1 Insane

After cutting Gilgamesh arm, his Reality Marble crumbles, for he doesn't have any more prana to spare.

They returned to the temple, where Gilgamesh stands few meters away in front of him, missing an arm.

Emiya Shirou couldn't stop a groan escape from his throat as he kneel from exhaustion.

His body was screaming in agony for pushing it to the limits. Every miniscule movement hurts. His mind slowly processed what had happened to him after the intense battle.

He had fought the Golden Jerk, and won. And he finally realised his Reality Marble, though without Rin's prana he never could've done it.

Then suddenly, a black hole appears in the cut off part of the Arrogant King, taking him inside.

"W-what are you doing!? How dare you take me in you wretch!"

Shirou was taken aback from the sudden turn of events. But he's grateful for it

"A hole... The Grail?"

As you watch him get eaten by the grail, suddenly you see the Chains of Heaven speeding towards you, latching to your arm.

"T-this sick abomination! Doesn't it know... a fellow Servant can't be made its core!?"

Gilgamesh is trying to survive using him as an anchor. But it won't matter. He let himself get drag into the grail with him.

"Y-you... FAAAAKEEEERRR!!!"

You heared him scream for the last time as you let yourself get eaten by a mass of darkness, and lost consciousness.

He had to get up.

He had to search for his target, Gilgamesh.

He had to find out exactly what had happened and why he was still alive.

So he pushed himself despite the pain of his body.

"Ugh..."

His body protested as he will to move every ounce of his strength.

The first thing he did after he woke up is to check if Gilgamesh is dead.

After searching for a while, he was glad and worried at the same time that Gilgamesh is nowhere to be found. Is he dead? Or alive? Questions for later.

He tried regained his bearings, then focused on his surroundings.

What he saw was not what he was expecting.

He was in the middle of a ruined architecture, lush with green moss and vines, indicating its an old building.

The design of said buiding is... like from Medieval? Futuristic? Maybe both but... Cartoonish? Fantasy?

It should've been impossible. There's no way a sane man will build this kind of structure.

But that really isn't the main problem right now. What really caught his attention was the sky.

There's two suns in the sky... Right next to each other.

There is only one single, logical conclusion he made after the astrological evidence up in the sky.

He wasn't in the Earth anymore.

Somehow, he got hurled into a new world and drop him somewhere in the ruins of great civilization and he had no idea where his foe was or how he will go back home.

That's it. This is now officially one of the worst day of his life. And he still has a piece of shrapnel impaled through his spine.

He had it worse before, especially when he fought Archer. In that fight his body was burning, his muscles and nerves felt like ripping apart.

He push himself beyond the breaking point just to proved his ideals were not wrong, and not giving in to the future cynical asshole version of himself.

But he couldn't relax just yet. He needs to confirm something if Gilgamesh is still alive.

"Yo dot. What are you doing here dot?" He steeled his mind and turn around quickly from the unfamiliar voice behind him to see nothing.

He then looked lower and found himself blinking in disbelief as he began to wonder if he was hallucinating from exhaustion.

It was a penguin. An honest to god penguin.

As long as he remembered, blue penguin does not exist. Especially a stuff toy looking penguin with a satchel around its waist.

"Are you okay dot?" he was now questioning his hearing and sanity as he heard, once again, the penguin talk to him, until the pain he had been ignoring was too much for him as he was close to falling to the ground.

"I guess it was a dumb question dot." the penguin, or creature said once more as he now falling to the ground fast, unable to control his body.

"I'll just take you to a place where you can rest dot." he found himself frowning at that as the penguin catch his body. Then it begins to lift his body above his head much to his surprise.

As he watch the ruined structures move further away from him, he began to wonder what kind of place is this as he starts losing his consciousness, again.

The penguin, or the Prinny, began to wonder what happened to the human he is lifting right now.

Did he get into a fight? "No, of course he was you dumb dot." the perks of being dumb is really irritating.

What was he fighting? Who was he fighting? Did he win? Did he killed his opponent? So many questions, but he does not really care, he just need to help him, for that was his job.

"I wonder..."

But he really was bored though, their destination is still far. Hopefully they will get there before the night strikes.

The Prinny is now near in the humble hut of his Master. Before he can get closer however, the door of the house suddenly opened.

"What takes you so long Prinny?" his master asked him as he slowly walk towards the house.

"I found an injured person in the ruined buildings Master dot." Prinny said as he waits for his Master's command.

"Oh, put him in the bed first so I can heal him."

"Yes Master dot." Prinny said as his Master walks towards the guestroom, following him.

"A human huh. How peculiar." he said as he wonders why a human suddenly appears in the Netherworld, where demons lived.
