Chapter 13. She

"I'm just a killer of the gods who happened to be passing through" - Scathach

*****

February 1997 was colder than usual. Snow covered the ground like a blanket, shrouding the trees and roofs of houses. A full moon hung in the sky, greeting all the inhabitants of her world. Who knows if it was a good thing?

Not only was it snowing in the courtyard of Emiah's house, but there was some rather amusing dialogue.

- You are horrible!

- Don't act like a child.

- No! You are my worst dream! How could you burn all my grass?

- It's nothing personal, it's business.

This dialogue was heard for the third day in a row. Lucy was rolling around on the floor like a little child, screaming hysterically at Sora. And it all started with the fact that the stupid cat thought the idea of storing his goods in Emiya's house was a good one. But did he consider Taiga's EX-rank of luck? No. And only a miracle saved Sora from the most embarrassing situation possible when his older sister finds the room completely full of marijuana. Of course, after that, our protagonist decided to take revenge on the feline, so he burned all his crops, also found some rainy day supplies, which were also disposed of.

- You destroyed everything! Do you have any idea how long it took me to grow all this?

- Now, get out of my way. - Before Lucy could continue his drama, Sora interrupted him.

At the moment, the young magician was drawing a magical circle on the floor. If before he had drawn simple geometric shapes, now he had to make special magical inscriptions, which required a lot of concentration. Complicating matters was that the circle itself had to be drawn with his own blood. Had Sora summoned the devil? Well, that depends on how you look at it. "Culann's dog" would answer loudly, "Yes!"

It had been exactly a month since Kiritsugu's death. Sora and Taiga tried in their own way to heal their "wounds. Under the pretext of looking after Sora, Taiga went to live at Emiya's house. But, how did it turn out? Living with Sora, she doesn't cook or clean, but only eats, sleeps, and staggers around the house. Even so, Sora appreciates her company and is happy taking care of her.

What did our main character do? What he always did, he persisted. Having found Kiritsugu's diary, he plunged himself headlong into the new world of wars for the Holy Grail. Certainly it is pointless and dangerous to simply study any Magic, but his father has left an unresolved matter, namely to bring Illya back. But to do so he must become stronger, much stronger.

Perfectly remembering his helplessness in the battle against Jubstaheit, Sora finally decided to take up the task of learning the Magic of his Element - Limitless. What a pity that he could not teach his Elemental in the usual way. After all, it often goes like this: knowing his Element, the Mage would begin to learn the Magic already discovered by someone else, and then, if he wished, he would bring his Magic - Element to the limit himself.

Now, pay attention to the question, "How do you study Limitless?"

The Element determines which magic the Mage excels in, but if no such Magic existed before today, then the Element, no matter how strong it seems, is useless. The solution to this problem found Sora herself, namely the summoning of the Heroic Spirit. If you don't know yourself, find a teacher, and who better to teach Sora than a legendary hero?

Having caught fire for this idea, Sora had two problems to solve: how to replace the Holy Grail in the process of summoning a servant, and what servant to summon?

Let's start with the Holy Grail, which is the gateway leading to the Origin and the Throne of Heroes. In the entire process of summoning servants, the Holy Grail plays the most important role. First, he accumulates enough mana to summon the Servants. Then it chooses the appropriate Mages for the role of master, they in turn perform the summoning ritual, where the Grail works as a liaison, opening the way to the Throne of Heroes and allowing the chosen Heroic Spirit to materialize in the material world.

Sora needed to replace the Grail with something strong enough to open the gate to the Throne of Heroes. His Inner World was the choice; it is isolated from the outside world, but it can be used as a receptacle for the energy needed to summon servants. Besides, the Inner World was already filled with all sorts of energy generated by the Soul of the Creator Larva.

The next thing needed was a way to connect to the Throne of Heroes. That is, simply filling the summoning circle with energy was pointless. A catalyst had to be used that would allow one to contact Akashi and consequently open the gateway to the Throne of Heroes. The choice fell on the Origin of Sora, the Void. This Origin was incredibly strongly connected to Akashi and will serve as a good guide. For this reason, Sora draws the circle of summoning with blood, for it is surprisingly strongly connected to the Magician's Origin.

