First Day

The alarm sounds off)

It's already time to wake up. How I wish I could stop time just for a little bit, but fortunately I can't. I guess it means it's time to get up and get the day started.

- rolls around to the other side to disable his alarm-

After Luis gets out of bed, he heads to the bathroom to wash up.

This is my first day of high school and I will not let the past define me. This is a new beginning!

We moved here during the summer break. Due to my mom getting a job as a makeup artist and the disappearance of my dad, who's been missing for almost a year now. No one knows what happened. It's like he vanished and is nowhere to be found. So it's just been me and my mom since.

(A few minutes later )

As I was walking down the sidewalk, I noticed a group of people surrounding someone, but I was unable to see who it was. I think it's at least 20 people or more, but it's too early for all the noise they're making.

The school is about 15 blocks from my house, and when I was exploring the other day, I found a shortcut in a field*.

It's so pleasant out here that I wish I could stay instead of heading to school - sigh -

Time passed-

The first day of high school, I think I should get something before class starts.

The same group of people who were making all that noise as he walked to school attended the same high school, Luis notices as he heads to the cafeteria to grab a carton of milk and a banana.

Luis heads off to class after grabbing his milk and a banana. As he was walking down the hallway, someone ran right into him. Luis falls to the ground and drops his milk and half-eaten banana all over the floor as the other person runs off without saying a word.

*Dang, not even a sorry *

I need to hurry and find something to pick this mess up before I'm late for class.

I think I passed the janitor's closet. There should be some napkins there.

Upon opening the janitor's closet, he sees two people making out and immediately shuts the door, shouts out "sorry," and runs off.

*This is already shaping up to be a long day. Maybe I shouldn't have run off like that. All I was trying to do was grab some napkins, so I'm able to clean up that mess in the hallway*

Luis then glances over at his watch and realizes he has 5 minutes till class starts? I need to hurry before I'm late.

After entering the classroom, Luis notices everyone is talking in groups -

Should I go over and say hi? I think I will go find a desk first*

The teacher walks in -

Good morning class, I hope everyone is ready for a fresh start. We are getting ready to set up sign seats, and we have a new student that will introduce himself after I call everyone's name.

( Luis): "Why me?" "Why do I need to introduce myself in front of all these people*

Time passed-

( Teacher ) Okay, everyone, these are your sets while you are in my class. Yasu I see you have decided to join us. Please take your seat next to Luis.

( Yasu ) Yeah, whatever you say, teach.

( Luis ) I'm so nervous, I'm freaking out at the thought of speaking to the whole class. It makes my stomach turn upside down.

I have to play it cool since I can not live my entire life as a chicken. Luis, you got this.

As the teacher stands up and says, "Luis, will you stand up and introduce yourself to the class, Luis?" Luis, Luis Can you hear me?

As Luis hurries up and stands, he accidentally drops his bag on the floor and apologizes to the teacher.

The class started to laugh.

Good morning, everyone, I am Luis.

My mom and I recently moved here a few weeks ago, due to her new job. I am 15 years old and I am looking forward to getting to know everyone. I hope we can all be friends! - bows down and takes a seat -

( classmates ) He's sooo cute.

As Yasu looks over to his left at Luis and thinks - * He is such a cute little kitten, I would love to sink my teeth into

( Teacher ) Okay, class. Thank you, Luis, for introducing yourself to the class. We are going to start by pairing you guys up for a class assignment.

(Class) Awwww, that sucks, on the first day of school.

( Teacher ) When I speak, the class remains silent. Everyone will pair up and get to know one another. The class will hear what you learned about the other person on Monday.

Luis and Yasu. You two are going to pair up together.

As Luis looked over to his right and saw Yasu, he was stunned by how handsome he was.

(Yasu)Nice to meet you. It seems like I'm your partner.

Luis Blush, face plummets like a tomato -

( Yasu ) Are you blushing? - raising his eyebrows-

As Luis shouts out, "Noooooooo," he sees his classmates frightened and confused at what just happened.

( Luis ) I'm sorry to everyone

(Ring, ring, as the bell rings for lunch.) Luis Rush's out of the class and runs to the bathroom to wash his face.

( Luis ) What just happened? Why did my face turn red? It was probably because I'm hot, and I haven't had much to eat but a half banana. Yeah, that's why* I should head to the cafeteria and see what they have.

The food here looks pretty delicious *

As Luis looks for a table, he hears someone calling out his name.

( ? ) Hey Luis, come sit over here!!

( Luis ) who, is calling me and looking around.

( ? ) Luis, over here, Luis.

( Luis ) * why? Why is she calling me? Does she want me to sit with her? You can do this*

( ? ) Hello Luis, I'm Ashley. We are in the same class. Why don't you come and join me for lunch?

( Luis ) H-Hello, Ashley! Thanks for having me.

( Ashley ) you are so adorable and reach over to pinch his cheeks.

So Luis, you just moved here? Where did you move from?

( Luis ) A small town called X mountain

( Ashley ) how are you liking it so far?

( Luis ) It's quite pleasant. I was able to explore the town a little bit after me and my mom settled in. After that, Luis looked up and noticed Yaus surrounded by a bunch of girls.

( Luis ) Hey, Ashley who is he?

( Ashley ) Yaus runs the school here, but frankly, I don't like him. He's such a jerk. always doing as he pleases. He's always surrounded by people, and he has a new girlfriend every week, which is a pain because they always end up crying when he leaves them. To be honest, you should stay away from him.

Hey, Luis, we should be friends!! What do you think? Luis, can you hear me?

As Luis was lost in thought,

*I wonder if he was the same person surrounded by all those people this morning. On top of that, I think he is the same guy who was in the janitors' closet this morning, plus he is the same one who knocked me down and made me waste my milk and banana, and now he is my partner for this assignment. *

( Ashley ) Luis-Waving her hand in front of his face

( Luis ) Sorry, what did you say?

