4 Chapter 4

Gilgamesh sat on his couch as he browsed the modern day internet while randomly buying shares of companies. He didn't care which one as he had randomly tapped on the screen. But then again Golden Rule made sure he would never go broke and only more wealth would find him.

Gilgamesh felt a disturbance as his eyes gazed over the city taking in every single detail as he saw the two girls fight. Gilgamesh sighed as he went to stop the senseless murdering in his city.

Asagami Fujino laid on the ground as she prepared to die. Her grim reaper stood above her as the knife slowly came closer. Shiki quickly leapt back as a golden sword found itself lodged in the ground before fading away into gold particles.

Shiki looked at the blonde haired boy that had appeared next to her. Fujino called out weakly as Gilgamesh glanced at her in the corner of his eye before shaking his head. "I see. You have a huge misunderstanding mongrel though not like it changes the fact that they should've died."

Shiki looked at Gilgamesh "Who really are you and why are you protecting her? She's a murderer." Gilgamesh stared at her before chuckling "Oh right not many people would recognise me in this form. And it was my judgment to kill the first few although I don't condemn her for chasing after the other one in revenge despite the misunderstanding."

"You fool, This girl is under the protection of Gilgamesh the King of Heroes!"

"Do not think of even trying to use your eyes against me."

Shiki had hear about this phenomenon "Servant" she whispered until Gilgamesh started laughing "Fool, I have incarnated in my true physical body, mongrel. I simply made myself younger to blend in with the city as I have a few side projects."

Shiki looked at Gilgamesh and the weapons behind him before retreating and leaving the dying Fujino and Gilgamesh there.

"Foolish mongrel, you almost died if I was not here. It seems you had more than just an injury before." Another potion came out this time red in colour. Fujino drank it with laboured breath but soon the pain was gone. Gilgamesh nodded before giving her directions to his apartment along with the key.

"Rejoice mongrel for I've taken more interest in you after this incident."

"I still have some trash to clean in this city."

Touko Aozaki returned to the office with Shiki only to find the blond haired child waiting on an extravagant couch that did not belong to them with Kaita Minato bound, gagged and on the floor. Touko was immediately wary as the child was definitely part of the moonlit world.

Shiki looked at the small child "Gilgamesh." Touko's eyes widened before turning to look at Shiki "That's who you encountered? You're lucky to even be alive!" Gilgamesh looked at the two before demanding their attention.

"I've come to get rid of this filth and to warn you. If any of you are to harbour a criminal or a law breaker I'll personally come to deal with them and you." With out batting an eye a golden ripple formed in the air causing a sword tip to poke through and aim at the man.

Gilgamesh gave the signal as the weapon cleanly sliced the head off as it rolled onto the floor.

Touko looked at the man before sighing "I guess he had it coming. So what are you doing here your majesty?" Gilgamesh got up before opening the door "I was bored so I figured might as well try reaching the qualifications for a Grand Caster when I die. Otherwise I'll figure it out later."

"Mongrel! Where did the ice-cream go?" Fujino quickly came running before informing him "We ran out last night!" Gilgamesh thought for a bit before handing her a wad of cash before attaching a list onto her hand. "Grocery shopping mongrel. I'll reward you for this!" Asagami laughed giggled before heading out of the house while Gilgamesh glared out of the window.

Gilgamesh kept on working and working all the way until his eyes became droopy. His childish body was growing and his work duration was increasing as he was recreating the Fangs of Napishtim. Fujino soon came back as she did something only Enkidu and Siduri would dare to do.

Your majesty you need to rest. Gilgamesh shook his head as he kept on going until Fujino steered him towards a bean bag where he was forced to sit down only to fall asleep immediately.

"Curse this sleeping problem."

As the world faded into darkness.

The city burned, people were dying and screaming everywhere. The dead were everywhere as they tormented the living. Burning buildings tumbled as smog rose into the air. He looked around the fallen city in anger before his eyes laid on the one who would cause this disaster.

Gilgamesh woke up before writing the dream down in a notebook and tossing it onto the desk. Asagami had returned to school and the ice cream was left in the fridge. Gilgamesh sighed as he slaved away again to finish the Fangs of Naphistim today.

4 Years Later:

Asagami Fujino had left for her job and Gilgamesh was bored until he heard of the rarest item in the arcade that was only available in Fuyuki Grand Arcade, his collectors impulse brought him here in which he now stared at three people on guard. One with jewels in hand, one with two blades in hand while the other held an invisible blade in her hands.

Gilgamesh stared at them before asking "Why are you staring at me mongrels? Well all except that Saber." Shirou immediately became confused and asked "May I ask you a question?" Gilgamesh laughed "I permit it boy."

"You are Gilgamesh the King of Heroes right?"

Gilgamesh nodded "Indeed I am and I have never met you unless."

They tensed as his eyes gleamed brighter with a gold hue as seemingly stared into space before laughing and chuckling.

"I see, so that's what happened to you mongrels."

"I apologise on behalf of my younger and more stupid self."

Rin looked at him in confusion. "Younger self?" Gilgamesh nodded "You are familiar with my legend I take it?"

"Then you know the three main stages of myself."

Rin nodded.

"Child you."

"Tyrant you."

'Wait... So you are..."

Gilgamesh grinned.

"You are quick to the uptake mongrel."

"Yes I am the wise king that returned from his journey of immortality!"

"Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes in all his glory. Etch it into your eyes!"

"Fuhahaha!"
