2 An Abomination

India,

Unspecified Location,

"Try me."

Liam, in his 'hubris', refused to back down in front of the dragon that had combated even the King of the Gods.. as was his nature, or perhaps the nature of the numerous beasts infused into his very being.

"...."

Vritra whipped her tail, tearing open the ground behind her and slightly tilted her head, her pupils dilating, "Human, are you serious?" This was so audacious! And yet, so terribly amusing to witness. Much like seeing an insect try to do a task seemingly impossible... except that insect was attractive and had the presence of a much larger beast.... Not something uncommon, many insects oft inflated themselves to appear stronger than they were...

"You're actually serious, aren't you?" The Dragon rested her head in a hand, crossing one leg over the other as she floated in the air.... This was pretty damn, "Superb!" Amused, Vritra clapped her hands together, her eyes brightening not too different from how a child's would at gaining a new toy,

"This much had to be at least, otherwise you never could have summoned me..... Even if you did, I'd have rend your flesh and devoured you!"

The Dragon said something that would terrify most with a harmless smile on her face, nearing her summoner with curious eyes.

Liam, quickly returned to his usual mood, appearing lax, "Glad to have you onboard too." He gave her a thumbs up, smiling with closed eyes... Vritra eh.... if stories were to be believed, the woman in front of him was so immensely powerful he couldn't support her full power... How could he? She was supposed to devour existence.

".....I don't like how you changed moods so fast." Vritra only clicked her tongue, huffing and folding her arms before turning her head away, dissatisfied... She'd hoped to see the confident man fumble about not knowing how to react to her declaration..., "And why the hell are you glad about having a snake on your side? I'm oh so 'evil'." She smiled playfully, tone laced with ridicule at the words.. She owned that stamp like she was born into it.

"Meh..." In response, Liam Zepter only shrugged, "You're powerful as fuck so don't matter what you are." A blunt answer, as should have been expected from one of his nature.. By now, the red haired magus had already turned about, walking back down the dirt path while whistling without a care in the world..... Sure she could still rip his ass to shreds but showing weakness wasn't his thing.

"So you do intend to make use of me?" Vritra curiously floated behind her summoner, staring down at him with interested eyes... Hadn't she said that would end in futility and death?

"I never said that."

"You didn't not say it either. Say it." The Indian Dragon was a demanding Dragon....

Unfortunately for her, she'd been summoned by one of the most petty and insufferable cunts on the planet called Earth, "I'm not gonna say it. You can't make me."

"Oh.. is that so? Be terrified of the greatness that is me!" Although she declared that shamelessly, Vritra appeared more like a complaining child that didn't get what she wanted... She was still a dragon though, and the full brunt of her aura crashing down on Liam made even him stumble around a few steps, his heart speeding up and his breath hitching..

"Hm Hm Hm."

"Damn lizard." Grumbling, the Zepter kept walking on with a small smirk on his face.. He was going to remember this.... He was going to make her pay for it too.

"Who're you calling a lizard?"

"You called yourself one too."

"I said dragon! D-R-A-G-O-N!"

"I don't see your point."

"....Ugh... insufferable human.." Vritra lightly smacked the back of his head, somewhat annoyed by his attitude but still amused by the notion of the weakest of races talking back to her, First-born of the Dragons..... One could say that was the only thing ensuring his survival... Was he some meek prick, she may have torn him to shreds... or made him a servant.. or kept him as an emergency snack.

"...Lizard." Liam smirked again, intent on addressing her as such... She had a whole other thing coming if she thought he was going to give her what he wanted.... That said, he needed to think something up to manage this needy childish dragon he'd somehow summoned... The magus' gaze fell on his command seals but then he sighed, she had A ranked Magic Resistance, they weren't going to do jack shit.

That said... What was going to happen to the original Master of Lancer now that he had summoned a servant from that class? Was he just not going to get his seals? Or was the Grail going to fuck up like it often did and have two lancers at the same time?

"Oi human."

"...."

"Oi."

"..."

"OI!"

"What?!"

It appeared that the master-servant duo would be arguing a lot... Was it a testament to their compatibility? Or just a fuck up?

"Feed me." Vritra folded her arms, running her gaze over the crop filled fields stretching for miles and miles all around them... Suddenly she felt like she was about to get insulted.

Smirking, Liam pointed at said crops, "There's your food.."

"...." Vritra deadpanned, displeased, "I will only ever eat meat."

"Don't tell me a mighty Dragon can't eat her vegetables." Liam put a hand over his mouth, raising and lowering his brows with a smirk... He didn't eat vegetables either though, not that Vritra would ever come to learn that.

"W-Wha... can too! I can definitely eat them! I ate entire forests!" Vritra flushed embarrassed, freezing up all the while stuttering, clearly giving away the truth of the matter.

Of course the two dumbasses forgot that grains aren't vegetables in the first place.

-

"I can't feed you though." Liam admitted with a small sigh, he was currently with a disease, "I have a disease."

"I don't see how that stops you from feeding me." Vritra was unamused.. though, her attention had been on something she'd sensed in the distance a few moments ago... She'd found a solution to their predicament. She could also cure the disease, it would be a shame for an amusing man to die so pathetically.

"It's called being a broke fuck."

"What, that's it?" Vritra facepalmed, releasing a sigh before pointing in a certain direction, "There, there's your solution..." Of course Liam couldn't see shit except crops in said direction so he could only incredulously glance back and forth between there and the dragon.

"Crops? Great fucking idea. We can steal these and sell 'em for money except we don't have any bloody transport!" The Zepter's tone was one of sarcasm, he even raised his hands to emphasise just that, "How are we even gonna sell them? Not to mention the currency here is worth a pile of shit on the side of the road."

"Not that stupid human, a temple to Indra. The greedy coward must surely have something of value." Vritra's discontent and willingness to defile a holy temple was understandable, Indra had killed her, they were mortal enemies.. Of course she was going to mess with him every chance she got... A savage grin formed on her face, though it was well-hidden by the veil covering it.

"Unless, the human has problems plundering from it's own kind..." Clearly, the dragon was looking down on Liam.. She underestimated his stinginess and greed a lot though.

"Woman..." It was now Liam's turn to deadpan at her, "I was raised by a guy that experimented on humans and animals with a gleeful smile on his face." He shook his head in disappointment, the lizard seemed to be stupid. Did she forget he was a magus, raised by a magus?

"What a weirdo..."

"No, not weirdo. Dumb, he didn't realise the greatness of his own work." Liam corrected Vritra, expressing his discontent with his father's goal and desires.. To create a monster beyond everything. In that pursuit, he'd not noticed that he had discovered a way to create fully authentic animal girls! Cat girls, wolf girls, fox girls, you name it, the Zepter Family could make it.. Truly, his father was sorely lacking in the brain department.

"I sense you're thinking something dumb."

"I think that's just you going over your own thoughts but anyway,..." Liam looked in the direction Vritra was pointing with narrowed eyes, folding his arms as his pupils dilated, "Hopefully we can find some gold or something."

Wait a second... wasn't there a temple made of gold somewhere in this country? An ominous feeling crawling down his back at the mere thought made Liam instantly abandon the idea, it wasn't worth it... Raiding that place would have every damn magus in this part of the world after his beautiful ass.... He sincerely doubted their competence though.

"If we find any worshippers, I'm setting them alight just enough so they can slowly burn to their deaths..."

"Sheesh, vindictive much?"

"You try being killed by sea foam."

"Understandable."
