CHAPTER 10 Broken glasses and homes
Meanwhile, Brie opened her senior sister's room without knocking and entered ready to fight because he felt as if her sister was treating her as a child. She found out that Morgan wasn't around and went around the rooms looking for her. While walking around and yelling, she realized that her room door was slightly open and immediately went to close it while looking around as if she was hiding something. Before closing the door, she noticed that someone was standing in her room.
Her heart immediately skipped a beat as she realize that it was her sister who stood in front of her mirror frozen. She realized that she has been caught and tried to silently reverse her footsteps. She was going backward in the quietest way ever.
Almost about to complete her escape, she heard her sister's voice in an angry but calm tone ''Where do you think you are going?'' she asked. Brie realizing that she has been caught came forward and giggled nervously while scratching the scalp of her head. She then replied saying, I'm sorry sis I was just bored and this ended up happening. Bored?Bored? Are you even hearing your dumb self? You single-handedly tormented hundreds of humans all because you were bored? I am tired of your childish and irresponsible behavior. You had the audacity to steal Mom's mirror in order to do this too. You must be going mad.No you are the one going insane over here Brie replied. We can just end this situation by taking the mirror back to Mom's room and that's it but noooo you just want to prove that you are a big sister by yelling and saying all these unnecessary words. Morgan continued Brie you are in big trouble and you are there thinking all this can be fixed with you returning the mirror? Yes, that's exactly what I said Brie says as she walks towards the mirror. She then picks it up and starts walking away.
Morgan sees this and gets infuriated. What kind of sense do you possess this is the most foolish thing I've seen so far in my years of staying alive. While speaking she realizes that Brie was still not listening so she held one side of the mirror and pulled it back causing Brie to halt. Look at me when I'm talking to you little girl because you know nothing about the consequences of the mirror you could get…..She didn't finish her sentence because she noticed the mirror slipping from her hands in just a split second. Brie had angrily pulled the mirror while saying ''DON'T YOU EVER CALL ME A LITTLE GIRL!'' and in the next second the mirror was shattered on the ground. Both girls froze for a second and then Morgan, looking like she had smoke coming out of her ear started to yell at her sister. At this point, Morgan was very angry at her little sister and Brie knew. so she calmly said….I'm sorry and left the room. A confused and shocked Morgan wasn't expecting that at all. In fact, she was expecting them to get serious at this point and fight like never before.
