Chapter 19 - Book 2 Prologue

Rias Gremory just had a very strange dream! She dreamed that she was dating Shirou and then making out with him. And that dream clearly made Rias wake up from her sleep. Rias sat down on her bed breathing heavily, and her face turned red. Rias really confused why Shirou Emiya appear in her dream, her newest member as well as a temporary member of her peerage.

Rias has only known Shirou for about 3 weeks, but for some reason she has been thinking about Shirou all the time lately.

"Why did I dream like that about Emiya-kun," said Rias. "Have I fallen in love with Emiya-kun?"

Rias herself was still confused about whether she liked Shirou or not.

For her Shirou is a mysterious man who have so many mysteries and secrets. With his Longinus class Sacred Gear which is still mysterious the Gate of Babylon, and his fighting ability that like a veteran fighter. Emiya Shirou is really an enigma even for Rias herself. There are still many things Rias doesn't know about Shirou.

But Shirou can be a problem solver for her nightmare. Her engagement to Riser Phoenix, a super pervert on par with Issei who comes from the Phoenix clan one of the 72 pillars of the devil. Previously Rias thought that Issei who has the Boosted Gear would be the savior of her life. But in the 4 weeks after Issei became part of her peerage, Issei's strength had not increased at all. When Issei was fighting a stray devil, what Issei was doing was staring at the chest of the female stray devil they were hunting, instead of helping to fight. The one who finished off the wild demon they fought at night 2 weeks ago was Shirou with his extraordinary fighting abilities. Issei instead cried and got angry to Shirou, after he killed the female stray devil.

Issei's behavior that night was really embarrassing for Rias. All Issei thought about was his libido and not his task. Because of that Rias punished Issei and scolded him all out.

And Rias punished Issei to cleaning the entire old school building for 3 months. After that night, Rias really regret her decision for making Issei a part of her peerage. Instead of getting a strong Longinus class Sacred Gear user what Rias got was a super pervert with a libido that seemed like has no limits.

Luckily Rias got a new reliable member, Asia Argento. A former nun from the Vatican with a Twilight Healing Sacred Gear. Although Asia is also the same as Shirou, a temporary member of her peerage. But at least Asia is much more useful than Issei who hasn't contributed anything to the Gremory group.

"The only useful thing Issei does for me is to bring Emiya-kun to me," said Rias. "But the rest of Issei is really a useless pervert, well I'll give him a little more chance, if by the end of the year he doesn't contribute anything to me, I'll get him out of my group! "

After thinking for a while, Rias lay back down on her bed and tried to fall asleep once again.

Emiya's residence, Illya's room.

"Shirou-san has magic power way beyond you Illya-san," said Ruby.

"Whaaaaaah!" Shouted Illya. "How is that possible, Onii-chan is just an ordinary human right!"

"No Illya, Onii-chan is not an ordinary human," Kuro said. "I can feel the same power as me in Onii-chan's body for this past 3 weeks."

"Onii-chan has the same power that you have Kuro?" Illya said. "But how is that possible! There is only one Archer card, right!"

"That's what makes Kuro-san and I confused Illya-san," said Ruby. "Where did Shirou-san get that power!"

"Onii-chan became weird about 3 weeks ago," said Illya. "And Kuro sensed that Onii-chan had a same power as her about 3 weeks ago too. Did something happen to Onii-chan at that time? "

"Maybe," said Ruby. "But I can feel that Emiya-san isn't possessed by anything, or that there is a change in his physique. The only thing that changes is the quantity and quality of his magical energy."

"I suspected that Onii-chan was hiding something from all of us," Kuro said. "And I think this all has to do with the second club he just joined."

"The second club Onii-chan joined is the Occult research club," Illya said. "Onii-chan, who has never been interested in supernatural things, has suddenly joined the Occult research club. That's a very suspicious thing, right?"

"Really suspicious," Ruby said. "Everything is clearly connected!"

"Then what should we do next?" Kuro asked. "Do we have to follow Onii-chan secretly to find out what activities Onii-chan is doing in that club."

"If we do that and get caught by Onii-chan he will be disappointed in us and we will get scolded all out!" Answer Yes.

"Then what should we do, Illya!" Kuro said. "I'm really curious about what happened to Onii-chan!"

"How about you put me in Asia-san's bag?" Ruby said. "Asia-san lives in this room with you two right now and she just started studying at Kuoh and joined the Occult research club, If you two put me in Asia-san's bag, I can keep an eye on what the two of them do in the club secretly! "

"Great idea Ruby!" Illya said. "Incidentally Rin-san said we both do not need to serve as magical girls for a while. The timing is really right!"

"Your plan is brilliant Ruby!" Kuro said. "With that plan we can find out what Onii-chan is doing!"

Rias is relieved to have Shirou as a member of her group and Illya and Kuro who are suspicious of Shirou. More bad luck and misfortune would soon come upon Emiya Shirou.