( Ashley ) would you like to be my friend?

( Luis ) "She wants to be friends with me." * Yes, I would love that.

( bell rings for class )

As Luis and Ashley walk into class together, he notices Yaus was gone.

( Teacher ) I see Yaus has disappeared again ( sigh )

Time past

Finally, school has come to an end and I can go home. * It was a long day, but I managed to make a friend, so it makes up for this morning*

( Ashely ) Hey, Luis, did you want to come out with me?

( Luis ) I'm sorry Ashley. I can't today. I have to go home and cook.

( Ashley ) It's okay next time - and reaches over to pinch his cheeks -

( Luis ) ahhh that hurts. * Why does she keep doing that *

As he was walking home from school, Luis heard someone calling out his name, but wasn't sure who it might be.

(Luis) me

( ? ) Yeah, you

Luis looks around and notices it was Yaus' that was calling for him.

( Yaus ) I'm coming over, so we can work on this stupid project together.

( Luis ) umm

Yaus - looks at him. Are we heading out or what? I don't have all-day

( Luis ) y yeah

( Luis ) * This is the longest walk ever. I thought I was going to be able to go home and relax... It looks like the jokes on me * ( sigh )

As they are walking in silence, Yaus receives a phone call ( Ring, Ring )

( Yaus ) Hello,

I know I'm going to have to be a little late tonight. I got stuck doing a project on the first day of school.

Yeah, Daddy will make it up to you later. Got to go.

( Luis ) * didn't Ashley mention that he's always with a new girl every week... Why do I even care? I just want this day to end already - as Luis walks up to his house. * This is where I stay

( Yaus ) Okay, are you planning to let me in, or are we going to be standing out here all day?

Luis rolls his eyes and thinks to himself, * I guess I have no choice but to invite him in..." Come on in.

Would you like something to drink as he closes the front door?

( Yaus ) Yeah, do you have any wine or something strong?

( Luis ) we have water, tea, or coffee. Aren't you too young to be drinking anyway *

( Yaus ) Coffee

( Luis ) Okay, my room is down the hall, the 2nd door on the right. I'll be there once I'm done - and head to the kitchen.

As Yaus walks into his room and thinks to himself, * I'm very interested in finding out more about him." For some odd reason, I can't get the image out of my head when he first looked at me with his blushing cheeks. I want to see more. * I should tease him a little bit. It would be fun.

- Luis walks into the room - Sorry, did you say something

( Yaus ) No, I think you are imaging things.

( Luis ) OO, I'm sorry. I thought I heard something.

( Yaus ) no, let's get to work.

( Luis ) Okay, here is your coffee. I forgot to ask how you take it.

( Yaus ) This is fine.

- Luis walks over to the coffee table in the middle of his room and says, - Come sit down, so we can get started on your school assignment... Tell me about your hobbies and what do you like to do for fun?

( Yaus ) I don't have any hobbies, and for fun, you can take a guess - as he gets closer to Luis' face

- Yaus with a grin on his face: - I'm just getting to know you. This is a part of our assignment.

Before Luis was able to respond to Yaus, he heard the front door close and a voice calling out. Hey, honey! I'm home. How was your first day of high school? As his mom walks into the room,

( Mom ) I didn't know you had company. Who is your friend?

( Luis ) in a low voice. He isn't my friend.

( Yaus ) Hello Madam, I'm Yaus. Nice to meet you.

( Mom) * so handsome" * Luis Don't be so rude to your guests. It's been a long time since you brought a friend over. Would you like to join us for dinner?

( Luis ) I'm sorry, but he has plans and won't be able to join us.

( Yaus ) It's not a big deal. I can cancel it. It wasn't important. I would love to join you guys for dinner.

( Mom ) Excellent! I'll go prepare dinner then.

( Luis ) *Why won't this day end* You don't have to stay."

Yaus lends into Luis' ear and whispers, "What if I want to stay?" - ILL COME BACK

After a few hours, Yaus leaves, heading home for the night, and notices multiple missed phone calls and text messages.

30 missed calls and 25 messages.

( Ring, Ring )

I responded and turned on the speaker.

Hello

( ? ) why didn't you show up or pick up any of my messages and phone calls?

( Yaus ) I had better things to do (in a cold voice )

( ? ) I miss you. Can I come over? I have a surprise for Daddy!

( Yaus ) No, I'm not in the mood.

( ? ) you promised

( Yaus ) I said no ( in a cold voice ) and hung up the phone.

After hanging up the phone, Yaus finally makes it home and looks around to see no one home. Of course, no one's home * and walks into the kitchen to find a note left on the table.

(note) I'll be on a business trip for a while. If you need anything, contact my assistant.

Yaus then crumbles up the note to throw it away and heads to the bathroom to wash up.

After some time, he hears a noise coming from his room. What is all that noise? Dad is away on a trip, and I haven't seen mom in a while due to her being overseas. * as he opens up his room door and sees Sam sitting on the bed wearing one of his button-up shirts and lingerie.

( Yaus ) What did I tell you over the phone?

( Sam ) Hey Daddy, did you miss me? I told you I had a surprise for you. Don't you like it

( Yaus ) didn't I tell you, I didn't want to see you tonight?

( Sam ) I'm already here, why not have some fun? Plus, I've got this sexy outfit for you to tear off me with your teeth.

As Yaus raises his eyebrow with a grin on his face,

( Luis ) Today was rough, plus that jerk stayed over for dinner.

We got our assignment done, so it will be the last time I'll have him over again. However, I'm not sure why I was so disappointed to see him leave. I'm curious, did he actually meet that person he was speaking with over the phone? *Why do I even care?
