137 The Difference

Sam was led into a dimly lit room by two burly men. One was Marcus, and the other was a tall man with a stanky beard, and his hair was a complete mess. He was wearing a white t-shirt with black jeans. He also had a chain that had the letter "G" engraved on it.

The room she entered was filled with smoke and had the smell of cigar smoke. A group of rough-looking men was sitting around a large wooden table, discussing business in hushed tones. One of the men, who appeared to be the leader, looked up as Sam entered the room. He beckoned her forward with a nod of his head.

Sam approached the table nervously. She fiddled with her fingers and took deep breaths to steady her nerves. It was not in her character to be intimidated by anything, but the environment was eerie, and being back in her former neighborhood gave her a faint sense of PTSD that affected her mental state.

She cleared her throat and began to speak.
