Back in his home, Raiden called a number, it was a secret number that no one knew he had, it was one of the numbers given to him by Savage to call if he wished to discuss their deal

"I didn't expect you to call the number, does this mean you plan to back out from our deal ?" spoke Savage on the phone, Raiden didn't even entertain him with a reply and said, "Did you know ?"

"Oh? You mean what Amanda Waller and the Vice president pulled on you? Yes I did know" replied Savage, with brutal honesty "And Did you know that an extinction-level threat was about to emerge?"

"Trigon…Yes we are aware of him, but the light has ways of dealing with such enemies" said Savage, this enraged Raiden who said "Don't bullshit me, I know what the Light is capable of, defeating Trigon is not possible right now"

"Perhaps, but we have a partner that can deal with such problems for us, the Light is much bigger than you think," said Savage, Raiden sat down on a chair and said "Millions would've died either way, and you were willing to allow that, weren't you" Savage's reply was simple and precise "Yes, Humanity evolves when it goes through dire situations, such as the loss of millions to a demon, The Light's goal is worth more than those lives"

"You make me sick, but I'm not calling you to discuss your shitty morals, our deal, I didn't get much out of it, so I'll be calling in for a favor, give me …"

Raiden entered a dimly lit room, in the room there were two chairs, one had a woman, and the other had a man, both of them looked like highly positioned people in the government just from their expensive clothes, Raiden ignored the man and went directly to the woman, he removed her hood and the tape on her mouth, the woman opened her eyes, and looked at Raiden, saying "I had a Feeling It was you, no one can do that much damage to my squad that fast"

"Do you know why you're here Amanda ?" asked Raiden, as he started dragging a chair, he placed it in front of her, and sitting in the opposite direction of the chair, he leaned at the back of it with his hands awaiting her answer

"I assume this is revenge for what happened last time? It's foolish of you really, you should've killed me immediately Raiden Kagawa, in my body there are trackers so the D.E.O should already be sending Alpha and Beta squads to retrieve me, alive or dead, there's also voice recorders inside me as well, the content recorded is set to be sent to the Vice-President the moment my heart stops" hearing Amada speak those words with a smirk, Raiden sighed as he got up from the chair and went to the man, removing his hood, the man started muffling, attempting to scream, but the tape was still on his mouth

"Vice-President Harden! ARE YOU INSANE RAIDEN KAGAWA! This will make you the enemy of the United States! Hell, the entire world !" Screamed Amanda as soon as she saw the president tied up next to her

"A thousand people Amanda, you sacrificed a thousand people, for what? Killing me ?" said Raiden, as he looked directly at Amanda, Amanda Narrowed her eyes saying "What are you talking about? I have done no such thing"

"I see you're still worried about the recording inside your body…Well don't worry about that" said Raiden as he pulled something from his pocket, it was a bunch of implants that Amanda had placed on her body, the trackers and Recorder, he then crushed them in his hands saying "I took these out hours ago, and if you're wondering why you didn't feel any pain, well it's because I already healed you"

Amanda knew that he was telling the truth, she looked at the implants dropped on the flour and recognized them instantly

"it was your fault, you posed too much of a threat to the safety of the world, a variable that doesn't care about the government or the Justice League, you declared it yourself! Remember? we had to take you down, even if we were to sacrifice a thousand souls, it was worth it, for the greater good" 

"The Greater Good? would that be my death? you almost let an Inter-dimensional Demon escape! all because of you! He was sealed and you unleashed him!" said Raiden, as he looked at her with disgust and anger, to which Amanda said "We had a perfect plan to deal with him! Enchantress was going to kill the Woman YOU brought out! Raven was a threat! A threat that you protected! She was the only one capable of letting that demon out! with her death, we could have saved Millions!"

Hearing that Raiden narrowed his eyes saying "You think you outplayed Trigon, don't you? Did you think a second Rate Witch was good enough to outplay a demon that had conquered countless Dimensions? Trigon knew about your plans you stupid bitch! he knew that you were going to use Enchantress to try to kill Raven, and he knew Raven was going to win, in the first place, bringing Raven back to his realm was the biggest mistake! the outcome of their battle didn't matter to Trigon, Had Enchantress killed Raven, he would have used Enchantress to conquer Earth! the moment you brought him back from the Void, you had failed humanity! because of you! millions of people would've died!" 

