6 Kingdom of Slevia

Location: Leefside Village, Slevia Kingdom

Al and his friends managed to save Serena, the girl they found when they came home from looking for firewood, and her friend Aqua from the bandits who kidnapped them. Currently, Al and his friends are in their orphanage and are treating wounds from their previous fight.

"Support Magic: Life Dew," Aqua used her skill to treat Al.

"Wow! Your support magic is so cool! Al's wound immediately closes and heals," Iris is amazed by Aqua's skill.

"My skill can only treat external wounds. So? Are you feeling better, Al?" asked Aqua after she finished treating Al.

"Although the external wound is healed, I still felt a little sore from the inside," said Al while moving his body.

"Al! Aqua! Iris! Grandpa is waiting for you outside. Are you finished?" asked Lia who came into the room.

"Yes!" Iris replied.

They all were gathered in one room.

"We apologize for troubling you," Serena apologized.

"We don't seem to have introduced ourselves well. My name is Aqua, and this is Serena. We are an Adventurer who happened to have a mission nearby," Aqua introduced herself and Serena to Al and friends.

"When we were on our mission, we ran into the bandits and got into a little fighting. I managed to escape despite getting so many injuries. However, Aqua was caught by them," Serena explains how they met the bandits.

"So that's the reason why we found you unconscious lying on the ground covered in wounds," said Marc.

"Serena, Aqua, I would like to know more about an Adventurer. Can you explain to me?" Al asks Serena and Aqua to explain to him about an Adventurer.

"Looks like you are very interested in becoming an Adventurer, Al," said Grandpa.

Al just silently blushed.

"Very well, we'll explain about an Adventurer," said Serena.

"First, you should know in advance that our kingdom, the Kingdom of Slevia, has a system called The Seven Sage under the king's rule. The Seven Sage established several guilds in this kingdom, the first guild is the guild The Holy Pheonix, this guild contains strong people like Isaac and his friends who we met earlier. This guild was also directly under the orders of The Seven Sage. The second guild is our Guild, The Dark Cats Guild, which is led by a Guildmaster named Sir Garrison. Then the third guild, The Ferocious Bear Guild, this guild also contains people who are quite strong," Aqua explained their guild system.

"People who become Adventurers must be members of one of those guilds," Serena added a detail that Aqua had missed.

"I'm surprised. Don't you know anything about your royal system?" Aqua asked.

"Since childhood, they only live in this small village. I never tell anything about the world they live in," replied the grandfather.

"Grandpa..." Al and his friends just stared at their grandfather.

"Why don't you tell us, grandpa?" asked Gray.

"I want you to find out for yourself. Looks like now is the time," replied the grandfather.

"Time for what, Grandpa? I don't understand," Marc was confused by what his grandfather said.

"Alexander, Graymond, Marcus, Leonardo, Emilia, now it's time for you to go see the outside world. Serena, Aqua, would you like to invite them to your Guild?" Grandpa asked Serena and Aqua.

"What? What do you mean, grandpa?" Gray was surprised by what his grandfather said.

"I don't understand at all," said Marc.

Grandpa looked at Serena and Aqua, ignoring what Gray and Marc said. Serena and Aqua, who stared at each other with Grandpa, understood the decision that Grandpa was making.

"Sure. We will invite them if they want to join our guild. However, it all depends on their decision. So, do you guys want to join our guild?" asked Serena.

"Wait. Why did you suddenly tell us to join their guild? " asked Marc.

"I'll join you," Al answered Serena's question.

Everyone fell silent to hear Al's words.

"Are you sure? Life as an Adventurer isn't easy," says Serena.

"For five years after I get Fantasia, I always train to become stronger. I guess I've become stronger. But, look at what happened at the headquarters of the bandits made me realize that I was not strong enough. Besides, I still have no purpose in life at all while living in this village. Therefore, I decided to become an Adventurer and go out there to learn new things and become stronger. Can I come with you?" Al made up his mind.

"Al..." muttered Lia.

"Of course. We'll take you to our guild to meet Sir Garry. He will decide whether you are accepted or not in our guild," Serena replied.

"How about you guys?" asked Aqua to Gray, Marc, Leo, and Lia.

The four of them stare at each other.

"Huh... it can't be helped... if grandfather told us to leave then I will follow what he said," said Gray.

"Gray!" Marc was surprised by Gray's answer.

"Looks like going out of the village isn't bad," Leo said.

"Leo?!" Marc was more surprised by Leo's decision.

"Come on, Marc. Don't you want to see the outside world?" asked Gray.

"It's useless you ask him. He won't last long out there," said Leo.

"What did you say?" Marc starts getting mad at Gray and Leo.

"Mark, we will be happy if you come with us," Aqua invited Marc.

Marc blushed because a girl invited him.

"I-it can't be helped. If you insist," said Marc, who was a little embarrassed by Aqua's invitation.

"Good choice!" Gray slightly hit Marc's head.

"Aw!" Marc is in a little pain.

"Then, what about you Lia?" asked Al.

Lia was confused then looked at her grandfather.

"What about grandfather? Are we leaving him?" asked Lia.

"Don't worry about me. Go with them, I can take care of myself," replied grandfather.

"Don't worry, I'll still accompany grandfather," said Iris while hugging her grandfather.

"Do you still want to stay here, Lia? We will not force you to come if you still want to stay here with Grandpa and Iris," said Al.

Lia thought for a moment.

"No. I'll go with you, Al. I'll help you out there," said Lia.

Al smiled at Lia who decided to come with him. They all packed their belongings to go with Serena and Aqua to their Guild, namely, The Dark Cats Guild.