And so, we have a constructed process for summoning servants without the Grail. Of course, it's untested, incredibly dangerous, and generally presumptuous to think that this is how to replace something that's been created by generations of Mages. But the protagonist did it, and he is narrative causality.

When he finished drawing the circle, Sora was able to exhale. He modeled the summoning circle many times with [All Equation Solving Method] and came to the conclusion that in order to summon the servant he needed, he had to rewrite all the inscriptions in Celtic, and besides, the fact that he drew the circle with blood helped too.

- It's not bad, but it's worse than mine... *Gah* - Lucie twitched in pain, unable to react in time to the stone.

- I have great accuracy and a strong arm, Lucy. - A smile crept across Sora's face. That cat, he brightened up the time nicely.

Rising from his squat, Sora nodded contentedly, looking at his creation. Now, there was one last step left: summoning the servant by means of chanting. In Sora's case, any mistake in chanting could lead to the summoning of some chthonic creature, or worse, an In-World God. Becoming much more serious, the protagonist stretched his arms above the magic circle and sang an aria.

The light armor, the impossible speed,

A spear that cannot be dodged...

The first words of the aria came out of the young mage's mouth. The circle began to pulsate, barely visible, evenly from the incoming Mana.

Someone who simply cannot be defeated,

The enemy won't have time to touch him.

The wind rose in the courtyard, and the air around Sora began to fill with a haze of magical energy that only grew thicker and bulkier.

The one who meets her enemies with a spear,

And a hail of blows to shower upon them,

Connecting her Inner World with the summoning ritual, a huge stream of Mana erupted, and if it weren't for the magical barrier that guarded the house, all the Mages in the city would have noticed it. And not just the Mages.

I am ready to accept you as a Servant,

As the Master who concludes the contract.

Far away, in unknown space, a star shone. As if to mark its awakening, it flashed brightly with golden light.

The howls of the winds are fierce.

The gate to the crown is guarded by a wall.

These lines were personally created by Sora, symbolizing a barrier and protection, they should maximally secure the "channel" that connects the material world and the Throne of Heroes. A protective mechanism of sorts.

The Tangled Way - The Last Resort.

Will show me the true path to the kingdom.

Aimed, a beam shot out of the Throne of Heroes, beyond the control of space and time, it connected two worlds: the material one in the courtyard of Emiya's house and the mystical Throne of Heroes. At the same moment, the storm of magical energy raged around Sora.

We shall walk the path of battle together,

We will meet our opponents and engage in battle.

The runes and blood that made up the magic circle seemed to weave together. And in the unknown space a "key" was formed, carrying the concept of death, runes, and blood. There were a couple of Heroic Spirits who could answer the call, but one Soul was much more interested in it.

We shall make them all admit their defeat,

And death will be their common fate.

A grave chill spread through the neighborhood. The shadows seemed to come alive and reach for the magic circle. The world itself, as if to greet this Heroic Spirit. And the moon in the sky turned scarlet, the color of blood, for a moment.

But that's for later, and before that, the contract,

It has not yet been made.

Well, Lancer, will you agree to the pact?

Answer the call, and then we'll begin.

The magic circle flashed brightly and all the past effects were gone in an instant. The contrast made it feel like they were the only ones left in the world. Sora and She.

- Are you the one who summoned me?

These words were spoken by the most beautiful woman Sora had ever seen. Her long, silky purple hair cascaded behind her back. Her red eyes, serene and deep as the surface of a lake. Glittering with dignity and arrogance, those eyes drew not only the gaze but also the soul.

The woman's figure was tall, shapely, and full in all the right places. The lovely, graceful and sexy body was accentuated by her clothing, which consisted of a full suit of royal purple color with gold linings. The tight clothing presented her sensual body in all its splendor, but at the same time covered it tightly.

Sora didn't know how to properly describe her style. Bold and unrestrained or aristocratic and modest. But, he knew for sure, those thighs were gorgeous.

- I ask again, are you the one who called me?
