Chapter 42 Unexplainable

"Nina." Colin had a forced smile on his face.

He was no longer the suave image of the past at this point. His hair was a touch disheveled and hadn't been sprayed with hairspray. His eyes were sleepy, and he had light stubble on his chin, which made him appear very decadent.

"Please come in." Nina gave him a gentle look before turning aside to make room.

She didn't ask how he got here. Even if the White House was in ruins, it still had strength. It was easy to look up her address.

Colin's gaze dropped down and fell on her right foot as she saw Nina move slowly against the wall, and she hurriedly stepped forward.

"I'll support you."

Nina avoided his hand and said lightly, "No."

Colin came to a halt and quickly dropped his eyes to conceal his anguish.

"My feet are a nuisance. The table has water on it. Pour it yourself if you wish to drink it." Nina quietly gazed at Colin in front of her.

"No... No need." Colin quickly shook his head and refused.
