29 Getting the rewards (18+)

When we walked through the portal, we arrived back in the shrine. Charlotte and I walked to the room Ela and I shared. Zofia said she had to do other things, so she left us. When we arrived at the room, I opened the door, let her walk in, and followed her in. We laid the two unconscious women on the sofa, and while I stood guard and watched over them, Charlotte went to report to Kali about Ela's awakening.

While she was away, Camila started to wake up. She opened her eyes, and when she saw that she had woken up in an unfamiliar place, she sprang to her feet. Such an action would get any human light-headed, so she quickly sat back down. I walked over to her and offered her a glass of water. When she came to and finally calmed down, she asked where we were. I said that we were at Ela's and my home. She looked at me weirdly for a moment before asking and ensuring that we were foreigners and weren't from Brazil.

I nodded again, and she started to freak out again. I hugged her, looked her in the eyes, and asked if she found what we did at night in our rooms weird. She quickly blushes but nods her head. I explained that we were in a place that would explain it all to her but that we first needed to wait to let Ela wake up.

 She remembered what happened before she fainted and quickly asked what had happened, but I again explained that we would wait for Ela to wake up. At the same time, she was asking questions, and I was already letting her go.

I sat down next to her. While we talked, Charlotte returned with a warrior-like woman I could recognize even if the world ended. It was my teacher, Kali. They strode in, and Kali immediately scanned everything in the room, looking for anything dangerous. When she saw nothing, she nodded and walked over with a smile.

"So already done, that was quite quick, wasn't it?" 

"We did take the longer route, mam, but we were as quick as possible otherwise."

Kali nodded at my response and smiled mysteriously as if her words meant nothing to her. She looked at my sister, and her green eyes shone. It looked like she was scanning and examining what was happening. When she was done looking, she began scanning me, and just from her look, I could tell that with one wrong move, I could be dead.

She seemed satisfied when she stopped looking at me and finally turned her gaze to Camila. She looked at Charlotte, who was beside her, and said, "Do the ritual with her. She looks like she is interested." 

Charlotte nodded at her and walked towards Camila. She asked her to follow her, and Camila started to look at me. I shook my head with a smile and my thumbs up. When she saw me giving that sign, she sighed and followed Charlotte out of the room. When they left, Kali gestured with her hand, and a magic circle emerged.

The magic circle began to float above Ela. I looked towards Kali for an explanation, and she explained that the magic she used was time acceleration because awakening a god's body can take an hour to thousands of years. The bearer of that physique is in a coma, so they don't know how much time has passed.

The longer the body is unconscious, the stronger the bearer of that physique will get. So after Kali explained all that, I looked towards Ela and hoped that she would be lying there for a long time because I didn't know the time difference she was experiencing inside that magic circle.

But the moment was short-lived because Ela was moving her body and began opening her eyes. The magic circle dissipated, and I ran to Ela's side. After making sure that she was alright, I looked at Kai and asked how long Ela had been in a coma. Kali looked at me and calmly said,

"5000 years"

My mouth opened wide as I heard her answer. Ela began to look around her. Seeing that she was at home with her sister, she thought that she had just had a nap and yawned and stretched her body. When she saw Kali standing in the room, she froze and quickly kneeled in front of her with inhuman speed. Kali smiled at her and patted her head. When she was done looking at and scanning Ela's body, she said that it was time for our rewards.

She snapped her fingers, and we both heard a system notification. When we looked, we saw that the quest tab was pulsing, and when we clicked it, it said that we had completed the quest and earned our rewards. The rewards were:

Both Ela and Jasmine received the same rewards, and they were happy with what they received. A meeting with their God and mastery of themselves was something they never imagined this early in their journey.
