19 Chapter 19 - Summoning in Chaldea

The group of Master's and Servants had reached the summoning room where the six of them saw Roman and two of the staff working there. The three occupants turned and looked at them as Roman smiled at them.

"Great. You guys are here. Mash, place you shield in the middle there to help with the summoning." Roman said to her with a smile.

"Understood." Mash said with a nod before she went and placed her shield in the middle.

"So, how do we do this? Do I do the same as before?" Felix asked the man as he looked at him.

"You don't need to do that much. Use these Saint Quartz to summon them." Roman said as he held out quite a lot of them in his hand.

"These are?" Felix asked as he looked at them.

Oh he knew what they were but he wanted to know what they meant in the world of mages so he decided to act oblivious.

"These are Saint Quartz, usually they are not that easily formed but due to the singularity we managed to get a number of them. They are made from greatly condensed and can be used to compensate for the large mana reserves needed to do summonings. Mash here is the one who collected them whenever she encountered them." Roman said with a smile as he looked at Mash.

"You were collecting them?" Felix asked her surprised.

"Yes, doctor said that we would need it so I made sure to take every single one that I came across." Mash said to him with a nod as she blushed a bit.

"Thanks for the help Mash. I'll also help next time." Felix said with a nod as he smiled at her.

"I would appreciate it Master." Mash said with a smile on her face.

Olga looked between the two of them at that, Medusa, Medea and Roman were also doing the same as they looked at the two.

"Okay, so shall we start?" Felix said as he turned to the doctor.

"Yes yes. Put three Saint Quartz in here and place your hand there and call for the Servant. The summoning system will start the summoning. However, the system is different from the standard summoning so whether a Servant will appear or not will depend on if they wish to be summoned or not." Roman said to him with a smile.

"So basically, the decision upto the Servants to be summoned or not." Felix said to him as the doctor nodded.

"Alright then. I'll start." Felix said as he took 9 Saint Quartz.

He went to the machine and put one in it before he activated it. The bands of light formed from the shield as they watched the process as they covered and a pillar of light formed as the group watched. Mash, Medea, Medusa and Da Vinci all got ready in case the Servant was hostile.

They managed to see a silhouette as they looked at it before the pillar dimmed down for them to see who it is as their eyes widened.

"...I have come in response to your summon." The Servant said as she looked at them.

"Saber Alter." Felix said as he looked at the masked Servant.

'Okay I wasn't expecting her to answer my summons.' Felix thought to himself as he looked at her.

He felt his command spells burning a bit as he looked at his hand and saw the glowing as he understood that she has become his Servant.

Saber Alter looked around and then at him when she felt the connection between them as she turned her body to fully face him.

"Are you the one who is to be my Master?" Saber Alter asked him as she looked at him.

"Uh yeah, I am your Master." Felix said as he showed her his command spells.

"I see. It is good to have you as my Master and ally this time." Artoria Alter said to him as his eyes widened in surprise.

He wasn't the only one as the others were also surprised when they heard her.

"You... You remember what happened in the singularity?" Olga asked her shocked.

"Of course. That was an event which had happened in a singularity. Perhaps due to its unique conditions I still retained my memories of it." Artoria Alter said to her with a nod.

"I guess it's plausible considering the uniqueness of the singularities. Well, at the very least, you're willing to help us." Roman said with a smile as he looked at her.

"I shall give my aid but only told by my Master. I am a King above all, do you understand?" Artoria Alter said as she looked at Roman.

The others felt a pressure from her as Roman, Olga and the staff and Servants gulped from it as the doctor nodded to her. After he did that the pressure disappeared.

"Are you about to summon more Servants?" Artoria asked her as she looked at her Master.

"Yeah, I thought I should give it a try at the least." Felix said to her with a shrug.

"I see." Artoria said as she walked out of the summoning circle.

She went and stood beside Felix as the others watched her but didn't say anything. Felix eyes her for a moment before he put another 3 Saint Quartz and started the machine as the same process happened. The group were briefly blinded by the flash of light before they started to see a silhouette.

The pillar of light died down and they could see the Servant as the eyes of the group who went to Fuyuki widened when they saw who it is.

"Oh..." Felix simply said when he saw the Servant.

The Servant summoned was none other than Medusa Alter who opened her eyes and looked at the people in front of her before her eyes landed on Olga and Mash. She immediately threw her chains at them as Mash dodged one while Olga ducked under it while Medusa deflected them, Medea flew into the air while Da Vinci jumped away.

However the Alter Servant attacked all five of them at once as Mash dodged it, Medea created a barrier, Medusa and Da Vinci dodged them while Olga was wide eyed before she moved.

"Not fine! This is not fine!" Olga screamed in fear as she ducked as a pair of chain shot over them.

Another pair of chains then wrapped around them and revealed the second pair to belong to Medusa.

"Well, the director is spooked." Felix said as he looked at the scene with a sweatdrop alongside Mash and Medea.

"I'm so dead." Roman said as he cried at the sight of the Servant.

"I think you'll be fine." Artoria Alter said to him.

"ROMANIIII!" Olga shouted in anger as she glared at him as the man gulped in fear.

"Nope, I'm dead." Roman said with certainty when he heard the director.

"Saber, can you stop her quickly." Felix asked his newest Servant as he looked at her.

"Of course Master." Saber Alter said to him with a nod.

As for Medusa Alter she was about to attack again before she felt a presence as she looked to her right. Her eyes widened when she saw Saber zooming towards her as she attacked with her scythe. But Saber expertly deflected it and pointed the tip of her blade at her neck.

"Stand down. You answered his summons. Why do you actually like this?" Artoria Alter asked her seriously.

"I am just angry about how I was defeated in the singularity. But I didn't expect her to be here as well." Medusa Alter said as she looked at Medusa.

"Whatever it may be. You are now his Servant so you will do well to not cause any problems for our Master." Artoria Alter said to her seriously.

Medusa Alter looked at her before she sighed and her chains returned to her side as the others relaxed. Saber removed her sword from her neck as the Medusa Alter turned to look at Felix.

"Sorry for the display Master. I have answered your summons and am now your Servant." Medusa Alter said to him seriously.

"Yeah. Uh, glad to have you here. Just make sure not to attack anyone here." Felix said to her with a nod.

"Fine." Medusa Alter said to him as she walked out of the circle following Artoria.

The two Alter Servants stood beside their Master as Roman decided to keep his distance while the other five met with him while the staff looked at the newly summoned Servant wearily.

"Ah Director, are you—" Roman asked as he looked at her.

Only for her to hit him above the head as his head jerked down in response as she looked at him angrily.

"Don't speak to me." Olga said angrily as she turned away from him.

"Okay." Roman said as he held his head while the others looked at the pair.

"Alright, here we go." Felix said as he put the last three in and started the summoning.

The same bands of light appeared and converged to form a pillar as the group watched. Soon another silhouette appeared though this time the man seemed to be quite large as the eyes of the group widened.

'Is that Heracles?' Those who went to and were from the Fuyuki singularity thought as they saw the silhouette.

'Wait a minute, that silhouette... It's him?!' Felix thought to himself shocked as he saw the man.

Soon the light died down as the group were now able to see the newly summoned Servant though those from Fuyuki were surprised since it wasn't Heracles who had been summoned. Felix meanwhile looked at the man with wide eyes as the Servant looked towards him and smiled.

"Oh, you have done well to summon me!

Iskandar, King of Conquerors, shall carve out your path!" The newly summoned Servant proclaimed with a large smile on his face.
