6 Chapter 6

Wilbur stared off into space as he had noticed a change in his world. More specifically a change reflected upon the path to his goals. He knew exactly what had happened, this world itself was becoming a singularity. Someone had interfered with something in this timeline.

He had hoped that he could finally have some peace. He looked at Jeanne "While it was short I enjoyed our cooperation. You gave me some company and alleviated my loneliness even if It was temporary."

"With the power of my command seal. Jeanne, forget about me."

"With the power of my command seal. Jeanne, do not regret and do not forget your purpose."

"With the power of my command seal. Jeanne return to where you belong."

It was sudden and all three commands were given consecutively. Jeanne looked at him with a puzzled expression as he turned back and walked out. She heard him mutter as she smiled before the command seals took effect before returning to where she was.

"I hope you don't see this. You were my first friend that I could view normally."

In an instant the world was set ablaze as humans vanished from the world. Wilbur stood alone in a blazing inferno. His senses caught hundreds of signatures as he summoned [Night's Thorn] from his coat dimensional pocket.

Its glimmering aura intensified as its restraints were released. The blue aura was now mixed with purple glimmers as it's full capabilities were completely unrestrained. His circuits flared as his body was taken to the utmost limit. Everything was unrestrained.

His grey coat fluttered as he tightened his neck tie. It's light blue colour contrasted with the black collared shirt. It was pleasing to his eyes, a reminder that it would be the only thing pleasing soon.

He started walking towards the convenience store to stock up on whatever was needed in his coat. The convenience store was still filled with snacks and ready made food as he quickly stored them away.

He sighed as his eyes suddenly widened "Shit!" His existence faded as he reappeared outside the convenience store just as the whole store exploded into flames. There were two servants fighting as they both stopped noticing a living human.

"A human?"

Wilbur observed the two servants, one of them had cat ears? And green and yellow hued hair. The other one had a lion head and a blue spandex suit.

He observed them before his green eyes glowed and pierced through the darkness as he saw the truth of their existence. "Atalanta and WTF? Thomas Edison? Or more like Thomas on president steroids."

The two instantly became hostile as they realised that he could discern their true identities. Wilbur wanted no part however it was too late as he raised his blade to block Edison before reflecting the arrows back at Atalanta with the eight mirrors.

[Double Strike]

Edison was knocked off balance as the second invisible strike came as a slash appeared on his chest.

[Wounding]

The wound opened as it refused to heal while he continued to drip blood. Edison noticed ice creeping along the wound as it pierced his insides with sharp icicles. Atalanta watched as the teen made quick work of Edison. The mirrors halted as they went back to circle around their master.

It seemed she was spared.

Wilbur quickly faded away using presence concealment of The One Ring. Servants were having a full on battle royale. He quickly fluttered along the the streets eventually making it back to his house to find a bleeding and battered servant. Her white hair and tanned skin really stood out as her long blade laid next to her. Wilbur cursed his heart for cute things as he slung her over his shoulder.

It would be good to have some company again especially after he let Jeanne go back to wherever she came from.

A quick view of the truth told him enough to know "Why can I not seem to encounter normal servants?"

~~~~
Okita or rather an alternate Okita that had an intentionally deteriorated saint graph and a link to the counter force. Her eyes opened to realise that she was on a bed, next to the bed was food and a cup of tea ready. She still remembered facing off against three servants and barely making it away to collapse on the only house that seemed safe.
The counter force no longer supported her, it could not support her despite the connection being there. Hence she was running low on energy. The door lid open to reveal her assumed saviour.
~~~~

"Looks like you're awake. Okita? Or what should I call you considering your circumstances?"

Wilbur sighed as he kept thinking "How about Okitan?" Okita did not know what to feel apart from a small warm feeling in her chest. Being given a nickname, being distinguished from the original Okita was a nice feeling.

"Anyways I'm Wilbur, found you outside my house on the verge of death. Though due to circumstances I might have imposed a one sided contract to provide you with mana."

Okitan nodded before responding "I should have died if not for you. You have somehow allowed me to live despite my existence being erased. Thank you."

"I do not particularly mind the contract as I must repay you but how? How did you do it?"

"I should have been set to self destruct at the cost of getting rid of everything here. How?"

Wilbur smiled "I simply cut the link." Okitan took it as not to speak further. She sat up properly before standing up "I am Majin Okita Souji. I have accepted your contract. Until this Spirit Origin shatters to pieces... I will battle alongside you."

Wilbur shook her hand "Good to have you Okitan."
