Chapter - 1: The Blind Idiot

In a darkened room you could see an average-looking boy with nothing special except obvious weariness. His eyes with large bags under his eyes that were focused on the computer screen.

The boy was looking at the notification just appeared speechless, he had just finished watching an entire anime on his computer, when suddenly this notification appeared.

His name is Kazuya Yagami, a simple student who had dropped out of school as several problems had arisen that caused him much discomfort and frustration. Fortunately with much gratitude to his wealthy family he did not have to worry about money to support himself.

Ever since he could remember, everyone had begun to avoid him like the plague for reasons he could not understand. This trend had continued even in high school so far. It was not as if he was horribly deformed, part of an infamous group, or had a terrible personality....

He was a simple person or at least that was how he wanted to be and no one was going to stop him from this goal!

He did not know exactly when his curse began as he liked to call it. During elementary school and before, he had no problem socializing with others and making friends.

Somehow, something in him was repelling people, but he could not for the life of him figure out what. Whenever he tried to approach someone for an explanation, they would apologize in panic and take their leave as quickly as possible.

He had gotten used to such reactions and spent most of his free time alone after almost five years, but the way he was treated was so frustrating and unfair that he sometimes felt like throwing a tantrum. Or set something on fire.

A sour expression appeared on Kazuya's face as he thought about his "uniqueness" and the fact that perhaps there was some truth in what others were saying about him.

Once he started school, his "special ability," as he called it, had led to all kinds of rumors flying about him. Most of the students (and even some of the teachers) had labeled him a scary delinquent, others had claimed that he was a member of the yakuza, and some odd ones had insisted that he was possessed by the devil.

His stellar academic record and impeccable behavior had caused most of the rumors to die down after a couple of months, but there were several students on campus who still believed them.

Eventually the situation had become too frustrating to continue, and he decided after careful consideration to screw it all up and enjoy a life simply as a recluse and get over being seen as he wasn't...

"This is... a joke, right?" stated Kazuya aloud in an incredulous tone with a very confused expression on his face.

Thinking about the possibility that this was not a dream or some kind of joke, he tried to play dumb: after all, he didn't give a damn about the notification "Fuck no, I love my simple life!"

When Kazuya read this, his face turned pale and his hands were shaking uncontrollably. "Fuck no! Every thing but not this shit again! I'm done with the Gacha!!" Kazuya said shouting trying to do something to stop him with no results, even trying to turn off the electricity he kept working eventually helpless and sat back in the chair with no life in his eyes.

Kazuya, looking at the system, thought, "Maybe I went too far, it's not so bad if it allows me to choose a quiet and peaceful world to go to" Before he could finish speaking, he saw a notification that sent chills all over his body.

"Fuck! I hate you already, you shitty system," Kazuya said aloud, hoping that those controlling the system would hear him. As if his hopes had come true, a message appeared in front of his eyes making he whole body tremble.

All Kazuya could do was to look at the writing with a hopeless look now completely defeated, happily waiting for the end to come to get rid of this shitty system!

When the system count expired blood began to spill in large quantities from the screen, until it gushed out covering the entire screen and floor while the red color covered his entire view without Kazuya being able to do anything to stop it.

The red color began to take hold of him and the darkness itself around him began to move like a thick dark glue, making him feel a very sinister, but for some reason very familiar feeling that he had never felt before.

Suddenly Kazuya felt his entire body fatigue and could not help but feel helpless as darkness physically invaded his body and slowly consumed him making him feel that familiar feeling again, but also a horrible aberrant sensation that overwhelmed him creating an illusion of drowning, then just darkness..
