94 Chapter 90 - Shirou vs Vali

Vali attacking Shirou using a lot of magic bullets which is his favorite attacking technique, but he doesn't use Divine Dividing at all when attacking or flying through the air. Because he want to test how strong he is compared to Shirou without using a Sacred Gear to fight.

All of Vali's attacks couldn't hit Shirou's body at all, because all the magic bullets that Vali fired at him entering the divine gate that Shirou opened, and all the magic bullets that aim at him, immediately returned to Vali at a much higher speed trough the new opened divine gates.

Vali, knew that it was impossible for him to withstand the attack of his own magic bullet which was returned to him at a higher speed. So he flying straight into the air to dodge.

Vali thought that Shirou would run to him using Kanshou and Bakuya to block the magic bullets that he fired at him, but Shirou did something he didn't expect at all. Shirou opened the divine gate to returning the magic bullet he fired to Shirou.

Vali who was floating in the air this time intended to attack Shirou directly from a close range. But Shirou suddenly disappeared from where he was standing and appeared under Vali with a large black bow in his left hand and a pitch-black sword with a few small edges coiling around the thin core, spiraling around it and somewhat curving outward in his right hand.

Vali could sense that the sword in Shirou's right hand was quite dangerous, so before Shirou could shoot the sword with his bow Vali flew away and tried to prepare a much faster attack so Shirou wouldn't have time to open the divine gate to return his attack.

But just as Vali flew away, at that moment Shirou fired 'Hrunting' which he turned into an arrow at Vali. So even if Vali flew to dodge it was all useless in front of Shirou. Because the Hrunting he shoots has properties like a heat seeking missile that will continue to follow its target wherever the target goes.

That's why when Vali thought that Shirou's attack wouldn't hit him, he didn't realize Hrunting was already in front of his eyes.

It was at that moment that the sense of danger he had trained for years came to work. Vali immediately moved quickly to the side to avoid the Hrunting that almost hit his body.

The size of Hrunting that was rushing towards him became smaller and smaller until it turned to a size where Hrunting would no longer be able to injure him.

Cold sweat ran down Vali's cheeks, he didn't expect Shirou to have an attack like that.

"You're really amazing Emiya Shirou you can push me to use the Balance Breaker," Vali said. "It's been a long time since I Vali have a fun fight like this!"

"What's the fun being chased by a sword like that, all people who are crazy about fighting are weird," Shirou said. "And you know that you can just block the Hrunting I shot at you with magic bullets right?"

"I didn't notice it at all because I was surprised that the sword you used as an arrow could follow me like a heat seeking missile," Vali said who felt a bit embarrassed not realizing such a simple thing much faster. "If only I had fought more calmly I wouldn't have needed to use Balance Breaker to stop your attacks."

"Since you've used your Balance-Breaker, then I'll also use the same technique to honor you," Shirou said as he brought out the Boosted Gear in his left hand. "Are you ready Ddraig?"

[Of course Partner!] Ddraig said. [I thought you wouldn't use me at all!]

"My current opponent is Hakuryuukou," Shirou said. "Wouldn't it be more appropriate if I fought him using you who is his eternal rival?"

Shirou automatically entered Balance Breaker mode, and at that moment Shirou's body was covered in red Scale Mail.

"I've been waiting for you to use the Boosted Gear, Emiya Shirou," Vali said who was happy that Shirou had finally used the Boosted Gear. "But why don't you all use the Gate of Babylon?"

But Shirou could easily dodge Vali's attack, by flying through the air using the dragon wings that were part of the Balance Breaker Scale Mail.

Vali continues to attack Shirou by using punches, kicks and even magic bullets and Half Dimensions continuously but because Vali's attack pattern is very simple Shirou can dodge all the attacks launched by Vali. And Shirou had no intention of hitting Vali directly, because if Vali touched his body even a little, it would be very serious consequences.

That's why Shirou attacked Vali using Kanshou and Bakuya. Shirou could have quickly finished his battle against Vali if he had attacked Vali with the dragon slayer sword. But right now he wanted to test how strong he was when he only used Boosted Gear plus Kanshou and Bakuya.

Shirou had to admit that Vali was indeed much stronger than Kokabiel or Bazzet. But Shirou could sense that something was different when he fought Vali. When Vali was about to use Half Dimension which caused Shirou troubled, Shirou flew towards Vali at high speed then kicked Vali right in the stomach using a kick that had been amplified by several boosts, sending his body falling to the ground. High speed moved is a key to defeat Half Dimension, that's what Shirou learn when he almost loses to Vali when Vali using the Half Dimension.

"If the Sacred Gear system worked properly it wouldn't be possible," Azazel said. "The great-grandson of the original lucifer, has the abilities of a heavenly dragon. What a terrible fate."

