Ages Ago.

A rainy day, when she was just eighteen.... her signs of failed love became visible. " Rick, you should just go to her birthday.... I really don't mind." she said with a smile. "Sia, it's not that you mind or not. I don't care even if you did but I really don't wanna go." Rick said carelessly. He failed to notice the tears welling up in her eyes, he continued ".... besides I forgot to tell you I was planning to go to Maldives with Crystal and her friends. Can you...." before he could complete she interrupted "Yeah, even I was planning for a vacation. This sounds perfect. " she exclaimed excitedly. "No no I was just saying can you just lend me your Go Pro?? You see we are all above twenty there, so taking you there won't be a good idea. Besides we don't have that kind of relationship for me to take you with me everywhere!!" he laughed.

His phone ringed showing the caller ID as 'Precious'. He answered the call smiling and while talking on the phone, he walked away without turning even once on his way back. She stood there rooted on spot drenched in rain water.

She came back home to find her house empty as always. Wiping her tears with her sleeves she walked towards the wardrobe to find a set of clothes to change.

After changing into a new set pajamas and making a cup of coffee for herself she sat down writing her diary. Her latest page read,

" Did he just forget that he asked me to be his girlfriend a month ago..... those words today, what was he trying to say? Should I just wait for his birthday to say yes for his question or tell him today. Ughhh.... I'll get crazy!!! Forget it.... He's gonna get a good surprise on his birthday. Yippeee!! I'm finally gonna be his girlfriend..... hehe. "

At Vine Technologies, a subsidiary of Tang Corporation in City A.

"Let's welcome our Project Manager & Designer of this project, Miss. Sia Chen to explain the further details." Ana, Head of Designing Department, spoke in a professional manner with a frown on her face after looking at her boss daydreaming. Her words woke Sia with a jolt.

Later she quickly regained her composure and walked towards the screen with a cold strict look. She was never easy to deal with ever since she entered the company.

"Before we begin our meeting I would like to make everyone known that investments you decide to make should be finalized before you leave this conference hall, also, you can leave with signed contracts. But, any kind of delaying in any process is not acceptable." she made her stance clear in firm words which didn't left any space for arguments.

People working with her naturally knew that's how she worked. But, the new one's definitely had their own doubts. But, some choose to be silent looking at the confidence in her eyes and some wanted to question but couldn't find the courage to do so. Some executives from old generation found her arrogance non-tolerable so they voiced out their opinions.

"We know what's good for ourselves, so you don't need to worry. Just a mere Project Manager but speaks like a CEO. Hmmph! Such arrogance. Who do you think you are to talk to us like that?" before he could continue to spout nonsense a commotion was heard on the door that the CEO of the company Tang Chuan has arrived. Everyone stood up to welcome him. He passed everyone without giving them any face and stood beside Sia and said, "Mr. Ji as a project in charge maybe she cannot but, she's a manager just for this project besides that she's also the Vice President of Vine Technologies.

A small smile escaped Ana's lips, "Who told you guys to mess with the wrong person? Now regret! ".

Sia that was silent the whole time suddenly spoke up, "I'm not here to prove anyone anything, rather, I'm here so that we all can have a happy co-operation. I didn't meant to disrespect anyone present here. Everyone has their own set of rules for their own game, I always declare mine well in advance." she took a small pause raising everyone's anticipation before continuing, "...just because I have absolutely zero tolerance to those under-handed methods."

She faced the screen and opened her presentation and turned back at those executives and began explaining her plan. She didn't even sneak a look at the screen while explaining her idea thus proving how well prepared she was. Even those oldies couldn't find any flaws in the strategy.

The whole idea was just amazing including the product itself, it's marketing or though it's promotions, everything was meticulously well planned.

Each and every person there were convinced by her skills. While everyone was busying praising her and discussing the contract, a single call made her dash out of the hall like a tornado.
