9 Consoling

Andrea saw Brian waking towards the gate and she ran to him and hugged him.

Andrea was sobbing so Brian hugged her back to make her feel safe. 

"I am sorry, I ran away. I was so scared. What happened."

"They were just muggers. You don't have to worry about it. Do you have anyone who likes you? Those guys said to stay away from you. They probably did it for the money."

Andrea thought about it. There have been lots of boys who wanted to know her but she didn't go out with anyone.

"I am not sure but it should be someone from college. I don't know."

"It's my fault as well to walk around at such places. We should have taken a cab. Would have been safer. Still, don't go out at night for a couple of days alone."

"I will never go out at night. I was so scared. No one has talked to me like that guy did." Andrea said with fear.

Brian hugged her tightly and rubbed her back.

"Aren't you a little sacredly cat? Don't worry, nothing will happen with me around."

Andrea felt Brian was really brave when she asked her to go away.

Andrea's head near Brian's neck. She looked towards his face and moved her face towards his lips.

Brian saw what Andrea wanted and responded with a light peck.

"It's just research for the novel. Don't think about it."

said Andrea shyly.

"Yeah. All for research." Brian snickered and  Andrea pinched his waist.

Brian walked inside with Andrea while she was holding on to her arm.

Brian's dorm  was closer to the entry gate and they reached there.

"Do you want to come up?"

Brian felt another pinch on his waist and looked at Andrea's red face.

"Sorry, I was kidding. Let's have a coffee at the café, I don't feel like going back after what happened outside."

Andrea was also happy to hear it. She was still a bit scared because of what happened.

Brian and Andrea were just like a couple going around campus without any care. It was late at night when Andrea went back to her dorm.

Betty was waiting for her there.

"Aren't you fast. Kissing at the gate. Half of the boys in our class are probably cursing that Brian for taking you away."

"What, How do you know?"

"I know, everyone knows. Who told you to choose the busiest place on campus. Everyone else goes to the well established spots like library or something but you two, I must say I am impressed."

"Its good anyway. Since everyone knows less boys will bother me. Do you know anyone who has lots of contacts and wanted to date me. Someone threatened Brian to stay away from me."

Andrea told Betty what had happened.

"There are lots of guys in our class who can do that. I am not so sure. Should be a person from around here since he knows the gangs. I am glad you guys are safe. It was your fault to walk around at weird places at night. Just get a car."

"I am thinking of buying one. It's a hassle but there is no parking for students inside. I will have to park it far away and it won't serve any purpose."

"Just think about it after the exams. I wanted to invite you and Brian for a party but let's do it after the exams now."

"Yup, Brian is quite busy anyway. He is part of small start-up. I am not sure if he will have time anyway."

"What startup. Why haven't I heard. Is Brian rich or something."

"Na, his parents are teachers. He can code well, I am not sure. He has a friend who is the owner, Brian is mainly working for him as far as I know."

"That sounds like a part time job and not a startup. I thought he was a big fish." Betty almost thought Brian was some kind of super rich investing his pocket money in some business.

"Whatever. Good night. I have to revise." Andrea left the hallway and went into her room.

She had a smile on her face when she thought about the hug and the kiss. She wanted to talk to someone. Should I tell someone. I should ask sister and started texting her sister.

Meanwhile, Brian was happy with the development with Andrea. He liked the little girl and both of them were closer now but still he was annoyed that he was almost killed.

I am being too careless. I should always have Rob near me. This is too dangerous. What if those guys had guns. I could have died. I need 100,000 to buy more bots. Should I buy one now? No, let's do it after making some money. I should let Rob buy a gun. It would be safer.

Brian tried sleeping but he still thought about Andrea.

What if she agreed to come to my room.

Brian was thinking about all the things that could have happened, fantasizing about Andrea's body.

What the fuck. I was never so sexually active in my last life. Why am I obsessed by her. Is it that Gene Repair potion. Was I impotent in last life? 

Brian fell asleep with these bizzare thoughts.
