3 The First Order [Part 3]

"And that's the structure of Chaldea," Romani finished with a small sigh.

I learned a little bit more about Chaldea's internal structure but will that even amount to anything? Seeing that the Saboteur will be calling in any moment from now.

"It was built 6000 meters above sea level in the mountains, with a basement workshop-"

A ringing sound suddenly came to life in the room as Romani looked at his band, tapping it.

[From Lev Lainur

Sound Only]

"Hey, Lev," Romani said, casually.

"Romani, Rayshift will begin shortly," Lev said, "Would you come here just in case?"

"Did something happen?" Romani asked.

"Team A is ready but Team B and the rest are having small abnormality issues with some of the rookies," Lev replied.

"Then I'll anesthetize them," Romani said.

"Hurry," He said, "You're in the medical office right? You should be able to get here in two minutes,"

"Okay," Romani said.

"Don't be late," Lev finished and hung up.

Romani sighed.

"It won't hurt to be a little late then," Romani said and looked around searching for his companion but he didn't find me.

"I guess he left," Romani said.

They had been talking and I used that perfect opportunity to leave and get on the elevator. Now all I had to do was get to the Control room, save Mash and Olga from the explosion and then enter the first singularity.

The door of the Elevator opened and I found myself in the control room once again, I sighted Olga's figure. Her hands on her voluptuous waist as she glared at the Cadets that were entering the Spiritron machines, or that's what I think they are called.

"Don't you dare fal-"

Olga couldn't finish what she was saying as I put her over my shoulder.

"What are you doing!" She screamed out.

"Saving your life," I said and started running, the explosion was going to happen any moment now.

I looked to the stands above and saw Lev, his expression depicting horror. I couldn't help but flash him a playful smile.

'Activate Sprint!'

A bright blue aura burst to life beneath my feet and I felt my speed increase thirty fold. In mere seconds, I was at the Elevator entrance which was a considerable distance away from the bomb…

Right as I reached the elevator, The entire room lit up, a brilliant red explosion filling the entire place in the next moment.

Tiles pulled off the ground, the containers where the Masters were kept were burned as well. In short, everything was disaster.

- 3rd Person Pov -

Olga stared at the former Control room, her eyes shaky as she observed every little detail. Her heart pounded in her chest as she stared at the wreckage from the back of the same commoner who she had kicked out.

"Is the view great or what?" Fujimaru joked and Olga couldn't help but stare at him.

The way he carried her made her unable to see his face, only his back but the question sent vibrations through her veins.

"Are you insane?!" She asked but Fujimaru didn't reply.

Instead he let out a low chuckle.

"You know I was supposed to be in my room," Fujimaru said, "But, I came all the way here to save you and this is the way you treat me, huh? You make me regret coming here,"

Olga's eyes spun, blinded with rage. He was teasing her…

"You noticed one thing though, That bomb was planted right beneath your feet," Fujimaru said, "This whole thing was a Sabotage and who better to blame than the Engineer who created it,"

"It's not Lev!" Olga shouted.

"Oh, So supportive," Fujimaru teased, "Well as you can see, Even the Elevator was shaken upon the explosion and Lev should have been affected, Please check all over and see if you'll recover his body,"

Olga was silenced at once, She wanted to refute but she didn't have the strength to.

Could Lev be the one that did this? No!!!

"It's not him," She muttered.

'Emergency Alert, Fires have broken out in the central power plant and control room!'

"Central power plant?" Olga let out, she was surprised.

Suddenly, she was dropped down by Fujimaru who looked a little concerned, not for her wellbeing but for the rabbit-like creature called Fou was calling him.

"Well, I got to go form a contract," Fujimaru said and gave a slight smile to Olga, "Let's continue this talk next time,"

And as a parting gift, He gave her a peck on the cheek.

"That's if you live," Fujimaru said and suddenly ran off with Fou, leaving her confused and blushing as well.

"Mash!" I called out as I rummaged through the destroyed room, lifting big debris with a single hand.

Mash's safety was important, I could have grabbed her too but alas I didn't quite see her before I grabbed Olga Animusphere.

Fou ran and I followed, soon we found her… pinned to the ground by a huge debris.

"Senpai?" Mash muttered lowly as she stared at me.

"Mash, hang in there. I'm coming to help you," I said and rushed to her, ignoring the flames around the room.

"No, That's…"

The other half of her body was under the huge wreckage, blood had slowly started to flow from her wound.

I walked to the wreckage and steadied my hands under it, ignoring the little heat that seemed to grace my palms.

With a little grunt, I lifted it and threw it aside… a big smash vibrating through the room upon impact with the ground.

"Are you hurt?" I asked while squatting next to her, the wound wasn't that bad just along her waist… Advanced healing should be able to do the trick.

A bright glow covered my palms and a brilliant white aura covered Mash's body, the wound slowly closed as the skin mended itself. It was really helpful to have Healing magic.

After the wound healed, I helped her sit up and Mash gave me a thankful nod. Although her body had been healed, Her mind was not saved from the near death experience as she trembled.

"Thank you, Senpai," Mash said.

"Anything for you, Mash," I said while stroking her pink hair, something that I found rather cute seeing her reaction.

"Senpai, Your hand," Mash said.

I gave her my hand with a bright smile as she took hold of it, It was only a matter of time now.

The room began to vibrate.

'Resetting Contact with suitable designee number 48…'

'Starting Unsummon Program'

Debris and pieces of the wreckage fell from the air but my gaze didn't leave Mash for a moment.

Author's Note:

And that's the Rayshift people! I saved Olga Animusphere as I trust her with the Chaldea Security Organization more than I trust Romani…
