5 Rescuing A Girl

Pushpak Vimana could fly at the speed of light because of the power of Karna but he had slowed it down for the time being.

Karna with his vimana was flying around Earth to get used to Vimana while enjoying the scenery the planet had to offer.

"Ahhh..."

While flying over Japan, Karna heard a cry that sound like coming from a little girl.

He focused his sharp eyes in the direction of the cry to find that in a forest some men are attacking a little black-haired girl. From the looks of it, they weren't normal humans but possessed supernatural powers.

Before the men could hurt her more, Karna flew towards them to save the girl.

"Die!"

Akeno was scared as her grand-uncle Suou was just a moment away from killing her.

Why did she have to go through this? Just because her father was a fallen angel?

She lost her mother at such a tender age and her father was never there for her. And her own family wanted her dead.

Even in the face of death, she didn't want to die but what could a powerless child do?

She prayed, hoping that by some grace of luck, she would be saved.

And her prayers were answered.

Instead of attacking, Suou retreated a few steps back in fear while Akeno was picked up by a strange man in a princess carry.

"Are you all right, young girl?"

The dazzling man asked her in a deep soothing voice that made her feel safe and calm in that dangerous situation.

His was nothing less than perfection as a God of Beauty himself descended on the Earth to save her.

Akeno wanted to reply but her body had no energy left in it. She could only manage to nod slightly before falling asleep knowing full well that she was going to be safe in this foreign man's arms.

"Who are you?"

Suou asked while trying to act threatening.

"I'm Karna. For what reason could you be attacking this girl?"

Karna asked in a domineering voice. Suou and the men with him were quaking in fear because of Karna's aura.

"She is the girl from our clan and had committed a great sin of helping someone with connections with devils. You have nothing to do with this, give her to us and we will return."

Suou tried to reason that this matter had nothing to do with Karna but it only managed to anger him more.

"You are trying to kill a girl from your family for such a small reason?"

Karna was angry beyond words how could they abandon their own for something like that?

"Adityastra!"

Karna said and his eyes brightened with deep red. In an instant, red laser beams appeared out of his eyes ripping the men in front of him.

Adityastra was one of the strongest astra that Karna uses by shooting laser beams from his eyes. With his will, he can control the intensity and power of that beam, currently requiring less power because of a few weak men.

"What the fuck did you do?"

Suou cried in pain. All the men behind him had been killed in an instant while he had his arms obliterated by Karna's lasers.

"I'll be taking her with me. Tell your clan to never think about hurting her. One more word and you will meet the same fate as your accomplice."

Karna declared making Suou freeze in fear. No word left his mouth as he turned around and ran away, not daring to even look back.

Karna was ready to go back to his vimana but stopped as he heard some footsteps.

He saw that the young girl he met before, Rias, was approaching him accompanied by a middle-aged man. The man was wearing a black robe, a fur coat, and a black cap.

"Thank you for saving her, Lord Karna."

Rias came forward and bowed in front of Karna.

"Rias, how come you are here?"

Karna asked.

"This girl had helped someone who was contracted with the Gremory clan. We heard that some men are chasing her from him so we came to rescue her. Though luckily you were already here before we came."

Rias explained.

"The girl seems to be from the Himejima clan but has the scent of a fallen angel. Ah I apologize, I forgot to introduce myself, Lord Karna, I'm Rias' father's bishop, Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa."

The man accompanying Rias said in a respectful tone.

Karna nodded acknowledging him.

"Rias, I have a favor to ask from you."

Karna said to the young redhead.

"Lord Karna, you do not need to be so humble with me."

Rias replied gracefully but she felt excited because Karna was going to ask her for help.

"I have somewhere to go for the time being, till then can you take care of her? I'll pick her back once I'm done with my travel."

Karna asked.

"Sure, why not? I will do it for you."

Rias replied.

So Karna placed Akeno in Rias' care till he was back from his meeting with God Shiva and flew his Vimana to Mount Kailash.

Karna's journey to Mount Kailash was interesting.

The time was distorted around Shiva's Adobe.

Even flying with the speed of light on his vimana, he felt like thousands of years had passed.

But he was determined to meet God Shiva, and soon his wish would be fulfilled.

With a sudden jerk, Karna entered Shiva's domain.

The snowy mountain was immensely beautiful, to say the least.

While he was enjoying the view, he sense great power coming from the peak of a hill. Flying towards that he saw the one he was looking for.

A man with blue skin was meditating on a rug made using tiger skin while his body was covered in the skin of the same animal. His body was covered in ashes and his hair was tied and adorned with a crescent moon. He had three eyes on his face which were closed as the god was meditating. A snake coiled around his neck dark blue neck which hold the most lethal poison, halahala.

He was Shiva, the destroyer.

Karna got off his Vimana and approached the meditating god on his feet. He stood near him silently so as not to disturb him.

After a few minutes, Shiva opened two of his eyes, leaving the third eye on his forehead closed.

"I was expecting you, Hero of Charity."

Shiva said with a gentle smile.
