Prologue: A New Start (So Original.......)

The last thing I remember is feeling pain in my entire being, my body, my organs, all of it, was a simple guy going back home after buying groceries, after that I started to have a series of respiratory spasms, my parents call the doctors and the result was that a got a pandemic sickness. Never felt so powerless in my life, it was so sickening you know?

I keep up with it for 6 months until a couldn't resist it anymore, in the end, I lose my consciousness, so that's it.

if I have to talk a little about me then I live 17 years, this year was supposed to be my final year of high school so I could move to university, graduate and get a job, so f***in close.

like it or not well I'm dead nothing I can do about it nut my situation right now is kinda weird you see.

????: Hello, Welcome to EdenTraveler how may I help you?

MC: huh?

Yep, I'm right now in some white building, I can see a garden in the outside and a clear sky as well. In front of me, there is a lady in a suit sitting in a chair working in her PC in her office desk

????: hmm, excuse me?

MC: Oh right sorry but I don't know how I get here so I don't know what to say

????: I see, Excuse me but can you place your hand here?

The lady press a button in her desk and a screen appear on its surface, after thinking a little I then place my hand on the screen and a sound comes from the PC.

*bing*

????: Ah, I see, pardon me for the wait can you please follow me?

MC: Eh? why?

????: You have an appointment, sir, please this way

After that the lady stands up and tells me to follow her passing through a 2 meters white door at the left side of the wall behind her, I just go along to see where this gets me.

We keep on walking through a white hallway, I can see paints of a beautiful garden and another of an enormous ship in the oceans, there's also some windows witch I can see outside to see a clear white beach and the ocean.

After a while, we went to another set of doors to get into an elevator, and the lady presses the top button.

MC: Excuse me but who is waiting for me?

????: The director of the company of course

MC: Of course? sorry but I don't get it, why would the director want to talk to me?

????: Well I cannot say any more than what I have said so please bear whit this until we arrive

after that, no conversation for the next 10 minutes, this building is stupidly high, I mean 10 minutes to the top floor? really?

We came out of the elevator to see another pair of white doors but different than the others, this ones seems to be doors to a temple, the type you see in a cathedral

????: Please follow me

I just nodded and follow her, inside, we stand in front of what I can call a white humanoids figure, it doesn't have a face or anything, is just a white figure similar to a stickman but chubby and the head doesn't have a hole

????: good job Eris, thank you for leading him here

Eris: Just part of the job Director there is nothing to thank me for

the director nodded then started talking to me

????: Good evening, I'm sure that you have many questions but please take a seat, I will answer your questions

As it said that, a table and three chairs paper, there also a tea set there.

????: Will you like some tea, its valerian tea, good for the

MC: Ah yes thank you but can you tell what am I doing here?

The lady, Eris, serves the tea in the three cus and the white figure put its hand in its chin? in a thinking pose

????: Before that let me take a more comfortable form for you

the white figure snapped its fingers and then started shining. After a while, it subsides to show a face that I recognize, mainly from movies

MC: ....Morgan Freeman!?

Director: Huh... So you to get this face then

MC: What do you mean

Director: Most if not all of the people I have attended in the last 6 months have gotten this face after I transformed, it seems that Mr. Morgan Freeman is the form all of them, including you, recognize as gods personification.

MC:.....God?

Directo: that's correct..... of course, I am not the god present in the holy bible, I am the god in charge of reincarnation

MC:...Ok? then am I going to get reincarnated?.....WAIT!? DID I SERIOUSLY DIED!?

Director: Hmm? Yep, your dead, no question about it, I mean you should already know that.

MC: Well I somehow had the idea but I mean I'm here talking to you, and I don't have a halo, I have my legs so I thought that was something like a dream?

Director: nope, you died, the same way as many others the last 6 months you see.

MC: the pandemic?

Director: Yup, thousands of souls have come here because of it and we have to constantly keep working to attend each soul that comes here, keeping us busy.

the director shows a tired face, Eris shows it to.

MC: I see, then what's going to happen now, to me at least.

Director: Well let me explain. many of the souls that died due to this tend to go directly to the afterlife, most but not all and you are an example, this happens when a person dies before their time, so they come here to get to their second life and that's what's going to happen to you.

Every word the director said was stuck in my head, "dying before their time", "Second Life", it seems that I am gonna get reincarnated.

MC: So where am I going now?

Director: Very well. Eris please can you bring the world box?

Eris: At once Director

Eris stands up and leaves the room through the doors witch we came before.

MC: Lottery box?

Director: Yes, you see there are as many different worlds as there are stars in the universe, and to decide which world you will be sent, we use a poetry box.

MC: isn't easier to just ask me what world to go?

Director: Sorry but that's impossible, only the souls whose fate has been altered by the gods themselves can choose a specific world, souls that just died before there time by the actions of men only get the lottery box.

After that Eris comes with a box as big as an adult head that has a hole at the top.

Director: Please take one of the papers that are inside the box, each of the papers is one of the worlds witches you can reincarnate in

I nodded then put my hand into the box and pull the first paper that I reach, in it, it was written "First World: Fate/Grand Order"

Director: Excellent with this your destination have been chosen, now please follow Eris to the next room for your preparations.

whit a snap of his fingers a big blue double door appears.

Eris: Please follow me

MC: Ok, Thank you for this director.

Director: there is nothing to thank me for just go on and I hope you enjoy your next life.

With that a go through the doors and into another white hallway following Eris..... Now that I think about it I haven't said anything about her, have I? Well, Eris is a beautiful woman with good proportions, long silvery hair, and blue eyes, having a delicate and beautiful face that showed me a hint of melancholy when we first met. She wears a dark blue suit topical of an office lady.

Eris: Here we are.

Eris stops in front of a grey door with the sign "System Center". Inside of the room is similar to a laboratory that I use to watch ina cartoon when I was small, even the bigass the screen is here (Dexter´s Laboratory), then Eris, starts calling someone.

Eris: Chris, come here!

Chris: Hmmm? Big Sis? What is it? I'm kinda busy right now

The one that comes after calling her is another woman similar to Eris, the only fiscal different between them is that Chris has shorter hair than Eris

Chris: Hmm? is that today's client?

Eris: Yes, now, i belive you already know what to do then

Chris: Yeah, yeah I know, hey you come here, I'm gonna give you your system

MC: System?

Chris: Yeah, your system, don't you know where you are right now?

Eris: The system center is where individuals like yourself come to prepare for their new life, that is by receiving systems.

Chris: the systems are different from person to person and each one has a different advantage or gift to grant to their wilders, and that's what you are gonna get here.

MC: I see, ok what do I do

Right after I said that, Chris took out from one of her labcoat pocket, a remote controller with a single red button, and press it

mechanical sound were heard through out the entire laboratory and the ground beside us open revealing a red chair with a cylindrical object at its right side(AN: I really suck at describing things so jus imagine the animus from assassins creed Ezio trilogy)

Chris: Ok, put this helmet on and sit down

Chris gave me a helmet that i can describe only as a Nervegear from SAO, then i sit down

Eris: Very well, I will return to my post, i hope you enjoy your next live.

MC: Ok Thanks for everythijng

After that Eris left the room leaving only me and Chris while she is connecting the helmet to the computer

Chris: Ok, all set, you will start getting tired after starting so just sleep, when you wake up you will be in your new body and in your new world.

Chris started the machine and drowzzines hit me instantly, relaxing just like Chris said, i fell sleep.

Well, a little cliche but, new life here i go