When Vali heard Shirou's words about the divine program that would repair the Sacred Gear System, it made Vali feel a little anxious. "Shut up!" Vali shouted who was annoyed by Azazel's reaction. "Just answer my question!"

"Sigh, you really are impatient, aren't you," Azazel said. "You don't have to worry Vali, if my analysis is correct, even if the Sacred Gear System returns to normal you won't lose Divine Dividing unless you die."

Vali who had used his Balance Breaker Scale Mail, prepared to absorb Shirou's strength and stamina using 'Divide', earlier he already touched Shirou's foot and it was more than enough for him to weaken Shirou's strength. Actually he didn't want to quickly end his fight with Shirou. But right now he couldn't let Shirou injure his body any more.

All of Shirou's attacks hit Vali's body, making Vali barely able to move his body at all. All the attacks Shirou gave to Vali hit his vital points or acupoints. It was as if Shirou was a very experienced assassin. Vali was currently able to move his body by forcing magic energy to flow into the parts of his body that couldn't be moved and that alone was making his body suffer a lot.

Shirou once again used the boosted Gear, this time his use the boost for eight times, he wouldn't letting Vali attacking him. Since Shirou knew how dangerous the Divine Dividing ability was, Shirou wouldn't give Vali a chance to use his technique.

When Shirou rushed towards Vali and was about to slash his body using Kanshou and Bakuya....

Shirou could feel that the energy he had gathered using the Boosted Gear had disappeared by half.

This time the energy he had gathered disappeared completely coupled with his half magical energy.

'When did Vali touch my body!' Shirou said. 'I'm absolutely sure that he never touched me at all!'

Vali was happy when the energy he sucked from Shirou instantly healed the wounds on his body just by using Divide twice, but once he used Divide on Shirou for the third time he could feel the strangeness of the energy he had just absorbed.

Vali felt like his body was being stabbed by a thousand needles, and he could feel that something was moving inside his body forcing its way out of his skin. And sure enough, a second later, countless blades shot out across Vali's body piercing through the scale mail armor he was currently wearing and forcibly made Vali deactivate his Balance Breaker.

"O-Ohook!" Vali's mouth spit out a lot of blood not only almost from all parts of his body out of the body a lot of blades were bleeding heavily. Vali's internal organs were also injured from the swords causing internal and external bleeding.

If not because of his strong endurance Vali would have died instantly.

"W-What happened!" Vali shouted. "Why can there be swords coming out of my whole body!"

[Vali the energy you sucked from Emiya Shirou, can only be used by himself!] Albion said. [It's a special magic energy themed 'Sword' and because you absorbing it it there are a lot of swords coming out of your body, because the magic energy wants to return to their true 'master'!]

"So that's what you meant earlier Ddraig," Shirou said who didn't know how to react after seeing what happened to Vali. "The basic element of my magic is a sword, that's why as soon as Vali absorbs it my magic energy rejects Vali and tries to come out of Vali's body in the form of a sword."

[That's how it is, that boy should have realized that he can't absorb all the magic energy in this world] Ddraig said. [It seems that Albion is not educating its Partners well]

"Y-you really are full of surprises Emiya Shirou," Vali said with a pale face drained of blood. "I didn't think that Divide would be useless against you!"

"So now what did you want to do Vali?" Asked Shirou. "To keep fighting or you want to give up?"

"Ahahaha neither of them," Vali said. "For now I will retreat and heal my wound!"

Vali took something out from the pocket of his pants and he breaking it.

"Let's meet again later, my rival," Vali said. "Good bye!"

Vali vanished from Kuoh Gakuen, leaving only a traces of blood that came out from his body.

"Tssk he escape using the teleport stone, huh," Shirou said. "What a coward!"

"Look at the positive side Emiya-san, atleast there is no more casualties more than this, and there is no victim at our side," Azazel said. "That was the most important thing right now."

The fight between Vali and Shirou ended in Vali's crushing defeat, due to a sword emerging from within his body.

The seriously injured Vali was escaping using a teleport stones.

Shirou who wasn't hurt in the slightest was standing in front of the old school building along with Azazel whose right arm was wrapped in bandages due to his severe injuries.

"Phew Vali sure is a formidable and troublesome opponent," Shirou said. "If I didn't take him seriously from the start, I could have been badly injured. Luckily he doesn't really know my abilities!"

"I thought that you didn't fight seriously at all because you looked so calm against Vali," Azazel said. "So you seriously fightim him earlier, huh."

"Of course I have to seriously fight him," Shirou said. "He's much tougher than Kokabiel, if I wasn't serious from the start then I would have died."

"Well, Vali is really tough," Kokabiel said "But you are much tougher than Vali the strongest Hakuryuukou!"

"That's because I was able to maximize the use of the Gate of Babylon that I got from God," Shirou said. "If I didn't have the Gate of Babylon, it would be very difficult for me to defeat Vali."
