that said he can link his life force on another living individual...
He could not help but wonder if it also worked on beings stronger than himself for example, Shinigami or even the Kishin... It was definitely an ability he needed to do some test to be more confident....
And then there was the last ability "Ancestral Return" which in theory should be the last card to play when you're cornered or something like that. Especially in a way like that where you were basically getting kicked out for fear that you can turn into another Kishin.
But honestly speaking Kazuya was going to immediately use this ability to transform into an Oni.... Why? From what he remembered there are many ways in which Oni blood can manifest as a special power, so basically another free ability in addition of course to having all one's physical characteristics enhanced!
In addition it had the item magic known as Holy lock and there were really too many advantages to do it now instead of waiting for a fight an epic fight... Really too much shōnen and cliche!
So without waiting another second Kazuya activated the skill in question as he could feel the air pressure around him getting hotter and hotter as a blood-red mist formed around him.
Kazuya felt all his human blood consumed and replaced with something warmer and stronger, even his features changed: his hair and eyes became red as a result.

She has this attitude. Kazuya merely shrugged his shoulders, before turning and facing the stone slab, "To use your power, I have to smash this stone into a thousand pieces. Sounds like a good deal," he said, touching the stone slab and channeling his wavelength into it.
A small gold/black orb leaked out from the destruction of the slab and was immediately picked up by Depore, who was immediately absorbed into herself as the girl now appeared in armor that made her look like a true warrior goddess from the legends.
Depore flew to hug Kazuya's neck as if they were lovers in a past life or something "I like you ~ ❤️ Scents of death and destruction ~❤️❤️," Depore said in a flirtatious and seductive tone.
"You are mine, I will not leave you to anyone else ~ ❤️❤️❤️ "

Kazuya felt a sharp pain coming from his right arm as he saw that it was turning black and several mysterious runes were forming. He felt as if Depore had established a bond with him and it was a strange feeling.
"Even though you want to live so long ... you want more power than anyone else," Depore whispered in a gentle tone but full of bitterness.
A bright light enveloped both of them for a few seconds as Kazuya could be seen with his entire arm surrounded by armor and black tattoos covering his upper shoulder. But what was most attractive was definitely the spear in his hands that gave off an ominous feeling.