"Don't blame this shit on me! it's because of you and your powers! we did this because you were a threat! Because you can't be controlled! you're the one who went live to the world and announced that you are above the league and the government! we had to do everything we could to take you down!" spoke Amanda with spite, hearing that, Raiden realized that this woman was a lost cause, as he asked, "Where did you get a thousand souls?"

"From prisons, we amassed prisoners and sacrificed them to Trigon, and don't try to play every life deserves a second chance bullshit with me, you would've done the same!" Replied Amanda, this prompted Raiden to ask "And ? did they all deserve death? were they all murderers and rapists?" 

"We were pressed for time, we got as much as we could, as long as they were in prison, and had no family outside, even if they were thieves and crooks, they had failed their country before, so why not use them to save it, it should be an honor!" 

feeling disgusted, Raiden placed the duct tape back on her mouth whilst saying "That's the difference between us Amanda, I don't kill randomly, I only kill those that are beyond redemption, you could argue, who am I to judge? but then again, I am the only one qualified to judge, because I'm not normal, there are hundreds of Heroes inside my mind, people who served this planet, as Kings, rulers, and its heroes and saviors, who's a better judge than them?"

he then walked towards the vice president and removed his tape, Raiden then sat down and said "And what about you? Amanda had a grudge against me, and she's a ruthless bitch that would do anything to kill me, regardless of the moral spectrum, but you Vice-President Harden, I never expected this from you to the world you're known as the right-hand man to the most peaceful president the United States has ever seen, you advocate for peace and human rights, but now here you are, an accomplice in the murder of a thousand Inmates, and the release of a World threatening Demon" 

"Now that I'm here, my death is probably confirmed huh? I overestimated you, Raiden Kagawa, I never thought that you would be so reckless as to kidnap the Vice-President of the United States, kill me or not, the whole world will consider you a criminal; the justice league will be after you, and you will either be killed or chased away for all eternity, you're a fool" 

"Answer my question. what kind of problem did you have with me, that you went as far as to approve this damned mission! and what about Ms.Prisedent? Did she know about this?" asked Raiden again, to which Harden sighed and said "You're a threat to my country, that's it, that foolish of a woman would have never approved this mission, she's too damn naive! she thinks playing hero with the world is the right way, and tries to appease the heroes! I don't look around us, Hundreds of alien species that we discovered less than a century ago, are more advanced than us, both in technology and military, yet here we are playing peace? we rely on vigilantes to keep the world safe! those damned power idiots in the Justice League should've been slaves to us, if we had control over them, do you know how long it'd take for the whole planet to bend down? we could have united Earth!"

"That still doesn't explain your problem with me? I want to protect this world the same way as you do, I even called out the Reach and declared to the universe that I'm here to protect Earth! so what was your reason for trying to kill me" said Raiden, confused as to why this man tried so hard to kill him 

"Because you are my promotion, had you died, I would have been the one that spearheaded the defeat of a monster, even the justice League couldn't kill, elections are a year away, the public would've voted for me, not that damned weak pathetic woman of a president!" spoke the Vice president with spite, to which Raiden laughed saying "Weak Pathetic Woman of a president huh? aren't you one of the most advocate supporters of the feminist movement? ironic, Anyways, looks like my job here is done, just so you know, I have no plans to kill you two, although you deserve it, it won't be me that will judge you, it will be the people, I recorded everything"

"YOU FOOL! Do you think Congress will allow for this? do you know how many friends I have in journalism? no one will release this, they'd be suspended and banned in seconds! NO ONE WILL BELIEVE YOU!"

"There you have it folks! Our own Vice president! A THREAT! To the nation, the man we had trusted! and believed in! almost cause the DEATH OF MILLIONS! The Justice League? ABSENT! President Elizabeth Ross-Forbes? ABSENT! If not for the HERO Raiden Kagawa! none of this would have been discovered! we would've still believed in the fairy tale that our government officials care for us!" spoke the TV presenter G. Gordon Godfrey, on TV after showing the recording that Raiden had, this was Raiden's favor from the Light, The Justice League Knew that the Light had Gordon in their pockets, and using that knowledge, Raiden called in for his favor

"A Team of Villains! The threat of a Demon! and the vice President's dream of tyrannical World domination! these are all things that were revealed today" said Gordon as he then used a remote to show another video

"You thought we were don't didn't you? NO! We have more footage! This is a video showing the TRUE Hero! Raiden Kagawa! A man that doesn't Hide behind a mask might I add! Saving us from this Demon Trigon, after this footage, you too will understand, what this Monster of a Vice-President was about to unleash on us!"
