Hunt 2/2

Author note:

No matter what you think or how much you like them, you have to admit that Ryuunosuke and Gilles were the best thing about fate zero. The sheer sync they had was crazy, they were the only ones who actually supported each other. Also, they are undoubtedly among the best 'villains' of the nasuverse in my opinion, like it is crazy how enjoyable it is to watch them.

"So that's him..." muttered Medea as she looked at the orange-haired man in front of us and the three corpses on the floor.

"Hey there!" I shout while waving my hand, bringing his attention away from the blood that stained the floor and making him focus on us. "I am Dio, and you?"

"Ryuunosuke!" he said, slightly confused but still happy. "Are you here to stop me or something?" he asked while getting up.

"Well... I am not sure if stopping you would be the right word, more like showing you a prettier view perhaps?" I reply while rubbing my chin.

Medea looked at me confused, but I just winked at her and kept talking to Ryuunosuke.

"Hey man, what is your favourite part about killing?" I asked as I sat down on a chair and motioned the chair in front of me for him to sit down as well.

"Ohhh, the blood of course!" he said excitedly while making his way to the chair dancing. "The gore is absolutely amazing!"

"I see... then what about killing method? Are you more into slitting people's throats or just stabbing them?" I continued asking.

"Gutting them is the best! But if I had to give a second place I would say skinning them alive... or maybe skinning them alive first and gutting them second?" he wondered aloud while rubbing his chin.

"Hmm, you know? I like you quite a bit." I said while smiling.

"Master!" said Medea loudly with a slightly angry expression.

"What's wrong Caster? I may not like the way he chooses his victims, but I always find someone who follows their desires amazing!" I said, waving my hand to dismiss her concerns. "Don't worry, I will do what I came to do, but I would like to have a conversation first you know? It is good to talk to others after all."

"She called you master?" asked Ryuunosuke with a raised eyebrow. "And she is pretty... can I kill her!" he asked, though it came off as an exclamation due to his excitement.

"I mean... you could try I guess?" I said while rubbing my chin. "But then you wouldn't know what I want to show you."

Ryuunosuke stayed silent for a few seconds, most likely wondering wether he preferred to try and kill Medea now or wait until after I showed him something. "Okey! But it better be something super cool! I can see in your eyes that you enjoy killing to so let's do it!"

I could only shake my head at his words while a smile grew on my lips. "Very well, I will show you the most beautiful thing in this world..." I said.

In an instant, his stomach was opened and blood began flowing out of it. He looked at my index finger, which had changed shape and gained a spear-like appearance, in disbelief before focusing on his blood.

His cheeks grew red as he placed his hand to cover the wound before bringing it up and closer to his eyes. "It's beautiful..." he muttered as his vision began turning black. "Thanks..."

"No problem." I reply with a smile. "However I won't let you enjoy it too much..." I continue while taking off the bandage on my forehead.

Lines began covering everything that I saw, including Ryuunosuke himself. "Goodbye, from one greedy bastard to another." I say before slashing one of the lines with the same finger and making him fall down as nothing more than a corpse.

Medea simply looked at me with a confused expression, as if trying to understand what went through my mind.

"I am weird aren't I?" I asked her in an amused tone. "I did warn you about it though so you can't complain now."

"Why would you like someone like him?" she asked, not amused at my words.

"Well, I like anyone who would follow his own desires." I explained simply while shrugging my shoulders. "I love watching someone go to any lengths for a simple moment of enjoyment, the determination to do what you want to do is simply beautiful after all."

Medea remained looking at me confused, however her expression calmed down a bit.

"Come on, let's go." I say while moving away.

Medea kept looking at my back before focusing on the corpses for a moment. She looked at the dead children with a slightly sad gaze before turning her back as well and following me. Once we got outside, I focused all three of my eyes in the house as they began glowing simultaneously.

"Do you know what happens when something doesn't bend under pressure?" I say aloud though to no one in particular. Medea understood that it was a rhetorical question and remained silent for a moment.

Countless lines appeared on the entire house as cracks began appearing on the walls.

"When something doesn't bend... it breaks!" I say loudly as countless of the lines broke at the same time and the house crumbled down. My eyes remained focused on the same spot at the centre of what used to be the house as rubble rose and began circling around that single point in space. After a few seconds, all that remained was nothing but dust, being taken by the wind.

"I suppose it is indeed possible to combine the powers of mystic eyes huh?" I mutter with a crazy smile on my face.

Medea remained looking at me, however her face changed from confusion to surprise as she saw me turn the entire house to nothing.

"Well..." I say, my expression turning from excited to sour in a moment. "Now based on the laws of the world I must give it an extremely edgy name."

"An... edgy name?" asked Medea.

"Yeah, an edgy name. I was thinking naming it based on the aztec god of the winds, but it wouldn't make complete sense, besides I use the aztec gods' names to name spells and what I did was more of an... ability I guess." I explain while rubbing my chin. "How about death storm?" I ask rhetorically before shaking my head. "Oh! I've got it!" I said while nodding to myself.

After a second of silence I opened my arms widely with a crazy smile. "I'll name it 'God's Judgement'!"

Medea looked at me as if all hope was lost and turned around.

"Hey! I was just kidding okey? Sheesh I didn't expect you to take it so bad." I complain while following her. "Whatever I will just not say any chant..." I mutter while rolling my eyes.

Suddenly we both stopped on our tracks, Diarmuid appearing right next to us.

"Master..." he said with a slightly nervous expression and a smile on his face.

"I know..." I say while focusing my eyes on a specific direction, covering my forehead with the bandage.

Medea stood behind us, purple portals appearing around her and all pointing in the same spot.

Diarmuid tightened the hold on his lances and I took the gloves out of my pocket and wore them.

Golden particles continued materialising at the point we where looking at until a servant in a golden armour appeared, an amused smile on his face.

"Fuck..." I mutter with a smile as a drop of sweat makes its way through my neck. "To what do we owe the pleasure of such a visit, king of heroes?" I ask.
