They welcomed him though he is still sure he heard the comment of his magic circuits not being the best even if they have better quality than average.

After She left, Cael went to the library of the department. Getting books on the basics of mage craft and magic circuits.

As he paid heavily along with being a magus with potential, he got a dorm in the Clock Tower, which is the maximum privilege he can get.

After a day of research, he found what he wanted.

Essentially, anyone with magic circuits can have 3 basic abilities.

Converting Od/Mana into prana.

Calculation.

Cael knows those exists but doesn't know how to perform these abilities.

It took him a short time to master them.

Any magic circuits passively convert Od into Prana but channeling Mana from the outside world efficiently takes time.

He successfully learned to channel mana from the world into his magic circuits which concerts it into Prana and learned how to use his magic circuits as a calculator and store data.

For the next several months, Cael attended classes in the Department of general fundamentals.

There's a lot of data one needs to know about magecraft and science to perform even the basic magecraft.

Cael spent most of his time studying most of the library using his circuits to store the information and slowly sending it to his brain to remember them for a long time.

He faced less discrimination than expected due to his name being unique and he doesn't look and feel completely like a Japanese.

After a few months, he finally found the information he needed.

After rotating his ring which turned into Gold color.

Cael opened his magic circuits and sure enough, he found something that should not be known to anyone.

His face revealed a broad smile while he thought.

' My magical circuits are actually 100 and this quality, it is just the best. This should produce a sh*t tonne of Prana. The ring is suppressing my power by 10 times'

Cael is not surprised by the information. It actually makes sense since the ring did reincarnate him, he theorized it is absorbing his Od when it is in silver color. While it is in gold color, it is not absorbing anymore.

However, having 100 best quality magic circuits that release so much prana means he cannot carelessly absorb mana from the world. He has to use Od to not let others know about his prana reserves.

Or else, he knows he will be kidnapped by a magus or hunted by the clock tower who will use him in obscene ways defiling his body and soul in a workshop.

Another good thing about the ring is, it is actually concealing his prana felt by reality. Because he can feel an aura-like feeling when someone activated their magic circuits but not his as his ring is concealing his aura. He can feel it.

'It's almost like the ring is protecting me deliberately... It's too suspicious'

Cael is suspicious of his actual background. Having a name as an angel and divine offspring in the normal world is one thing but even in this world his name followed him and he's an orphan in both worlds.

After his discovery, Cael continued his studies in the Department of General Fundamentals trying to create a 'Thaumatergical foundation' to connect to his circuits. He already has the basic foundation of the Clock tower which is not enough for him.

He continued to amass the knowledge in the library, it's basic, nothing groundbreaking is in there but with enough knowledge and his experiments. He believes he could enact mysteries or magecraft. His Genius intellect and Best quality magic circuits only make it easier for him.

It took him 2 years to create the best thaumaturgical foundation for himself factoring everything like his Origin, element, star alignment, his personal experience, and finally the world.

After that all it took is a few months, He mastered reinforcement magecraft, projection mage craft, mental interference mage craft, and healing mage craft.

Although, Unlike Archer Emiya, he learned the projection mage craft just to use it as a hologram projector for his future experiments.

He also sends his semen to Belerona as per the contract monthly once it is completed but he still stayed in touch with her.

Due to being busy with his personal research, he didn't stand out much but he did stay a top student when attending yearly exams on Leylines and other basics.

The teachers after learning that he is Asian didn't try to interact with him that much due to their noble heritage which also teaches them to be the best racists there are along with being magus.

Generally, students are supposed to be trained for 3-4 years depending on their caliber and ability in the department of general fundamentals.

The best students only stay for three years among them is Cael.

Professor Armstrong began his speech once he is sure everyone are there.

"Now that your general understanding of magecraft is done. You should join a department depending on the mage craft you want to study. You also have offers from some departments. But remember, even if you did join them, you are still not members of the association until you display your abilities. All the best"

Cael is not surprised to see his name but what really did surprise him is the name he saw on the one who is willing to give him an offer.
