"Merlin ? Are you kidding? You too can just pop out of my System?!!" said Raiden as he stared at Merlin, Merlin laughed a bit saying "Oh no, I'm actually alive you see, I've always been alive, living in the land of Avalon, or to be more precise trapped there!"

"if you're alive than how did you become a servant that day? A grand one at that" asked Raiden, Merlin smiled saying "Well it's not that difficult to trick the summoning system to be honest! I've done this multiple times to summon myself! It needed a grand caster, one that could handle the situation in the best way possible, Solomon was too strong and dangerous, especially as a grand, so it chose me!"

"That still doesn't explain why you're here now?" said Raiden, Merlin pointed at Scáthach and said "I'm here because of her, since you were able to make a Master&Servant contract with her, you should be able to do the same with me" hearing that Raiden narrowed his eyes in suspicion saying "and what do you gain out of that? You said you were alive, so why the hell would you want disadvantageous contract like that"

"Oh yes, it is interesting that you doubt me, but it's also the right thing, I actually am alive, but you see, I'm unable to leave the tower of Avalon, I was trapped there, I can make illusions to walk the earth, but in reality, I've never left the tower ever since my entrapment, even now, I'm still stuck there"

Thinking through it a bit, Raiden looked at the two servants saying "I suppose you guys have the same problem huh, one was stuck in the land of the shadows while the other in the tower of Avalon, living life fully, but trapped in a place where no one can get to you, since that's the case, I don't mind giving you a contract Merlin, let us start"

Everyone in the Watchtower turned to the teleportation voice, seeing him emerge from there was shocking to all of them, the person they had tried to fight just recently, ended up destroying a moon sized satellite, what if they went too far, what would have happened

"Raiden! Thanks!" breaking the silence, it was Nightwing who said those words, following up after him was Connor Saying "Yeah Raiden, Thanks, that was great work, you even saved me from a beating"

More and more of his older team mates thanked him, and then it turned into the entire league thanking him, this proved that Raiden has gotten the trust of the league fully, perhaps it was fear, but at the end of the day, it didn't matter to Raiden, as long as he doesn't have to focus on protecting his back, and instead aim at the enemies of Gaia

"Raiden Kagawa" spoke a voice behind Raiden, Raiden had a frowned upon hearing that voice, as he turned around "Captain Atom"

Atom put his hands on Raiden's shoulder saying "Thank you" he then turned around and as he was about to leave said "After the celebration, come to the meeting room, the President wishes to have a talk with you" Raiden nodded his head in approval

Raiden then found Nightwing and pulled him to the side saying "So, about that thing, we're doing it right?" hearing Raiden's words Nightwing opened his eyes saying "What?! Now? We just had a war!"

"What are you guys talking about?" said a Voice behind Nightwing, it was Connor, Nightwing was about to dismiss the whole thing, but Connor said "And don't even think about leaving me out of this like the Kaldur news!"

"He's right you know, I'm glad you at least told them" with both Raiden and Connor Trapping him, Nightwing conceded saying "Fine, Okay I'll tell you guys, few months Ago, we sent the girls into a mission in Bialya, it was to save some of the kidnapped kids, and gain information about the kidnappings, but what happened was something else, in the cave used to hide the children, there was carvings on the walls, dating back to 4000BCE"

"In those carvings, There was pictures of Beetle, one very similar to Blue's beetle, and instructions to a ritual that would cleanse one's mind from the beetle's control, Zatanna said she's studying the ritual, and that she could probably replicate it"

Hearing Nightwing's words, Connor asked "Why do we need to replicate it? Wait are you saying we can't trust blue?"

"Rather it's the green one that I don't trust, how did he manage to access the Reach's Data-Base so easily? Without finding anything about their fleet" said Raiden

"Besides it's the best time to strike, the Reach were already exposed today, their fleet was seen live on TV, the president, the government, and now the public, don't trust them, it's the perfect time to strike" said Raiden, Hearing that the other two couldn't help but agree, as Nightwing said "Then, I'll prepare a team, and we'll proceed tonight"

"Good, I'll tell the president that as well, things will be hectic for a while, but I promise, at the end of the week, the Reach will be kicked out of earth"

Walking inside the meeting Room, Raiden looked around to see the members in attendance, Captain Atom, Zatara and Black Canary, since the other senior members are still missing "take a seat Raiden, the call will start soon" said Canary, Taking a seat at the round meeting table, he looked at the screen, awaiting for the call, then it started, the president showed up on the big screen

"Hello everyone, I would like to thank you all members of the Justice League and Raiden for your work, humanity was saved today because of the actions you took" said the President, thanking everyone for their hard worked, she then turned to Raiden saying "The Wanted stature of Raiden Kagawa has now been withdrew, Raiden will be granted amnesty for all his actions before today, and in fact, I'm working on a bill that has you getting Immunity Raiden, this will make your work easier, you'll be treated as a hero that the government approves of, of course I'll make sure no one questions your work, but we also would appreciate if you could provide us with evidence and reasons for any actions you take in the future"

"Yes, I'm well aware of the fleet, however we've never received information about the relaxants, I'll be sure to create a file for all of this, the Reach has over reached in our world, I do agree it's time to kick them out, but I urge to wait for at least a day, enough for me to pass the bill, and do a press conference about it, usually passing a bill like this would be extremely hard if not impossible, but due to your recent actions, it won't be hard to convince the corrupt congress to cooperate" said the president, calming Raiden for enough time, so that she can make his action legal, and not only that, but so that she makes the government seemed like they are working with the world's strongest hero, essentially showing the world the power of her government

(A King Huh, I don't know, it doesn't suit me, I just want to be happy with the girls I love, and save people, creating a world of peace isn't something I strive for, it's just my idealism and arrogance telling me that I can and should create a perfect world) said Raiden in his thoughts to Merlin, and the latter replied (The Greatest kings were all arrogant and believed that they were perfection, it's a trait of a good king, you've already met two of them, did you dislike them?)

(I've met two? Do you perhaps mean?) said Raiden as Merlin continued saying (The King of Conquerors and the King of heroes, Man who walked at the pinnacle of the world, respectable regardless of their actions, and as the latter loved to say, What's a king if not arrogant?)

Hearing that, Raiden ignored the whole meeting about the future plans of the league, as he focused on his thoughts, could he really do it? Be a King?
